Claims (10)
- 複数のバッテリーセルを含むセル積層体と、
前記セル積層体を収容するモジュールケースと、
前記モジュールケースの両側開口部をカバーする一対のモジュールカバーと、
前記モジュールカバーを貫通して設けられる通気部と、を含み、
前記通気部は、
前記モジュールカバーを貫通する貫通ホールの中心部に配置される単方向ベンティングバルブと、
前記貫通ホールの内周面に付着される第1ホール密閉部と、
前記単方向ベンティングバルブの外周面に付着される第2ホール密閉部と、を含み、
前記貫通ホールは、基準温度未満では空気の通路として機能し、基準温度以上では、膨張により相互に接した前記第1ホール密閉部及び第2ホール密閉部によって密閉される、バッテリーモジュール。 - 複数のバッテリーセルを含むセル積層体と、
前記セル積層体を収容するモジュールケースと、
前記モジュールケースの両側開口部をカバーする一対のモジュールカバーと、
前記モジュールカバーを貫通して設けられる通気部と、を含み、
前記通気部は、
前記モジュールカバーを貫通する貫通ホールの中心部に配置される単方向ベンティングバルブと、
前記貫通ホールの内周面に付着される第1ホール密閉部と、
前記単方向ベンティングバルブの外周面に付着される第2ホール密閉部と、を含む、バッテリーモジュールであって、
前記第1ホール密閉部及び第2ホール密閉部は、基準温度以上で膨脹して相互に接して前記貫通ホールを密閉することを特徴とする、バッテリーモジュール。 - 前記第1ホール密閉部及び第2ホール密閉部は、エポキシ系樹脂、ブチル系樹脂及び塩化ビニル系樹脂の少なくともいずれか一つを含むシートからなることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記単方向ベンティングバルブは、モジュールケースの内圧が基準圧力以上である場合、内部から外部へベンティングガスを排出することを特徴とする、請求項2又は3に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記通気部は前記貫通ホールを横切るバルブ支持部を含み、前記単方向ベンティングバルブは前記バルブ支持部に固定されることを特徴とする、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記バッテリーモジュールは、前記モジュールケースの内側エッジ及び前記モジュールケースの内側面とモジュールカバーとが接する境界領域上に付着されるケース密閉部をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記ケース密閉部は、基準温度以上で膨脹して前記モジュールケースの気密性を強化することを特徴とする、請求項6に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記単方向ベンティングバルブは、
少なくとも一つの第1流路を備える下部キャップと、
少なくとも一つの第2流路を備え、内部空間が形成されるように前記下部キャップの上部に結合する上部キャップと、
前記内部空間に位置し、前記上部キャップから前記下部キャップに向ける方向へ弾性加圧されて前記第2流路を覆うように設けられる流路蓋と、を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記単方向ベンティングバルブは、弾性体からなり、前記モジュールケースの内側から外側に向ける方向に沿って内部空間が次第に狭くなる扇形を有し、上端の対向面が相互に当接していることを特徴とする、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュールを複数個含む、バッテリーパック。
