Claims (19)
- 第1波長帯域の偏光を第1偏光に変換させる第1波長選択偏光子と、
前記第1波長選択偏光子から入射された光を偏向させるものであり、液晶分子を具備し、可変される第1光路変換面を有する第1液晶偏向部と、
前記第1光路変換面が調節されるように、前記第1液晶偏向部を制御する制御部と、を含み、
前記第1液晶偏向部を通過した光の光路上に配置されたものであり、第2波長帯域の光の偏光を第1偏光に変換させる第2波長選択偏光子と、
前記第2波長選択偏光子から入射された光を偏向させるものであり、液晶分子を具備し、可変される第2光路変換面を有する第2液晶偏向部と、をさらに含むことを特徴とするビーム偏向器。 - 前記液晶分子は、長軸方向が、前記第1偏光の方向である第1偏向方向と平行であるモードに初期配列されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のビーム偏向器。
- 前記第1波長選択偏光子に、前記第1偏光と垂直である第2偏光の光が入射されるように、第2偏光方向の偏光軸を有する偏光子をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載のビーム偏向器。
- 前記第1液晶偏向部は、
前記液晶分子を挟んで離隔配置された第1電極部及び第2電極部をさらに含み、

- 前記第1液晶偏向部上に配置され、液晶分子を具備し、前記第1光路変換面に対して可変軸が互いに異なるように可変される第1-2光路変換面を有する第1-2液晶偏向部をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載のビーム偏向器。
- 前記制御部は、前記第1光路変換面が互いに異なる角度に傾いた2面を含む形状になるように制御し、前記第1液晶偏向部に入射された光を2方向に分岐して偏向させることを特徴とする請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載のビーム偏向器。
- 前記第2液晶偏向部を通過した光の光路上に配置されたものであり、第3波長帯域の光の偏光を第1偏光に変換させる第3波長選択偏光子と、
前記第3波長選択偏光子から入射された光を偏向させるものであり、液晶分子を具備し、可変される第3光路変換面を有する第3液晶偏向部と、をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のビーム偏向器。 - 前記第1波長選択偏光子に、前記第1偏光と垂直である第2偏光の光が入射されるように、第2偏光方向の偏光軸を有する偏光子をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1または8に記載のビーム偏向器。
- 前記制御部は、
前記第1光路変換面、前記第2光路変換面、及び前記第3光路変換面がそれぞれ第1波長帯域の第1偏光の光、第2波長帯域の第1偏光の光、及び第3波長帯域の第1偏光の光を互いに同じ第1方向に偏向させるように互いに異なる角度に傾くように、前記第1液晶偏向部、前記第2液晶偏向部、及び前記第3液晶偏向部を制御することを特徴とする請求項8に記載のビーム偏向器。 - 前記第1液晶偏向部、前記第2液晶偏向部、及び前記第3液晶偏向部により、前記第1方向に偏向された光を異なる方向に変換する光路変換部材をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載のビーム偏向器。
- 前記制御部は、
前記第1光路変換面が互いに異なる角度に傾いた2面を含む形状になるように制御し、前記第1液晶偏向部に入射された光を2方向に分岐して偏向させ、
前記第2光路変換面が互いに異なる角度に傾いた2面を含む形状になるように制御し、前記第2液晶偏向部に入射された光を前記2方向に分岐して偏向させ、
前記第3光路変換面が互いに異なる角度に傾いた2面を含む形状になるように制御し、前記第3液晶偏向部に入射された光を前記2方向に分岐して偏向させることを特徴とする請求項8、10、11のいずれか一項に記載のビーム偏向器。 - 前記第1液晶偏向部、前記第2液晶偏向部、及び前記第3液晶偏向部により、前記2方向に偏向された光を異なる方向に変換する光路変換部材をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項12に記載のビーム偏向器。
- 複数の波長帯域を含む可干渉性光ビームを提供する光源と、
前記光源からの光を偏向させるものであり、第1波長帯域の光の偏光を第1偏光に変換させる第1波長選択偏光子と、
前記第1波長選択偏光子から入射された光を偏向させるものであり、液晶分子を具備し、可変される第1光路変換面を有する第1液晶偏向部と、
前記第1液晶偏向部を通過した光の光路上に配置され、第2波長帯域の光の偏光を第1偏光に変換させる第2波長選択偏光子と、
前記第2波長選択偏光子から入射された光を偏向させるものであり、液晶分子を具備し、可変される第2光路変換面を有する第2液晶偏向部と、
前記第2液晶偏向部を通過した光の光路上に配置され、第3波長帯域の光の偏光を第1偏光に変換させる第3波長選択偏光子と、
前記第3波長選択偏光子から入射された光を偏向させるものであり、液晶分子を具備し、可変される第3光路変換面を有する第3液晶偏向部を含むビーム偏向器と、
前記ビーム偏向器で光を偏向させる方向を制御する制御部と、
入射光を回折させてホログラム映像を形成する空間光変調器と、を含む三次元ディスプレイ装置。 - 前記第1液晶偏向部、前記第2液晶偏向部、及び前記第3液晶偏向部の液晶分子は、長軸方向が、前記第1偏光の方向である第1偏向と平行であるモードに初期配列されることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の三次元ディスプレイ装置。
- 前記光源と前記ビーム偏向器との間に配置され、前記第1偏光と垂直である第2偏光方向の偏光軸を有する偏光子をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項14または15に記載の三次元ディスプレイ装置。
- 前記ビーム偏向器は、
前記第1液晶偏向部上に配置され、液晶分子を具備し、前記第1光路変換面に対して可変軸が互いに異なるように可変される第1-2光路変換面を有する第1-2液晶偏向部と、
前記第2液晶偏向部上に配置され、液晶分子を具備し、前記第2光路変換面に対して可変軸が互いに異なるように可変される第2-2光路変換面を有する第2-2液晶偏向部と、
前記第3液晶偏向部上に配置され、液晶分子を具備し、前記第3光路変換面に対して可変軸が互いに異なるように可変される第3-2光路変換面を有する第3-2液晶偏向部と、をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項14~16のいずれか一項に記載の三次元ディスプレイ装置。 - 前記制御部は、
前記第1光路変換面が互いに異なる角度に傾いた2面を含む形状になるように制御し、前記第1液晶偏向部に入射された光を2方向に分岐して偏向させ、
前記第2光路変換面が互いに異なる角度に傾いた2面を含む形状になるように制御し、前記第2液晶偏向部に入射された光を前記2方向に分岐して偏向させ、
前記第3光路変換面が互いに異なる角度に傾いた2面を含む形状になるように制御し、前記第3液晶偏向部に入射された光を前記2方向に分岐して偏向させることを特徴とする請求項14~17のいずれか一項に記載の三次元ディスプレイ装置。 - 前記制御部は、
前記ビーム偏向器が光を偏向させる方向が、時系列的に、視聴者の左目に向かう方向、及び右目に向かう方向になるように、前記ビーム偏向器を制御することを特徴とする請求項14~17のいずれか一項に記載の三次元ディスプレイ装置。
