Claims (13)
- 空気及び気体燃料が供給される燃焼室を有し、前記気体燃料を燃焼させるエンジンシステムであって、
液体燃料を噴射して、前記気体燃料に着火する液体燃料噴射部と、
前記液体燃料噴射部を制御する制御部と
を備え、
前記制御部は、前記気体燃料の着火後の火炎伝播が終了した後に前記液体燃料の噴射を実行するように、前記液体燃料噴射部を制御し、
さらに、
所定期間において複数回の燃焼サイクルが実行され、
前記液体燃料噴射部は、前記燃焼サイクルごとに、前記気体燃料の着火と火炎伝播終了後の前記液体燃料の噴射とを実行し、
前記制御部は、前記所定期間内では、前記気体燃料に着火する際の前記液体燃料の噴射量の増加を禁止する、エンジンシステム。 - 前記制御部は、火炎伝播終了後の前記液体燃料の噴射が、前記気体燃料の燃焼期間のうちの前半の期間内で開始されるように、前記液体燃料噴射部を制御する、請求項1に記載のエンジンシステム。
- 前記気体燃料に着火する際の前記液体燃料の噴射量の増加とは、エンジンに対する負荷の上昇に応じた前記液体燃料の噴射量の増加のことであり、
前記所定期間は、10秒間を示す、請求項1に記載のエンジンシステム。 - 前記気体燃料の燃焼に起因して発生する排気物質を直接的又は間接的に示す物理量を計測する計測部を更に備え、
前記制御部は、前記計測部の計測結果に基づいて、火炎伝播終了後の前記液体燃料の噴射を制御する、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載のエンジンシステム。 - 前記制御部は、火炎伝播終了後に前記液体燃料を噴射する際の条件に応じて、前記燃焼室内の空気過剰率を制御する、請求項1から請求項4のいずれか1項に記載のエンジンシステム。
- 前記燃焼室内で移動するピストンを更に備え、
前記ピストンの移動方向に対する前記液体燃料の噴射角度は、30度以上65度以下を示す、請求項1から請求項5のいずれか1項に記載のエンジンシステム。 - 前記制御部は、火炎伝播終了後の前記液体燃料の噴射を、ピストンの上死点後において、クランク角度が30度以上60度未満の範囲で実行するように、前記液体燃料噴射部を制御する、請求項1から請求項6のいずれか1項に記載のエンジンシステム。
- 前記制御部は、火炎伝播終了後の前記液体燃料の噴射回数と、火炎伝播終了後の前記液体燃料の噴射量と、火炎伝播終了後の前記液体燃料の噴射タイミングとのうちの少なくとも1つを変更することで、エンジンからの排気物質の量を調整する、請求項1から請求項7のいずれか1項に記載のエンジンシステム。
- 空気及び気体燃料を燃焼室に供給して前記気体燃料を燃焼させるエンジンにおける気体燃料燃焼方法であって、
液体燃料を噴射して、前記気体燃料に着火するステップと、
前記気体燃料の着火後の火炎伝播が終了した後に、前記液体燃料の噴射を実行するステップと
を含み、
所定期間において複数回の燃焼サイクルが実行され、
前記燃焼サイクルごとに、前記気体燃料の着火と火炎伝播終了後の前記液体燃料の噴射とが実行され、
前記所定期間内では、前記気体燃料に着火する際の前記液体燃料の噴射量の増加が禁止される、気体燃料燃焼方法。 - 火炎伝播終了後の前記液体燃料の噴射は、前記気体燃料の燃焼期間のうちの前半の期間内で開始される、請求項9に記載の気体燃料燃焼方法。
- 前記気体燃料に着火する際の前記液体燃料の噴射量の増加とは、前記エンジンに対する負荷の上昇に応じた前記液体燃料の噴射量の増加のことであり、
前記所定期間は、10秒間を示す、請求項9に記載の気体燃料燃焼方法。 - 火炎伝播終了後の前記液体燃料の噴射は、ピストンの上死点後において、クランク角度が30度以上60度未満の範囲で実行される、請求項9から請求項11のいずれか1項に記載の気体燃料燃焼方法。
- 火炎伝播終了後の前記液体燃料の噴射回数と、火炎伝播終了後の前記液体燃料の噴射量と、火炎伝播終了後の前記液体燃料の噴射タイミングとのうちの少なくとも1つを変更することで、前記エンジンからの排気物質の量を調整する、請求項9から請求項12のいずれか1項に記載の気体燃料燃焼方法。
