各表面がまた、閉ループの形態で配置された連続フィラメントからなるトウを備え、前記ループが、前記少なくとも1つのアンカーポイントを含む空間の境界を定め、
各ループが、コア部と、前記保護殻のそれぞれ1つとの間に挟まれており、
前記殻および前記コアに硬化樹脂を含侵させて互いに結び付けた構造部材。 - 前記コア部が、外面に沿ったいかなる位置でも、
2つの互いに対向する表面間に最短距離と定められる厚さを有し、その厚さが、その位置での前記外面の前記殻の厚さの少なくとも10倍である、請求項1に記載の構造部材。 - 前記コアが、炭素繊維、ガラス繊維、またはアラミド繊維からなる低繊維体積(低繊維対複合材料比)材料を含む、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の構造部材。
- 前記コア部が、前記ループがたどる経路と一致する各外面に溝を備える、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の構造部材。
- 前記ループまたは前記ループのそれぞれが、2つ以上の前記アンカーポイントを囲む空間を定めつつ、最小長または最小に近い長さのループを定める経路をたどる、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の構造部材。
- 前記ループのそれぞれが、2つのアンカーポイント間を延びる直線部分を含み、前記直線部分が、隣接するアンカーポイントの外側を回って湾曲するフック部分により、前記ループに沿って、隣接する直線部分に接続されており、各ループの前記直線部分が、前記アンカーポイントを互いから引き離すために前記直線部分の各端部で前記アンカーポイントに加えられるいかなる力も前記ループ部分の前記直線部分に沿って直接作用するような向きになっている、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の構造部材。
- 前記ループのそれぞれが、前記ループの周りに複数回巻かれたトウを備える、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の構造部材。
- 前記2つの外殻が前記互いに対向する表面を覆い、前記コア部の周囲に連続的な保護外殻を形成するために、前記コア部の側面も併せて覆う、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の構造部材。
- 構造部材が、アンカーポイントと、このアンカーポイントの周りを通るループの部分との間に配置された充填片を含む、
請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の構造部材。 - スタッドまたはボルト等の締結具を受け入れるために、前記アンカーポイントの1つに、外殻と前記コア部との両方を通る孔が設けられている、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の構造部材。
- 前記殻のそれぞれが、高繊維分率織シート材料を含む、請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の構造部材。
- 3つのアンカーポイントを有するウィッシュボーンストラットとして構成されており、前記ループが前記3つのアンカーポイントを接続しその周りを通過する、請求項1から12のいずれか一項に記載の構造部材。
- 2つのアンカーポイントを有するドッグボーン構造体として構成されている、請求項1から12のいずれか一項に記載の構造部材。
- 前記構造部材が、車両用のストラットあるいは航空機の翼用のストラットを備えるか、または車体あるいはシャーシの一体部分を備える、請求項13または14に記載の構造部材。
- 請求項1から15のいずれか一項に記載の構造部材を作製する方法であって、
前記コア部を設けるステップと、
ループの形態の連続フィラメントからなる前記トウを一方の表面に設置するステップと、
外殻を前記ループ上に配置するステップと、
少なくとも前記外殻に未硬化樹脂を含浸させるステップと、
含浸させた前記樹脂を硬化させるステップと、を含む方法。 - 前記樹脂を含浸および硬化させる前に、第2のループを他方の外面に設置し、その後そのループ上に第2の外殻を設けることを含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 樹脂を含浸させる前記ステップが、前記コア部と前記殻または各殻との両方に樹脂を含浸させることを含む、請求項16または17に記載の方法。
