(2) 前記遠位ハブが、少なくとも1つの応力除去処理用縁部を更に備える、実施態様1に記載のカテーテル。
(3) 前記応力除去処理用縁部の前記形状記憶材料の少なくとも一部が、遠位端における第1の厚みと、前記可撓性ワイヤの前記遠位端における第2の厚みに向かう漸減部と、を備える、実施態様2に記載のカテーテル。
(4) 前記応力除去処理用縁部が曲率半径を更に含み、前記曲率半径が前記遠位ハブの内径に向かって方向づけられている、実施態様2に記載のカテーテル。
(5) 前記複数の可撓性ワイヤがそれぞれブリッジ部分を更に備え、前記ブリッジ部分が、前記可撓性ワイヤの前記遠位端を前記遠位ハブに接続している、実施態様1に記載のカテーテル。
(7) 前記ブリッジ部分が正弦波形状を備える、実施態様6に記載のカテーテル。
(8) 前記ブリッジ部分が直線形状を備える、実施態様6に記載のカテーテル。
(9) 前記遠位ハブが複数のU字形陥凹を更に含む波形を備え、各U字形陥凹が隣接する可撓性ワイヤの間に位置する、実施態様1に記載のカテーテル。
(10) 前記U字形陥凹が間隙を画定し、前記間隙は、送達構成にあるときに第1の距離を有し、配備構成にあるときに第2の距離を有する、実施態様9に記載のカテーテル。
(12) 前記正弦波形状陥凹が間隙を画定し、前記間隙は、送達構成にあるときに第1の距離を有し、配備構成にあるときに第2の距離を有する、実施態様11に記載のカテーテル。
(13) 前記遠位ハブが、複数の遠位陥凹を更に含む連続リボン形の波形を備え、各遠位陥凹が、隣接する可撓性ワイヤの間に位置し、且つ前記可撓性ワイヤの前記遠位端から遠位に延在する、実施態様1に記載のカテーテル。
(14) 前記遠位ハブが、遠位に配向された複数の遠位陥凹と、近位に配向された複数の近位陥凹とを有し、前記遠位陥凹及び近位陥凹が、互い違いになり、且つ前記遠位ハブの周縁の周りに等間隔に離間されている、実施態様13に記載のカテーテル。
(15) 前記遠位ハブが、第1の応力除去処理用縁部と第2の応力除去処理用縁部とを有し、前記第1の応力除去処理用縁部が前記遠位ハブの遠位端上に波形形状を有し、前記第2の応力除去処理用縁部が前記遠位ハブの近位縁部上にアーチ型形状を有し、前記遠位ハブが少なくとも2つの遠位突起を更に含み、前記遠位突起が前記遠位ハブの周縁の周りに均等に分布している、実施態様1に記載のカテーテル。
細長いカテーテル本体を形成することと、
遠位ハブで接合された複数の可撓性ワイヤを有する可撓性ワイヤアセンブリを、単一片の形状記憶材料から形成することと、
前記複数の可撓性ワイヤの反対側の位置にある前記遠位ハブの遠位端上に応力除去処理用縁部を形成することと、
前記可撓性ワイヤアセンブリを加熱してバスケット形状アレンジメントをヒートセットすることと、
複数の電極及びケーブル配線を前記複数の可撓性ワイヤのそれぞれに接続して、バスケット形状電極アセンブリを形成することと、
前記バスケット形状電極アセンブリを前記細長いカテーテル本体の遠位端に接続することと、
を含む、方法。
(17) 前記単一片の形状記憶材料がニチノール合金チューブを含む、実施態様16に記載の方法。
(18) 前記応力除去処理用縁部が、前記可撓性ワイヤを前記遠位ハブに接続しているブリッジ部分を備える、実施態様16に記載の方法。
(19) 前記応力除去処理用縁部が、複数の陥凹を有する連続波形を含む、実施態様16に記載の方法。
(20) 前記応力除去処理用縁部が複数の遠位突起を含む、実施態様16に記載の方法。
Claims (17)
- カテーテルであって、
近位端及び遠位端を有し、長手方向軸に沿って延在する、細長いカテーテル本体と、
複数の可撓性ワイヤを有し、単一片の形状記憶材料から形成される前記細長いカテーテル本体の前記遠位端に位置決めされる、可撓性ワイヤアセンブリであって、各可撓性ワイヤが近位端と遠位端と遠位ハブとを有し、前記遠位ハブが、前記複数の可撓性ワイヤの少なくとも一部分の前記遠位端から延在し、前記遠位ハブが、応力除去処理用縁部を備える、可撓性ワイヤアセンブリと、
前記複数の可撓性ワイヤから形成される複数のスパインと、
各スパインに取り付けられた複数の電極及びケーブル配線であって、前記複数の電極及びケーブル配線が、対応する複数のワイヤを有し、それらのワイヤをコア上に巻き付けてシースで被覆することによって前記シースを通して前記複数のワイヤのうちの1つに各電極が取り付けられ、
結果として、前記カテーテルは、半径方向外側に前記スパインが弓形に曲がる或る動作状態と、前記スパインが概ね前記カテーテル本体の長手方向軸に沿って配列されている別の動作状態とを有し、
前記コアは、前記カテーテルが半径方向外側に湾曲する第1の動作状態と、前記スパインが前記カテーテル本体の長手方向軸線にほぼ沿って配置される第2の動作状態とを有するように、前記可撓性ワイヤのうちの一つが通過するルーメンを提供し、前記応力除去処理用縁部は、前記遠位ハブの内径となり、前記第2の動作状態から前記第1の動作状態になるときに、内側に移動又は回転するように構成され、前記遠位ハブの内径は、前記第1の動作状態では第1の直径を有し、前記第2の動作状態では第2の直径を有し、前記第2の直径は前記第1の直径より大きい、カテーテル。 - 前記応力除去処理用縁部の前記形状記憶材料の少なくとも一部が、遠位端における第1の厚みと、前記可撓性ワイヤの前記遠位端における第2の厚みに向かう漸減部と、を備える、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記遠位ハブは、前記第2の動作状態において内側に湾曲している、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記複数の可撓性ワイヤがそれぞれブリッジ部分を更に備え、前記ブリッジ部分が、前記可撓性ワイヤの前記遠位端を前記遠位ハブに接続している、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 隣接する2つの可撓性ワイヤの前記遠位端がブリッジ部分を形成し、前記ブリッジ部分が、前記可撓性ワイヤを前記遠位ハブに接続している、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記ブリッジ部分が正弦波形状を備えるか、または、直線形状を備える、請求項5に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記遠位ハブが複数のU字形陥凹を更に含む波形を備え、各U字形陥凹が隣接する可撓性ワイヤの間に位置する、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記U字形陥凹が間隙を画定し、前記間隙は、送達構成にあるときに第1の距離を有し、配備構成にあるときに第2の距離を有する、請求項7に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記遠位ハブが、複数の正弦波形状陥凹を更に含む波形を備え、各正弦波形状陥凹が、隣接する可撓性ワイヤの間に位置する、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記正弦波形状陥凹が間隙を画定し、前記間隙は、送達構成にあるときに第1の距離を有し、配備構成にあるときに第2の距離を有する、請求項9に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記遠位ハブが、複数の遠位陥凹を更に含む連続リボン形の波形を備え、各遠位陥凹が、隣接する可撓性ワイヤの間に位置し、且つ前記可撓性ワイヤの前記遠位端から遠位に延在する、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記遠位ハブが、遠位に配向された複数の遠位陥凹と、近位に配向された複数の近位陥凹とを有し、前記遠位陥凹及び近位陥凹が、互い違いになり、且つ前記遠位ハブの周縁の周りに等間隔に離間されている、請求項11に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記遠位ハブが、第1の応力除去処理用縁部と第2の応力除去処理用縁部とを有し、前記第1の応力除去処理用縁部が前記遠位ハブの遠位端上に波形形状を有し、前記第2の応力除去処理用縁部が前記遠位ハブの近位縁部上にアーチ型形状を有し、前記遠位ハブが少なくとも2つの遠位突起を更に含み、前記遠位突起が前記遠位ハブの周縁の周りに均等に分布している、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- カテーテルを形成するための方法であって、
細長いカテーテル本体を形成することと、
遠位ハブで接合された複数の可撓性ワイヤを有する可撓性ワイヤアセンブリを、単一片の形状記憶材料から形成することと、
前記複数の可撓性ワイヤの反対側の位置にある前記遠位ハブの遠位端上に応力除去処理用縁部を形成することと、
前記可撓性ワイヤアセンブリを加熱してバスケット形状アレンジメントをヒートセットすることと、
複数の電極及びケーブル配線を前記複数の可撓性ワイヤのそれぞれに接続して、複数の可撓性ワイヤから形成された複数のスパインを有するバスケット形状電極アセンブリを形成することと、
前記バスケット形状電極アセンブリを前記細長いカテーテル本体の遠位端に接続することであって、前記複数の電極と前記ケーブル配線は、対応する複数のワイヤがコアに巻かれ、被覆で覆われており、各電極が前記被覆を通して複数のワイヤのうちの1つに取り付けられるようにしている、接続することと、
を含み、
前記コアは、前記カテーテルが半径方向外側に湾曲する第1の動作状態と、前記スパインが前記カテーテル本体の長手方向軸線にほぼ沿って配置される第2の動作状態とを有するように、前記可撓性ワイヤのうちの一つが通過するルーメンを提供し、前記応力除去処理用縁部は、前記遠位ハブの内径となり、前記第2の動作状態から前記第1の動作状態になるときに、内側に移動又は回転するように構成され、前記遠位ハブの内径は、前記第1の動作状態では第1の直径を有し、前記第2の動作状態では第2の直径を有し、前記第2の直径は前記第1の直径より大きい、カテーテルを形成する方法。 - 前記単一片の形状記憶材料がニチノール合金チューブを含む、請求項14に記載のカテーテルを形成する方法。
- 前記応力除去処理用縁部が、前記可撓性ワイヤを前記遠位ハブに接続するブリッジ部分を含むか、または連続波形を含み、前記連続波形が複数の陥凹を有する、請求項14に記載のカテーテルを形成する方法。
- 前記応力除去処理用縁部は、複数の遠位突起を含む、請求項14に記載のカテーテルを形成する方法。
