Description
挿入可能な医療デバイス(例えば、栄養チューブなどのチューブ)の挿入を案内するためのシステムおよび方法が、本明細書に開示される。開示されたシステムは、挿入デバイス位置決め案内システムとして使用されてもよい。このシステムは、挿入プロセス中の挿入医療デバイスの位置をリアルタイムで追跡し、示すために使用することができる。一例として、システムは、栄養チューブが被験者の体内に挿入されているときに、栄養チューブの先端の位置を追跡し、示すことができる。有利なことに、これは、挿入手順をかなり容易かつ安全にし、チューブが正しい位置に挿入されることを確実にする。

Claims (7)
- 消化管チューブ位置決め案内システムであって、
治療領域を覆う電磁場を発生するように構成された電磁場発生器であって、被験者の外部にある電磁場発生器と、
被験者の胴体上の剣状突起と左鎖骨および右鎖骨とをマークするように構成された位置合わせセンサと、
電磁場発生器に対する位置を感知するように構成された先端センサを有する消化管チューブと、
処理回路とを備え、
前記処理回路は、
胸骨上切痕の位置を、前記マークされた左鎖骨および右鎖骨に基づいて計算し、
位置合わせセンサによってマークされた剣状突起と左鎖骨および右鎖骨に基づいて、前記電磁場発生器に対する被験者の向きを計算し、
胴体を表す所定の解剖学的マップをロードし、
前記位置合わせセンサによってマークされた剣状突起と左鎖骨および右鎖骨から導出された被験者の上半身上の2つの位置に対応する位置に基づいてマップを位置合わせし、
消化管チューブ挿入の経路をマップ上に示すように構成され、
前記経路は、消化管チューブの挿入中に先端センサによって感知された電磁場の強度の変化に従って生成される、消化管チューブ位置決め案内システム。 - 前記導出された位置が、胸骨上切痕および剣状突起である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記治療領域内で、前記被験者の胴体上に配置され、前記電磁場発生器に対する前記被験者の胴体の位置および向きを表す基準座標系を定義するように構成された基準センサをさらに備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記解剖学的マップは、前記被験者の正面図、前記被験者の側面図、および/または前記被験者の軸方向像を示す、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記マップを表示するように構成されたモニタをさらに含む、請求項1に記載のシステ
ム。 - 前記位置合わせセンサは、手動で操作されるように構成されたスタイラスの先端に組み込まれる、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記被験者の向きを決定/推定することは、前記剣状突起と前記左鎖骨との間の第1のベクトルと、前記剣状突起と前記右鎖骨との間の第2のベクトルとを定義することを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
