50質量部の、シクロデキストリンの水酸基の少なくとも一部が-O-C3H6-O-基を介してカプロラクトン鎖によって変性されたポリロタキサン(アドバンスト・ソフトマテリアル社製の商品名「セルムスーパーポリマーSH3400P」、直鎖状分子:ポリエチレングリコール、封鎖基:アダマンタン基、直鎖状分子の分子量:35,000、水酸基価:72mgKOH/g、重量平均分子量:700,000)、28質量部のポリカプロラクトンポリオール(ダイセル社の商品名「Placcel 308」、水酸基価:190-200mgKOH/g)、22質量部の塩化ビニル・酢酸ビニル・ビニルアルコール共重合体(日信化学工業社の商品名「ソルバインAL」、水酸基価:63.4mgKOH/g)、0.1質量部の変性シリコーン(Gelest社の商品名「DBL-C31」)、0.01質量部のジブチル錫ジラウレート及び100質量部の混合溶剤(キシレン/メチルエチルケトン、質量比:70/30)を混合し、ポリオール組成物No.2を主剤として得た。
[ポリイソシアネート組成物No.1]
30質量部のヘキサメチレンジイソシアネートのイソシアヌレート変性体(旭化成ケミカルズ社の商品名「デュラネートTKA-100」、NCO含有率:21.7質量%)、30質量部のヘキサメチレンジイソシアネートのビュレット変性体(旭化成ケミカルズ社の商品名「デュラネート21S-75E」、NCO含有率:15.5質量%)、及び40質量部のイソホロンジイソシアネートのイソシアヌレート変性体(BAYER社の商品名「デスモジュールZ4470」、NCO含有率:11.9質量%)を混合した。この混合物に、溶媒として、メチルエチルケトン、酢酸n-ブチル及びトルエンを添加して混合することにより、ポリイソシアネート組成物No.1を、硬化剤として得た。この組成物におけるポリイソシアネート成分の濃度は、60質量%であった。
100質量部の、ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネートのビュレット変性体(前述の「デュラネート21S-75E」、NCO含有率:15.5質量%)及び100質量部のメチルエチルケトンを混合することにより、ポリイソシアネート組成物No.2を硬化剤として得た。
100質量部の、トルエンジイソシアネートのイソシアヌレート変性体(住化コベストロウレタン社の商品名「デスモジュールIL1451」、NCO含有率:7.4質量%)及び100質量部のメチルエチルケトンを混合することにより、ポリイソシアネート組成物No.3を硬化剤として得た。
50質量部のヘキサメチレンジイソシアネートのイソシアヌレート変性体(旭化成ケミカルズ社の商品名「デュラネートTKA-100」、NCO含有率:21.7質量%)、及び50質量部のイソホロンジイソシアネートのイソシアヌレート変性体(デグサ社の商品名「VESTANATT1890」、NCO含有率:12.0質量%)を混合した。この混合物に、溶媒として、メチルエチルケトンを添加して混合することにより、ポリイソシアネート組成物No.4を、硬化剤として得た。
100質量部のハイシスポリブタジエン(JSR社の商品名「BR-730」)、31質量部のアクリル酸亜鉛(三新化学工業社の「サンセラーSR」)、10質量部の酸化亜鉛(東邦亜鉛社の商品名「銀嶺R」)、0.4質量部のPBDS(川口化学工業社製のビス(ペンタブロモフェニル)ジスルフィド)、2質量部の安息香酸(Emerald Kalama Chemical 社製)、0.6質量部のジクミルパーオキサイド(日本油脂社の商品名「パークミルD」)及び適量の硫酸バリウム(堺化学社の商品名「硫酸バリウムBD」)を混練し、ゴム組成物Aを得た。このゴム組成物Aを共に半球状キャビティを備えた上型及び下型からなる金型に投入し、155℃の温度下で18分間加熱して、直径が39.7mmであるコアを得た。所定の質量のコアが得られるように、硫酸バリウムの量を調整した。
ペイント層の仕様を下表3-6に示される通りとした他は実施例1と同様にして、実施例2-16及び比較例1、3-5のゴルフボールを得た。内層及び外層の塗料組成物の詳細が、下表1及び2に示されている。
100質量部のハイシスポリブタジエン(JSR社の商品名「BR-730」)、30.5質量部のアクリル酸亜鉛(三新化学工業社の「サンセラーSR」)、10質量部の酸化亜鉛(東邦亜鉛社の商品名「銀嶺R」)、適量の硫酸バリウム(堺化学社の商品名「硫酸バリウムBD」)、0.1質量部の2-チオナフトール(東京化成工業社)、0.3質量部のビス(ペンタブロモフェニル)ジスルフィド(PBPS)(川口化学工業社)、0.7質量部のジクミルパーオキサイド(日本油脂社の商品名「パークミルD」)及び2質量部の安息香酸(東京化成工業社)を混練し、ゴム組成物を得た。このゴム組成物Bを共に半球状キャビティを備えた上型及び下型からなる金型に投入し、150℃の温度下で19分間加熱して、直径が39.7mmであるコアを得た。所定の質量のコアが得られるように、硫酸バリウムの量を調整した。
ゴルフラボラトリー社のスイングマシンに、ミドルアイアン(ダンロップスポーツ社の商品名「XXIO」、シャフト硬度:R、ロフト角:24.0°)を装着した。ヘッド速度が38m/secである条件で、実施例2-16及び比較例1-5のゴルフボールを打撃して、打撃直後のスピン速度(rpm)を測定した。10回測定されて得られたデータの平均値が、下表3-6に示されている。
10名のプレーヤー(上級者)にサンドウエッジ(クリーブランドゴルフ社の商品名「CG15フォージドウエッジ」、ロフト角:58°)にて、実施例2-16及び比較例1-5のゴルフボールを打撃させ、打球感を聞き取った。打球感が良好である(「フェースに乗っている感じがして良い」、「スピンがきく感じがして良い」、「くっつく感じがして良い」等)と答えたプレーヤーの数に基づき、下記の格付けを行った。この結果が、下表3-6に示されている。

Claims (7)
- 本体と、この本体の外側に位置するペイント層とを備えたゴルフボールであって、
上記ペイント層が、内層と、この内層の外側に位置する外層とを有しており、
上記ゴルフボールの中心を通過する平面に沿った断面において、この断面に垂直な方向に30mgfの力が加えられたときの押し込み深さ(nm)が測定されるとき、上記内層の断面における押し込み深さDiが、上記外層の断面における押し込み深さDoよりも小さく、
上記外層の厚みToが、上記内層の厚みTiよりも大きく、
上記厚みToと上記厚みTiとの差(To-Ti)が、3μm以上17μm以下であり、上記厚みToが、8μm以上20μm以下であるゴルフボール。 - 上記押し込み深さDoが、1000nm以上3500nm以下である請求項1に記載のゴルフボール。
- 上記押し込み深さDiが、100nm以上1000nm未満である請求項1又は2に記載のゴルフボール。
- 上記厚みTiが、1μm以上10μm以下である請求項1から3のいずれかに記載のゴルフボール。
- 上記押し込み深さDoと上記押し込み深さDiとの差(Do-Di)が、1000nm以上3100nm以下である請求項1から4のいずれかに記載のゴルフボール。
- 上記外層が、ポリロタキサンを含む主剤と、ポリイソシアネート化合物を含む硬化剤とからなる塗料組成物から形成されたものであり、
上記ポリロタキサンが、シクロデキストリンと、このシクロデキストリンの環状構造を貫通する直鎖状分子と、この直鎖状分子の両末端に配置され上記シクロデキストリンの脱離を防止する封鎖基とを有しており、
上記シクロデキストリンの水酸基の少なくとも一部が、-O-C3H6-O-基を介してカプロラクトン鎖によって変性されている請求項1か5のいずれかに記載のゴルフボール。 - 上記ポリロタキサンを含む主剤が有する水酸基(OH基)と、上記ポリイソシアネート化合物を含む硬化剤が有するイソシアネート基(NCO基)とのモル比(NCO/OH)が、1.0以上2.0以下である請求項6に記載のゴルフボール。
