Description
The present disclosure relates to control devices.
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2002-200000 discloses a vehicle control device in which a semiconductor switch is provided with a failure diagnosis unit in a switching circuit including the semiconductor switch for controlling a large current to be supplied to a load. The failure diagnosis unit diagnoses the presence or absence of a malfunction of the semiconductor switch by judging the consistency between the ON/OFF control signal input to the semiconductor switch and the output level of the semiconductor switch.
However, in the vehicle control device according to
For example, if a switching circuit is used to open and close a starter having a capacitor and an on-board battery, even if the switching circuit is turned off, the capacitor is discharged, and it takes time for the voltage to drop. As a result, it takes time to diagnose whether the switching circuit is operating normally.
An object of the present disclosure is to provide a control device that can efficiently discharge a capacitor when a capacitor is connected to an in-vehicle device that is subject to switching control, and can quickly determine whether there is a failure in the switching circuit. to do.
A control device according to this aspect includes a switching circuit having a semiconductor switch, an in-vehicle device having a capacitor connected to one end of the switching circuit by controlling on/off of the switching circuit, and a switching circuit other than the switching circuit. A control device for a vehicle that opens and closes between an in-vehicle battery connected to an end portion and comprising a wiring for applying a drive voltage for turning on the semiconductor switch to a gate of the semiconductor switch, and the wiring. a drive switch for short-circuiting and turning off the semiconductor switch, a Zener diode having an anode connected to the one end and a cathode connected to the wiring, a voltage detection unit for detecting a voltage at the one end, a control unit that controls the drive switch from off to on, and determines whether or not there is a failure in the switching circuit by comparing the voltage detected by the voltage detection unit with a predetermined threshold value.
According to the above, when the capacitor of the in-vehicle device to be subjected to switching control is connected, the capacitor can be efficiently discharged, and the presence or absence of failure of the switching circuit can be determined in a short time. becomes possible.

[Description of Embodiments of the Present Disclosure]
First, the embodiments of the present disclosure are listed and described. Moreover, at least part of the embodiments described below may be combined arbitrarily.
(1) A control device according to this aspect includes a switching circuit having a semiconductor switch, and an in-vehicle device having a capacitor connected to one end of the switching circuit by controlling on/off of the switching circuit; A control device for a vehicle that opens and closes between an in-vehicle battery connected to the other end of a circuit, the wiring for applying a drive voltage for turning on the semiconductor switch to the gate of the semiconductor switch; A driving switch for short-circuiting the wiring to turn off the semiconductor switch, a Zener diode having an anode connected to the one end and a cathode connected to the wiring, and a voltage detector for detecting a voltage at the one end. and a controller that controls the drive switch from off to on and compares the voltage detected by the voltage detector with a predetermined threshold to determine whether the switching circuit is faulty. .
According to this aspect, the control unit can determine whether or not there is a failure in the switching circuit in a time shorter than the time required to completely discharge the capacitor charged by the vehicle-mounted battery.
When judging whether or not there is a failure in the switching circuit, the controller controls the drive switch from off to on. When the drive switch is off, the semiconductor switch is on (see FIG. 3). When the drive switch is on, the semiconductor switch is off (see FIG. 4). When the switching circuit is on, the capacitor and the vehicle battery are connected and the capacitor is in a charged state. When the switching circuit is normally turned off by the control of the drive switch, the capacitor is disconnected from the vehicle battery and the capacitor starts to discharge (see FIG. 4).
When the capacitor discharges and the voltage at one end of the switching circuit drops to the reference potential, it can be determined that the switching circuit has been normally controlled from ON to OFF.
Particularly according to this aspect, the charge accumulated in the capacitor is discharged through the Zener diode, wiring and drive switch. Therefore, the capacitor can be discharged in a shorter time than when the capacitor is discharged naturally. Therefore, the control unit can quickly determine whether or not there is a failure in the switching circuit.
Further, in this aspect, the wiring constituting the driving circuit of the semiconductor switch, the Zener diode for protecting the semiconductor switch, and the driving switch for driving the semiconductor switch are used as the discharging circuit. In other words, the drive circuit also has a function of discharging the capacitor. Therefore, the control device according to this aspect can efficiently discharge the capacitor while suppressing an increase in the number of parts, and can quickly determine whether or not there is a failure in the switching circuit.
Further, the control of turning the drive switch from off to on is the control of switching the semiconductor switch from on to off, and at the same time, the control of starting discharge of the capacitor. Therefore, the control circuit can control the semiconductor switch and the discharge of the capacitor only by controlling the drive switch.
(2) It is preferable that the voltage detection section includes a voltage dividing resistor that divides the voltage of the one end of the switching circuit.
According to this aspect, when the switching circuit is normally turned off, the capacitor is disconnected from the vehicle battery, and the charge accumulated in the capacitor is further discharged through the voltage dividing resistor for voltage detection. Therefore, the capacitor can be discharged in a shorter time. Therefore, the control unit can quickly determine whether or not there is a failure in the switching circuit.
(3) It is preferable that a discharge switch for grounding the one end of the switching circuit is provided, and the control section controls the drive switch and the discharge switch from OFF to ON.
According to this aspect, when the switching circuit is normally turned off, the capacitor is disconnected from the vehicle battery, and the charge accumulated in the capacitor is further discharged through the discharge switch. Therefore, the capacitor can be discharged in a shorter time. Therefore, the control unit can quickly determine whether or not there is a failure in the switching circuit.
(4) Preferably, the wiring is provided with an electric resistor.
According to this aspect, the electric resistor can reduce the surge voltage and surge current that flow into the control section from the outside.
(5) Preferably, the switching circuit includes a plurality of semiconductor switches connected in parallel, and a plurality of Zener diodes and a plurality of electric resistors provided in each of the plurality of semiconductor switches.
According to this aspect, the switching circuit has a plurality of semiconductor switches connected in parallel. Therefore, the control device can open and close a circuit through which a large current flows, which cannot be controlled by a single semiconductor switch.
A Zener diode is provided for each of the plurality of semiconductor switches. Charge stored in the capacitor is discharged through a plurality of Zener diodes, wiring and drive switches. Therefore, the capacitor can be discharged in a shorter time. Therefore, the control unit can quickly determine whether or not there is a failure in the switching circuit.
Furthermore, an electrical resistor is provided for each of the plurality of semiconductor switches. Therefore, it is possible to more effectively reduce the surge voltage and surge current flowing into the control unit from the outside. The electric resistor provided in each semiconductor switch can be miniaturized.

[Details of the embodiment of the present disclosure]
A control device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure will be described below with reference to the drawings. The present disclosure is not limited to these examples, but is indicated by the scope of the claims, and is intended to include all modifications within the scope and meaning equivalent to the scope of the claims.
Hereinafter, the present disclosure will be specifically described based on the drawings showing the embodiments thereof.

When the
When the
