Claims (7)
- 複数のバッテリーセルが積層されたバッテリーセル積層体と、
互いに実質的に同じ形状を有する複数の火炎伝播防止部材であって、各火炎伝播防止部材が前記バッテリーセルの各々の少なくとも一部を覆う、複数の火炎伝播防止部材(110℃以上200℃未満の温度で発泡可能な発泡材料を含むものを除く)と、
前記火炎伝播防止部材によって覆われる前記バッテリーセル積層体が収納されるケースと、を含み、
前記バッテリーセルの各々の少なくとも3面が前記火炎伝播防止部材によって囲まれ、
隣り合う前記バッテリーセルの間には前記火炎伝播防止部材のみが配置される、バッテリーモジュール。 - 前記火炎伝播防止部材は、断熱性及び耐熱性を兼備した雲母を含む雲母プレートを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- パウチ型バッテリーセルが前記火炎伝播防止部材に挿入されるように、前記火炎伝播防止部材の内部に中空が形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記バッテリーセルは、断面が四角形であるパウチ型バッテリーセルであり、前記火炎伝播防止部材は、六面体の形状に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記バッテリーセルは、断面が四角形であるパウチ型バッテリーセルであり、
前記火炎伝播防止部材は、前記パウチ型バッテリーセルの二つの壁面を覆うように設けられることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記火炎伝播防止部材は、
前記パウチ型バッテリーセルの第1壁面を覆う第1カバー部と、
前記第1カバー部から折り曲げられて形成され、前記パウチ型バッテリーセルの第2壁面をカバーする第2カバー部と、を含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 請求項1から請求項6のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュールを含む、バッテリーパック。
