Description
4層積層体は、アルミニウム層(層1)、2つのガラス複合材層(副層2‐3、及び12‐13)、及び炭素複合材層(副層4‐11)を含んでもよい。炭素複合材層は、疑似等方性強度特性(quasi-isotropic strength property)を示し得る。以下の表では、各ガラス複合材層は、2つの副層を含み、炭素複合材層は、8つの副層を含む。
4層積層体は、アルミニウム層(層1)、2つのガラス複合材層(副層2‐3、及び20‐21)、及び炭素複合材層(副層4‐19)を含んでもよい。炭素複合材層は、疑似等方性強度特性を示し得る。以下の表では、各ガラス複合材層は、2つの副層を含み、炭素複合材層は、16の副層を含む。
4層積層体は、アルミニウム層(層1)、2つのガラス複合材層(副層2‐3、及び12‐13)、及び炭素複合材層(副層4‐11)を含んでもよい。炭素複合材層は、疑似等方性強度特性を示し得る。以下の表では、各ガラス複合材層は、2つの副層を含み、炭素複合材層は、8つの副層を含む。

前記第1の熱可塑性樹脂が、前記第1のガラス複合材層と前記第1の炭素複合材層とを接合する、条項1に記載の系。
前記第1の熱可塑性樹脂が、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン(PEEK)又はポリエーテルケトンケトン(PEKK)を含む、条項1又は2に記載の系。
前記第1の炭素複合材層が、第2の熱可塑性樹脂を含む、条項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の系。
前記第2の熱可塑性樹脂が、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン(PEEK)又はポリエーテルケトンケトン(PEKK)を含む、条項4に記載の系。
前記第1の熱可塑性樹脂が、前記第2の熱可塑性樹脂と同じである、条項4に記載の系。
前記第1の熱可塑性樹脂が、前記第2の熱可塑性樹脂と異なる、条項4に記載の系。
前記第1の炭素複合材層に隣接し、且つ前記第1のガラス複合材層とは反対側の第2のガラス複合材層をさらに含む、条項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の系。
前記第2のガラス複合材層に隣接し、且つ前記第1の炭素複合材層とは反対側の第2のアルミニウム層をさらに含む、条項8に記載の系。
前記第2のガラス複合材層に隣接し、且つ前記第1の炭素複合材層とは反対側の第2の炭素複合材層をさらに含む、条項8又は9に記載の系。
前記第1のアルミニウム層が、複数の第1のアルミニウム副層を含む、条項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の系。
前記第1のガラス複合材層が、複数の第1のガラス複合材副層を含む、条項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の系。
前記第1の炭素複合材層が、複数の第1の炭素複合材副層を含む、条項1から12のいずれか一項に記載の系。
前記第1のガラス複合材層が、織りガラスを含み、前記第1のガラス複合材層の強度が、前記織りガラスの配向によって変動する、条項1から13のいずれか一項に記載の系。
材料系を製造する方法であって、積層体の中でアルミニウム層がガラス複合材層に隣接し、前記積層体の中で前記ガラス複合材層が炭素複合材層に隣接するように、前記アルミニウム層、1つ又は複数の熱可塑性プリプレグプライを含む前記ガラス複合材層、及び前記炭素複合材層を積層することと、前記アルミニウム層を軟化させるのに十分な温度で前記1つ又は複数の熱可塑性プリプレグプライを一体化することとを含む方法。
前記1つ又は複数の熱可塑性プリプレグプライが、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン(PEEK)又はポリエーテルケトンケトン(PEKK)を含む、条項15に記載の方法。
前記1つ又は複数の熱可塑性プリプレグプライを一体化することが、前記1つ又は複数の熱可塑性プリプレグプライの温度を600°F以上まで上昇させることを含む、条項15又は16に記載の方法。
前記1つ又は複数の熱可塑性プリプレグプライを一体化することが、前記積層体の温度を600°F以上まで上昇させることを含む、条項15又は16に記載の方法。
材料系を製造する方法であって、積層体の中でガラス複合材層がアルミニウム層と炭素複合材層との間にあるように、前記アルミニウム層、熱可塑性樹脂を含む前記ガラス複合材層、及び前記炭素複合材層を積層することと、前記積層体を一体化するように、前記積層体の温度及び圧力を調節することとを含む方法。
前記熱可塑性樹脂が、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン(PEEK)又はポリエーテルケトンケトン(PEKK)を含む、条項19に記載の方法。
Claims (17)
- 材料系であって、アルミニウム層(202A)、
前記アルミニウム層に隣接するガラス複合材層(204A)、及び
前記ガラス複合材層に隣接し、且つ前記アルミニウム層とは反対側の炭素複合材層(206A)
からなり、
前記アルミニウム層が前記ガラス複合材層に直接接触しており、
前記ガラス複合材層が、第1の熱可塑性樹脂を含み、
前記炭素複合材層が少なくとも副層の第1の組および第2の組を含み、前記副層の前記第1の組および前記第2の組がいずれも、連続した第1、第2および第3の炭素複合材副層を含み、前記第2の炭素複合材副層が、前記第1の炭素複合材副層および前記第3の炭素複合材副層の間にあり、
前記第1の炭素複合材副層が0゜の配向を有する繊維を含み、
前記第2の炭素複合材副層が90゜の配向を有する繊維を含み、
前記第3の炭素複合材副層が+45゜の配向を有する繊維を含み、
炭素複合材層が面対称積層構造を形成している、
材料系。 - 前記第1の熱可塑性樹脂が、前記ガラス複合材層(204A)と前記炭素複合材層(206A)とを接合する、請求項1に記載の系。
- 前記第1の熱可塑性樹脂が、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン(PEEK)又はポリエーテルケトンケトン(PEKK)を含む、請求項1又は2に記載の系。
- 前記炭素複合材層(206A)が、第2の熱可塑性樹脂を含む、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の系。
- 前記第2の熱可塑性樹脂が、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン(PEEK)又はポリエーテルケトンケトン(PEKK)を含む、請求項4に記載の系。
- 前記第1の熱可塑性樹脂が、前記第2の熱可塑性樹脂と同じである、請求項4に記載の系。
- 前記第1の熱可塑性樹脂が、前記第2の熱可塑性樹脂と異なる、請求項4に記載の系。
- 前記アルミニウム層(202A)が、複数のアルミニウム副層を含む、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の系。
- 前記ガラス複合材層(204A)が、複数のガラス複合材副層を含む、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の系。
- 前記ガラス複合材層(204A)が、織りガラスを含み、
前記ガラス複合材層の強度が、前記織りガラスの配向によって変動する、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の系。 - 材料系を製造する方法であって、
積層体の中でアルミニウム層がガラス複合材層に隣接し、前記積層体の中で前記ガラス複合材層が炭素複合材層に隣接するように、前記アルミニウム層(202A)、1つ又は複数の熱可塑性プリプレグプライを含む前記ガラス複合材層(204A)、及び前記炭素複合材層(206A)を積層することと、
前記アルミニウム層を軟化させるのに十分な温度で前記1つ又は複数の熱可塑性プリプレグプライを一体化することと
を含み、
前記アルミニウム層が前記ガラス複合材層に直接接触しており、
前記炭素複合材層が少なくとも副層の第1の組および第2の組を含み、前記副層の前記第1の組および前記副層の第2の組がいずれも、連続した第1、第2および第3の炭素複合材副層を含み、
前記第2の炭素複合材副層が、前記第1の炭素複合材副層および前記第3の炭素複合材副層の間にあり、
前記第1の炭素複合材副層が0゜の配向を有する繊維を含み、
前記第2の炭素複合材副層が90゜の配向を有する繊維を含み、
前記第3の炭素複合材副層が+45゜の配向を有する繊維を含み、
炭素複合材層が面対称積層構造を形成している、
方法。 - 前記1つ又は複数の熱可塑性プリプレグプライが、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン(PEEK)又はポリエーテルケトンケトン(PEKK)を含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記1つ又は複数の熱可塑性プリプレグプライを一体化することが、前記1つ又は複数の熱可塑性プリプレグプライの温度を600°F以上まで上昇させることを含む、請求項11又は12に記載の方法。
- 前記1つ又は複数の熱可塑性プリプレグプライを一体化することが、前記積層体の温度を600°F以上まで上昇させることを含む、請求項11又は12に記載の方法。
- 材料系であって、
第1のアルミニウム層(202A)、
前記第1のアルミニウム層に隣接する第1のガラス複合材層(204A)、
前記第1のガラス複合材層に隣接し、且つ前記第1のアルミニウム層とは反対側の第1の炭素複合材層(206A)、及び
前記第1の炭素複合材層(206A)に隣接し、且つ前記第1のガラス複合材層(204A)とは反対側の第2のガラス複合材層(208A)
を含み、前記第1のガラス複合材層が、第1の熱可塑性樹脂を含み、且つ
前記第1の熱可塑性樹脂が、前記第1のアルミニウム層と前記第1のガラス複合材層とを接合する、材料系。 - 前記第2のガラス複合材層に隣接し、且つ前記第1の炭素複合材層とは反対側の第2のアルミニウム層(210B)をさらに含む、請求項15に記載の系。
- 前記第2のガラス複合材層に隣接し、且つ前記第1の炭素複合材層とは反対側の第2の炭素複合材層(212C)をさらに含む、請求項15に記載の系。
