BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[overall structure]
FIG. 1 shows the configuration of a remote teaching system to which the present invention is applied. A

The
The

[Management server configuration]
FIG. 2 is a block diagram showing the internal configuration of the
The
The
The
The
The number-of-entry-

The

[Determination of the number of entries]
(Method for judging the number of entries)
Next, a method for determining the number of entry items will be described in detail. FIG. 3 shows an example of an
In this example, students are required to describe each item of opinions, grounds, examples, and conclusions in relation to each other. In the
FIG. 4 shows entries in the example answer sheet of FIG. Each
Normally, when correcting answers to descriptive questions, it is often the case that the number of entries is counted as well as the content of entries is examined. For example, points are assigned to each entry item, and points are added when the required number of entry items is entered. Therefore, in this embodiment, the number of items to be entered in each entry field as shown in FIG. 3 is determined based on the entry data D1, thereby assisting the teacher's correction work. Specifically, first, the entry time data included in the entry data D1 is referenced to detect a non-entry period. Then, the entry content is divided into a plurality of entry items by using a non-entry period longer than a predetermined reference time as a delimiter of the entry items. Thereby, the number of entry items included in the entry data can be determined.
FIG. 4 conceptually shows the
(Adjustment of reference time)
As described above, the
Moreover, it is preferable to adjust the reference time as necessary. As a first method, the reference time may be changed for each entry column of the answer sheet. For example, in the example of the answer sheet shown in FIG. 3, the amount to be filled in in the opinion entry column A is small, and it is preferable for the students to fill in as quickly as possible, so the reference time is shortened. On the other hand, the case entry column B has a relatively large amount of information to be filled in, and it is preferable that the students should carefully consider and fill it out.
As a second method, the reference time may be adjusted according to the student taking the test, the class, or the academic level of the school. For example, if the academic level of a student, class, or school is high, the reference time is shortened, and if the academic level is low, the reference time is lengthened.
As a third method, the reference time may be adjusted according to the difficulty of the test questions. For example, a difficulty level is set for each question, and the reference time is adjusted according to the difficulty level. Specifically, the difficulty level of each question is divided into three categories: "high", "standard", and "low". For questions of degree, the reference time may be shorter than for questions of standard difficulty.
[Correction support processing]
Next, correction support processing will be described. FIG. 5 is a flowchart of correction support processing. This processing is executed by the
First, the
Next, the
Next, the
Next, the
Further, the correction unit 26 may perform scoring based on rules prepared in advance based on the number of entries determined by the number-of-
Next, the
FIG. 6 shows a display example of an answer image on the teacher's
[Line detection processing]
Next, the process of detecting oblique lines and lines (hereinafter collectively referred to as "line segments") written on the answer sheet will be described. A line segment having a specific meaning may be written on the answer sheet, and if the intention of the student is clear, it is convenient to detect the line segment and reflect the intention. Usually, as line segments to be written on the answer sheet, a strike-through line and a linking line are assumed.
(strikethrough)
A strike-through line is a line intended to cancel (cancel) items that have already been entered. FIG. 7 shows an example of an answer sheet with a strike-through line. A strike-through
Condition 1: The entered line segment has a length corresponding to the diagonal line of one entry field or a plurality of adjacent entry fields.
Condition 2: The filled line segment has an angle corresponding to the diagonal line of one entry field or a plurality of adjacent entry fields.
Condition 3: The entered line segment passes through the vicinity of the diagonal position of a rectangular area composed of one entry field or a plurality of adjacent entry fields.
Since the positional coordinates of each entry column provided on the answer sheet are stored in the
(association line)
An association line is a line that indicates that items entered in a plurality of entry fields are related to each other. FIG. 8 shows an example of an answer sheet in which association lines are entered. A linking
Condition 4: A line segment spans multiple adjacent entry fields, and the length of the line segment is shorter than the size (vertical or horizontal length) of the entry field.
