Description
本出願は、2016年9月12日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/393,269号の利益を主張する。上記出願の全開示は、参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
本発明の実施形態は、概して、感圧接着剤及び裏材又は支持フィルムに関する。より詳細には、本発明の実施形態は、UL94 VTM-0又はV-0、及び、60秒垂直燃焼試験についてのFAA試験に準拠した難燃性となる感圧接着剤に関する。
Underwriters Laboratories社 UL94 VTM-0試験
UL94(装置及び器具の試験における部品用のプラスチック材料の燃焼性の安全性に関する規格)は、米国のUnderwriters Laboratories社によって発表されたプラスチックの燃焼性規格である。この規格では、様々な向き及び厚さにおけるプラスチックの燃焼具合に従って、プラスチックを分類している。試験は全体として、承認された最小の厚さである12.7cm×1.27cmの試験片で行われる。
この規格の試験では、材料が垂直位置において試験されて、発火源が取り除かれた後10秒以内に自己消火することが求められる。粒子の滴下物は、燃え上がらない限り許可される。
試験片は、60秒間の点火時間の間、裸火に曝される。発炎時間、すなわちバーナーの炎が試験片の下から取り除かれた後に試験片が発炎し続ける時間を記録する。赤熱を生じるが炎を生じない表面燃焼は含まれない。滴下物発炎時間は、任意の炎を発する材料が、試験片からチャンバの床に落下した後に発炎し続ける秒数である。試験片から材料が落ちない場合は、ドリップタイムは0秒と報告される。1つを超える滴下物がある場合、報告される滴下物発炎時間は、最も長く発炎している滴下物における時間である。後続の発炎する滴下物が、発炎していた先の滴下物に再点火させた場合、報告される滴下物発炎時間は、全ての発炎している滴下物の合計である。平均燃焼長は、元の試験片の端から、その領域の燃焼に起因する試験試料の損傷の最も遠い痕跡までの平均距離である。この痕跡には、部分消費された、炭化した又は脆化した領域を含むが、材料が熱により収縮又は溶融した領域でない、煤のついた、変色した、歪んだ又は退色した領域は含まない。
ボール衝撃試験の要件は、IEC 61965に記載されている。
試験は、片面が厚さ0.6mmの鏡面ガラスに積層された厚さ0.0381mm又は0.127mmのいずれかのUFポリエステルフィルムの両面に、示された配合の厚さ0.0254mmの接着剤を使用している構成に対して実施した。
UL94 VTM-0及びV-0、並びに、より厳格なFAA 60秒垂直燃焼試験並びに放熱及び放煙についての試験に適合可能な構成及び配合を、表1に記載する。これらの材料における難燃性のレベルは、それらが例えばボール衝撃試験のような衝撃試験に合格可能なレベルの粘着及び剥離強度を有するような低いレベルにある。
Claims (20)
- アクリル系接着剤又はゴム系接着剤と、
ジエチルホスフィン酸アルミニウム14重量%~29重量%と、
ジシアノグアニジン、フタロシアニン顔料、ジアゾ化合物、メラミンシアヌレート及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される部材を含むガス放出剤1重量%~10重量%と
を含む感圧接着剤であって、
前記感圧接着剤は非吸湿性であり、1000ppm(質量百万分率)を超える水分を空気中から吸収しない、感圧接着剤。 - 前記ジエチルホスフィン酸アルミニウムが、15重量%~21重量%である、請求項1に記載の感圧接着剤。
- 前記ガス放出剤が、2重量%~5重量%である、請求項1に記載の感圧接着剤。
- 前記ジエチルホスフィン酸アルミニウム:前記ガス放出剤の比が、2.9:1~15:1である、請求項1に記載の感圧接着剤。
- 前記ジエチルホスフィン酸アルミニウム:前記ガス放出剤の比が、6:1である、請求項1に記載の感圧接着剤。
- 前記感圧接着剤が、基材上にコーティングされている、請求項1に記載の感圧接着剤。
- 前記基材が、ポリイミド、ポリフェニレンスルフィド、ポリフェニレンオキシド、ポリフェニルスルホン、ポリベンゾイミダゾール及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択される部材を含む、請求項6に記載の感圧接着剤。
- 前記感圧接着剤を覆っている裏材をさらに含み、前記感圧接着剤が前記裏材と前記基材との間に配置されている、請求項6に記載の感圧接着剤。
- 前記基材が難燃添加剤を含み、前記難燃添加剤が、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリカーボネート及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択される部材を含む、請求項6に記載の感圧接着剤。
- 前記基材が、0.011mm~0.254mmの厚さを有する、請求項6に記載の感圧接着剤。
- 0重量%超~2重量%の粒子をさらに含み、前記粒子は、ナノ酸化亜鉛、酸化アルミニウム、二酸化ケイ素、カーボンナノチューブ及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択される部材を含む、請求項1に記載の感圧接着剤。
- 前記感圧接着剤が、難燃性基材の片面にコーティングされている、請求項1に記載の感圧接着剤。
- 前記感圧接着剤が、0.011mm~0.254mmの厚みを有する、請求項12に記載の感圧接着剤。
- 前記感圧接着剤が、難燃性基材の両面にコーティングされている、請求項1に記載の感圧接着剤。
- 前記感圧接着剤が、実質的に水に不溶である、請求項1に記載の感圧接着剤。
- 前記感圧接着剤が、UL94 VTM-0及びV-0、並びに、FAA 60秒垂直燃焼試験並びに放熱及び放煙についての試験に適合する難燃性を提供する、請求項1に記載の感圧接着剤。
- 前記感圧接着剤が、IEC 61965に従うボール衝撃試験に合格している、請求項1に記載の感圧接着剤。
- アクリル系接着剤又はゴム系接着剤と、
ジエチルホスフィン酸アルミニウム20重量%~22重量%と、
ジシアノグアニジン、フタロシアニン顔料、ジアゾ化合物、メラミンシアヌレート及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される部材を含むガス放出剤3重量%~4重量%と
を含む感圧接着剤であって、
前記感圧接着剤は非吸湿性であり、1000ppm(質量百万分率)を超える水分を空気中から吸収しないと共に、UL94 VTM-0及びV-0、並びに、FAA 60秒垂直燃焼試験並びに放熱及び放煙についての試験に適合する難燃性を提供し、IEC 61965に従うボール衝撃試験に合格している、感圧接着剤。 - アクリル系接着剤又はゴム系接着剤と、ジエチルホスフィン酸アルミニウム14重量%~29重量%と、ジシアノグアニジン、フタロシアニン顔料、ジアゾ化合物、メラミンシアヌレート及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される部材を含むガス放出剤1重量%~10重量%とを含む感圧接着剤であって、前記感圧接着剤は非吸湿性であり、1000ppm(質量百万分率)を超える水分を空気中から吸収しない、前記感圧接着剤によって、基材の片面をコーティングすることを含む、感圧テープを作製する方法。
- 前記感圧接着剤によって前記基材の他方の面をコーティングすることをさらに含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
