Claims (3)
- 情報データに基づいて位相の変化量の分布または位相速度の分布に対応する画像データを生成する画像データ生成部と、
前記画像データに基づいて階調制御信号を生成する制御部と、
前記階調制御信号により制御される液晶素子と、
を備え、
前記液晶素子は、
複数の画素電極が配置され、1個の画素電極が1画素を構成する画素領域を有する第1の基板と、
前記複数の画素電極と対向する対向電極を有し、かつ、前記第1の基板と所定の間隙を有して配置されている第2の基板と、
前記所定の間隙に充填されている液晶と、
前記第1の基板において前記画素領域の外側の領域であって、前記画素領域に照射される光を受光できる前記画素領域の近傍の領域に配置され、前記画素領域に照射される光を光電変換して受光信号を生成する受光部と、
を有し、かつ、
各画素に対応する階調データを含む前記階調制御信号に基づいて前記複数の画素電極に異なる駆動電圧が印加されることにより、前記画素領域に照射される光の波面を変化させ、
前記受光信号に基づいて、前記液晶素子の駆動を通常動作からスタンバイ状態に切り替える、または、スタンバイ状態から通常動作に切り替えるための駆動制御信号を生成する受光信号検出部をさらに備え、
前記制御部は、前記駆動制御信号に基づいて、前記液晶素子の駆動を通常動作からスタンバイ状態に切り替える、または、スタンバイ状態から通常動作に切り替えるように前記液晶素子を制御し、
前記複数の画素電極は光反射性を有し、
前記情報データは、入射される前記光の入力ポート及び出力ポートの位置と前記画素電極における前記光の入射に対する反射の角度との関係を示すパラメータと、前記光の波長帯のパラメータとを含む
位相変調装置。 - 複数の光反射性の画素電極が配置され、1個の画素電極が1画素を構成する画素領域を有する第1の基板と、前記複数の画素電極と対向する対向電極を有し、かつ、前記第1の基板と所定の間隙を有して配置されている第2の基板と、前記所定の間隙に充填されている液晶と、前記第1の基板において前記画素領域の外側の領域であって、前記画素領域に照射される光を受光できる前記画素領域の近傍の領域に配置され、前記画素領域に照射される光を光電変換して受光信号を生成する受光部とを有する液晶素子を用いた位相変調装置の制御方法であって、
入射される光の入力ポート及び出力ポートの位置と画素電極における前記光の入射に対する反射の角度との関係を示すパラメータと光の波長帯のパラメータとを含む情報データに基づいて、位相の変化量の分布または位相速度の分布に対応する画像データを生成し、
前記画像データに基づいて階調データを含む階調制御信号を生成し、
各画素に対応する前記階調制御信号に基づいて前記複数の画素電極に異なる駆動電圧を印加することにより、前記画素領域に照射される光の波面を変化させ、
前記受光信号に基づいて、前記液晶素子の駆動を通常動作からスタンバイ状態に切り替え、または、スタンバイ状態から通常動作に切り替えるための駆動制御信号を生成し、
前記駆動制御信号に基づいて、前記液晶素子の駆動を通常動作からスタンバイ状態に切り替え、または、スタンバイ状態から通常動作に切り替えるように前記液晶素子を制御する
位相変調装置の制御方法。 - 前記受光信号の信号レベルが閾値電圧以上か否かを判定し、
前記受光信号の信号レベルが閾値電圧以上ではないと判定された場合に、前記閾値電圧以上ではない状態が所定の時間以上経過したか否かを判定し、
前記所定の時間以上経過したと判定された場合に、前記液晶素子の駆動を通常動作からスタンバイ状態に切り替える
請求項2に記載の位相変調装置の制御方法。
