Description
‐繊維及び/又はフィブリル及び界面活性剤を含む完成紙料を提供する、
‐前記完成紙料をワイヤーに塗布してウェブを形成する、
‐前記ウェブから白水を排出する、
‐ミクロフィブリル化セルロース(MFC)又はナノ結晶セルロース(NCC)を前記白水に添加し、それによって前記界面活性剤が前記MFC又はNCCに結合するか又は物理的に相互作用して複合体を形成する、
‐前記複合体を完成紙料及び/又はウェブにリサイクルする。
ミクロフィブリル化セルロース(MFC)は、特許出願の文脈においては、100nm未満の少なくとも1つの寸法を有するナノスケールのセルロース粒子繊維又はフィブリルを意味するものとする。MFCは、部分的又は全体的にフィブリル化されたセルロース又はリグノセルロース繊維を含む。遊離フィブリルは100nm未満の直径を有するが、実際のフィブリル直径又は粒子サイズ分布及び/又はアスペクト比(長さ/幅)は供給源及び製造方法に依存する。最小のフィブリルは基本フィブリルと呼ばれ、約2~4nmの直径を有する(例えば、Chinga‐Carrasco、G.、Cellulose fibres, nanofibrils and microfibrils,: The morphological sequence of MFC components from a plant physiology and fibre technology point of view(セルロース繊維、ナノフィブリル及びミクロフィブリル:植物生理学及び繊維技術の視点からのMFC成分の形態学的配列)Nanoscale research letters 2011,6:417を参照のこと)。一方、ミクロフィブリルとしても定義される基本形態の原線維の凝集形態がMFCを作るときに、例えば拡張精製プロセス又は圧力降下崩壊プロセスを使用することによって得られる主な製品であることは一般的である(Fengel、D.、Ultrastructural behavior of cell wall polysaccharides(細胞壁多糖類の超微細構造挙動)、Tappi J.、1970年3月、Vol53、No.3)。供給源及び製造方法に応じて、フィブリルの長さは、約1マイクロメートルから10マイクロメートル超まで変化し得る。粗いMFCグレードは、かなりの割合のフィブリル化繊維、すなわち、気管から突き出たフィブリル(セルロース繊維)を含み、そしてある程度の量のフィブリルが気管から遊離している(セルロース繊維)。
Claims (13)
- 繊維及び/又はフィブリルを含む連続ウェブを形成する方法であって、以下の工程を含み、
‐繊維及び/又はフィブリル及び界面活性剤を含む完成紙料を提供する、
‐前記完成紙料をワイヤーに塗布してウェブを形成する、
‐前記ウェブから白水を排出する、
‐ミクロフィブリル化セルロース(MFC)及び/又はナノ結晶セルロース(NCC)を前記白水に添加し、それによって前記界面活性剤が前記MFC又はNCCに結合又は物理的に相互作用して複合体を形成する、
‐前記複合体を完成紙料及び/又はウェブにリサイクルする、
ここで、MFC又はNCC及び界面活性剤を含む前記複合体が、完成紙料にリサイクルされる前に白水の少なくとも一部から分離される、上記方法。 - MFC又はNCCが、BET法に従って窒素ガスを吸着させることにより凍結乾燥材料について測定した場合、少なくとも5m2/gの比表面積を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 凝固剤が、MFC又はNCCに加えて白水に添加される、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 凝固剤が、ミョウバン、ポリ塩化アルミニウム(PAC)、塩化ポリジアリルジメチルアンモニウム(ポリ‐DADMAC)、ポリアミン及び硫酸第二鉄からなる群から選択される、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 界面活性剤がカチオン性又は両性界面活性剤であり、MFC又はNCCが未修飾である、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 界面活性剤がアニオン性界面活性剤であり、MFC又はNCCがカチオン性である、請求項1~4のいずれか一項記載の方法。
- 界面活性剤が非イオン性界面活性剤であり、そしてMFC、NFC又はNCCが疎水性又は天然である、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記複合体は、ウェブ上に塗布されたコーティング又は表面サイジング組成物に複合体を添加することによってウェブにリサイクルされ、前記コーティング又は表面サイジング組成物がさらに金属塩を含む、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 界面活性剤を含む完成紙料が発泡完成紙料である、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載のウェブを形成する方法。
- 前記ウェブが紙又は板紙プライである、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載のウェブを形成する方法。
- 前記ウェブがMFCフィルムである、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載のウェブを形成する方法。
- 前記ウェブが不織布である、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載のウェブを形成する方法。
- 繊維及び/又はフィブリルを含む完成紙料から界面活性剤を吸着及び分離するための、ミクロフィブリル化セルロース繊維(MFC)又はナノ結晶セルロース(NCC)の使用。
