Claims (7)
- 流体供給部と流体連通している1つ以上の流体ビアであって、それぞれ第1の数の加熱素子と関連付けられており、前記加熱素子は第2の数の加熱素子のグループに分けられて、ある数のグループを形成している、1つ以上の流体ビアを有し、画像データにしたがって前記加熱素子に電気信号を選択的に印加することにより、液体が吐出されるプリントヘッドを設計するための設計方法であって、
少なくとも1つのシフトレジスタを備える、複数種類の印刷解像度用のプリントヘッド間で共通の電気的インターフェースを用い、
前記グループの数は、前記プリントヘッドの印刷解像度と比例関係にあり、前記グループ毎に含まれる前記加熱素子の数は、前記プリントヘッドの印刷解像度の種類によらず、一定であるように設計する
プリントヘッドの設計方法。 - 前記1つ以上の流体ビアの各流体ビアの一方の側に第1のカラムとして、および各流体ビアの他方の側に第2のカラムとして、1以上の前記グループがそれぞれ配置されるように設計する
請求項1に記載のプリントヘッドの設計方法。 - 前記グループの数は、(前記第1の数の加熱素子)/(前記第2の数の加熱素子)の式により計算される
請求項1に記載のプリントヘッドの設計方法。 - 前記第1の数の加熱素子は、(前記プリントヘッドの印刷解像度)×(印刷走査幅)の式により計算され、式中、印刷走査幅は前記流体ビアの幅を表し、印刷走査幅の単位はインチである
請求項3に記載のプリントヘッドの設計方法。 - 前記プリントヘッドは1200dpiの印刷解像度を有し、前記グループの数は40であるように設計する
請求項1に記載のプリントヘッドの設計方法。 - 前記プリントヘッドは600dpiの印刷解像度を有し、前記グループの数は20であるように設計する
請求項1に記載のプリントヘッドの設計方法。 - 前記プリントヘッドは300dpiの印刷解像度を有し、前記グループの数は10であるように設計する
請求項1に記載のプリントヘッドの設計方法。
