Description
a)反応室に前記排気ガスを導入するステップと、その際に、
b)高圧下で、水酸化ナトリウム(NaOH)のような、アルカリ性添加剤を含むまたは含まない海水のエアロゾルを、前記反応室のガスの流れの入口において、および/または前記反応室に直接、前記排気ガスの流れに噴霧するステップであって、
これにより、前記海水エアロゾル、またはアルカリ性溶液を含むエアロゾルが、前記排気ガス中の前記硫黄酸化物と反応し、簡単に処理できる反応生成物が生じる、ステップと、
を有する。
c)ガス、水、および反応生成物を含む混合物を、少なくとも一つの回転式遠心分離器ロータのディスクスタックに通過させ、遠心力により、前記ガスから前記反応生成物と液体を分離し、清浄化ガスを環境に放出するステップ
という特徴を有する。
Claims (11)
- 海洋ディーゼルエンジンからの排気ガス中の硫黄酸化物(SOx)の量を低減する方法であって、
a)反応室に前記排気ガスを導入するステップと、その際に、
b)加圧下で、水酸化ナトリウム(NaOH)のような、アルカリ性添加剤を含むまたは含まない海水のエアロゾルを、前記反応室のガス流の入口において、および/または前記反応室に直接、前記排気ガスの流れに噴霧するステップであって、
2μm以下まで低下したサイズのエアロゾル滴を有する、前記海水のエアロゾル、またはアルカリ性溶液を含むエアロゾルが、前記排気ガス中の前記硫黄酸化物と反応し、処分可能な(disposable)反応生成物が生じる、ステップと、
c)ガス、水、および反応生成物を含む混合物を、少なくとも一つの回転式遠心分離器ロータのディスクスタックを通過させ、遠心力により、前記ガスから前記反応生成物と液体を分離し、清浄化ガスを環境に放出するステップと、
を有する、方法。 - 前記ガス、水、および反応生成物の混合物は、前記ロータディスクスタックを通り、いわゆる対向流方式で流れる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ガス、水、および反応生成物の混合物は、前記ロータディスクスタックを通り、いわゆる並行流方式で流れる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 海洋ディーゼルエンジンからの排気ガス中の硫黄酸化物(SOx)の量を低減する設備であって、
硫黄酸化物の量が低減された、清浄化された排気ガスを環境に放出するため、出口に向かって、前記エンジンからの前記排気ガスを誘導する排気パイプと、
前記排気ガスと、海水のエアロゾル、または前記排気ガスの硫黄酸化物の量と反応するアルカリ性溶液のエアロゾルとを受容する反応室と、
を有し、
分離ディスク同士の間の隙間のスタックを有する、少なくとも一つの遠心分離器ロータは、ガス、水、および反応生成物の混合物を受容し、前記遠心分離器ロータの前記ディスクスタックに通過させる、前記反応室内に配置され、または前記反応室と一体化され、
遠心力により、前記ガスから前記反応生成物と液体が分離され、
前記遠心分離器ロータは、環境に開放された排気ガス出口と連通するガス出口を有し、
前記反応室の入口部分または内部に、1または2以上の噴霧ノズルが配置され、
該噴霧ノズルは、加圧下で、前記遠心分離器ロータまで、2μm以下まで低下したサイズのエアロゾル滴を有する、前記海水のエアロゾルまたはアルカリ性溶液のエアロゾルを、前記排気ガスの流れに注入するように構成される、設備。 - 分離ディスク同士の間の隙間のスタックを有する、複数の遠心分離器ロータは、前記反応室の内部に平行に配置され、
前記ロータの各々は、ガス出口を有し、該ガス出口は、前記反応室を取り囲む、またはその内部に配置された分離空間に開放され、前記排気ガス出口と連通する、請求項4に記載の設備。 - 前記ロータは、前記ロータの前記ディスクスタックを介して、排気ガス、水、および反応生成物の混合物を供給する、少なくとも一つのファンと関連し、
低減された量の硫黄酸化物のガスが前記排気ガス出口に放出される、請求項5に記載の設備。 - 各ロータには、前記分離空間に配置された個々のファンが設けられる、請求項6に記載の設備。
- 前記分離ディスクは、円錐状である、請求項4乃至7のいずれか一つに記載の設備。
- 前記分離ディスクは、半径方向のリブ状ファン羽根を有する、実質的に平坦なラジアルディスクとして形状化され、
前記ディスクの間の離間部材としても機能する、請求項4乃至7のいずれか一つに記載の設備。 - 並行流式の分離器の前記遠心分離器ロータの入口シャフトが、前記反応室の一部を形成する、請求項4乃至9のいずれか一つに記載の設備。
- 対向流式の分離器の前記遠心分離器ロータを取り囲むケーシングが、前記反応室の一部を形成する、請求項4乃至9のいずれか一つに記載の設備。
