Description
本発明のまた別の態様は、以下のとおりであってもよい。
〔1〕アクリル系接着剤組成物であって、
アミノボラン開始剤ならびにアクリレートまたは/およびメタクリレートモノマーを含む第1の部分と、
硬化活性剤の不活性マイクロカプセルおよびアクリレートモノマーを含む第2の部分と、を含み、前記マイクロカプセルが破壊可能であるため、破壊されると前記第1の部分は前記第2の部分と反応し、前記アクリル系接着剤が硬化し始める、アクリル系接着剤組成物。
〔2〕前記硬化活性剤がカルボン酸である、前記〔1〕に記載のアクリル系接着剤組成物。
〔3〕前記カルボン酸が少なくとも6個の炭素原子および約0.1%未満の水溶性を有する、前記〔2〕に記載のアクリル系接着剤組成物。
〔4〕前記第1の部分と前記第2の部分との比が約1:10である、前記〔1〕に記載のアクリル系接着剤組成物。
〔5〕前記第2の部分が前記組成物の50体積%を超える、前記〔1〕に記載のアクリル系接着剤組成物。
〔6〕前記第2の部分が前記組成物の75体積%を超える、前記〔3〕に記載のアクリル系接着剤組成物。
〔7〕前記不活性マイクロカプセルが約15psiの圧力下で破壊可能である、前記〔1〕に記載のアクリル系接着剤組成物。
〔8〕前記不活性マイクロカプセルが約100psiの圧力下で破壊可能である、前記〔1〕に記載のアクリル系接着剤組成物。
〔9〕二液型構造用接着剤であって、
アミノボラン開始剤を含む懸濁液成分と、
カプセル化された成分を含むマイクロカプセルと、を含み、前記マイクロカプセルが前記懸濁液成分中に分散されている、二液型構造用接着剤。
〔10〕前記マイクロカプセルが破壊されたときに前記接着剤が室温で硬化可能である、前記〔9〕に記載の二液型構造用接着剤。
〔11〕前記マイクロカプセルが所定の圧力下で破壊可能である、前記〔10〕に記載の二液型構造用接着剤。
〔12〕前記マイクロカプセルが、前記第1の物質内に実質的に均一に分散されている、前記〔9〕に記載の二液型構造用接着剤。
〔13〕前記第2の物質が硬化活性剤を含む、前記〔9〕に記載の二液型構造用接着剤。
〔14〕前記硬化活性剤が、実質的に低い水混和性を有するカルボン酸を含む、前記〔13〕に記載の二液型構造用接着剤。
〔15〕アミノボラン開始剤懸濁液を活性化して構造用接着剤を形成する方法であって、
カプセル化された成分を含むマイクロカプセルを所定の比でアミノボラン開始剤懸濁液に添加することと、
前記マイクロカプセルを破壊して硬化を活性化させることと、を含む、方法。
〔16〕前記マイクロカプセルと前記アミノボラン開始剤懸濁液との所定の比が少なくとも約10:1である、前記〔15〕に記載の方法。
〔17〕前記マイクロカプセルを破壊することが、前記接着剤に所定の力を加えることを含む、前記〔15〕に記載の方法。
〔18〕前記所定の力が少なくとも約10psiである、前記〔17〕に記載の方法。
〔19〕前記所定の力が少なくとも約100psiである、前記〔17〕に記載の方法。
〔20〕前記マイクロカプセルを前記アミノボラン開始剤懸濁液に所望の均一性まで混合することをさらに含む、前記〔15〕に記載の方法。
Claims (10)
- 二液型構造用接着剤であって、
アミノボラン開始剤を含む懸濁液成分と、
水不溶性カルボン酸硬化活性剤からなるカプセル化された成分を含む、ゼラチン/アラビアゴム、ゼラチン-ポリリン酸、ポリ(スチレンスルホン酸)/ゼラチン、ヒドロキシプロピルセルロース、およびこれらの混合物の少なくとも一つで構成される破壊可能な不活性マイクロカプセルと、を含み、前記マイクロカプセルが前記懸濁液成分中に分散されており、前記懸濁液成分がメタクリレートモノマー又はアクリレートモノマーを含む、二液型構造用接着剤。 - 前記マイクロカプセルが破壊されたときに前記接着剤が室温で硬化可能である、請求項1に記載の二液型構造用接着剤。
- 前記マイクロカプセルが、前記懸濁液成分内に均一に分散されている、請求項1に記載の二液型構造用接着剤。
- 前記硬化活性剤が、低い水混和性を有するカルボン酸を含む、請求項1に記載の二液型構造用接着剤。
- 前記構造用接着剤の硬化時間が1秒未満である、請求項1に記載の二型構造用接着剤。
- 硬化時間が5秒未満である、請求項1に記載の二型構造用接着剤。
- 前記懸濁液成分と前記カプセル化された成分の比が100:1~1:100の範囲である、請求項1に記載の二型構造用接着剤。
- 前記破壊可能な不活性マイクロカプセルが3μmの壁厚を有する、請求項1に記載の二型構造用接着剤。
- 前記破壊可能な不活性マイクロカプセルが68.9~103.4kPa(10~15ポンド毎平方インチ(psi))の範囲の破壊圧力を有する、請求項1に記載の二型構造用接着剤。
- 前記破壊可能な不活性マイクロカプセルが689.5kPa(100ポンド毎平方インチ(psi))の破壊圧力を有する、請求項1に記載の二型構造用接着剤。
