Claims (16)
- エアロゾル発生システムであって、
液体エアロゾル形成基体を保持するための液体貯蔵部分と、
前記液体貯蔵部分に隣接して、またはその中に配置される一対の電極と、
前記液体貯蔵部分の配向を感知するように構成されたセンサーと、
前記一対の電極間の電気量を測定し、
前記センサーから配向情報を受信し、
前記一対の電極間で測定された電気量情報および前記センサーから受信した前記配向情報に基づいて、前記液体貯蔵部分内に保持されている液体エアロゾル形成基体の量を決定するように構成される制御システムと、を備え、
前記液体貯蔵部分が長さを有し、前記一対の電極が実質的に前記液体貯蔵部分の前記長さに沿って延在する、エアロゾル発生システム。 - 前記一対の電極が前記液体貯蔵部分を実質的に囲む、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。

前記液体貯蔵部分が不安定な状態にあると決定されるときに、前記液体貯蔵部分内に保持されている前記液体エアロゾル形成基体の量を決定することを防止するように構成される、請求項9または10に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。 - 前記液体貯蔵部分が、前記液体エアロゾル形成基体を保持するためのハウジングと、前記ハウジングの表面の一部の上に延在する一対の電極とを備える、請求項1~11のいずれかに記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記液体貯蔵部分の前記ハウジングが、二つの対向する端と、前記対向する端の間に延在する少なくとも一つの側壁と、を備え、
前記一対の電極が、実質的に前記液体貯蔵部分の前記ハウジングの前記一つ以上の側壁上に延在する、請求項12に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。 - 前記一対の電極が相互嵌合された電極である、請求項1~13のいずれかに記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記一対の電極が、前記液体貯蔵部分の少なくとも一部分が前記一対の電極間に配置されるように、前記液体貯蔵部分の前記ハウジング上に配置される、請求項12に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記液体貯蔵部分から液体エアロゾル形成基体を受けるように配置された、エアロゾル発生手段と、
前記エアロゾル発生手段に電力を供給するように配置された一つ以上の電力供給源と、をさらに備え、
前記制御システムが、前記液体貯蔵部分の前記決定された配向に基づいて、前記一つ以上の電力供給源から前記エアロゾル発生手段への電力供給を制御するようにさらに構成される、請求項1~15のいずれかに記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
