Description
第1実施形態にかかる接合構造体B1は、図1に示すように、第1部材1(以下、部材1)と、第2部材2(以下、部材2)と、部材1と部材2との間に介在してそれらを接合する接着剤層3とを備えている。部材1と部材2とは、互いに線膨張係数が異なる材料から形成されている。
なお、εBは、接着剤Adのせん断破断ひずみτBと、τB=2・εB を満たす。
以下、電着塗装を施した接合構造体B1について、その製造方法を図3を参照して説明する。本方法は、接着剤塗布工程S1と、仮固定工程S2と、電着塗装工程S3と、接合工程S4と、を含む。本方法は、接合工程S4後に、中塗り工程、上塗り工程などを備えてもよく、接着剤塗布工程S1前に、接着面4,5を脱脂・洗浄する工程などを備えてもよい。
次に、第2乃至第6実施形態にかかる接合構造体B2~B6について、図5乃至図9を参照して説明する。なお、以下の実施形態では、各々先行する実施形態と異なる構成についてのみ説明することとし、既に説明した構成と同様の構成については、同様の符号を付して説明を省略する。
第2実施形態では、図5に示すように、接着剤層3が、中央領域R1と、一対の外縁領域R2とを備えている。中央領域R1は、中央部3bを含む。一対の外縁領域R2は、各々、中央領域R1のX方向両外側の境界部3cからX方向外側に延び、かつ、端部3aを含む。
第3実施形態では、図6に示すように、接着剤層3が、中央領域R1と、一対の中間領域R3と、一対の外縁領域R2とを備えている。中央領域R1は、中央部3bを含む。一対の中間領域R3は、各々、中央領域R1のX方向両外側の境界部3cからX方向外側に延びる。一対の外縁領域R2は、各々、一対の中間領域R3のX方向両外側の境界部3dからX方向外側に延び、かつ、端部3aを含む。
第1乃至第3実施形態では、図1、図5及び図6に示した端部3aの厚さが、X方向両側で互いに等しいが、端部3aの厚さはX方向両側で互いに異なっていてもよい。また、図1、図5及び図6に示した接合構造体B1~B3は、それぞれ中央部3bを通る面方向XYに垂直な直線(不図示)を軸として略線対称な断面形状を有しているが、当該軸の片側のみ(図中の右側または左側のみ)に図示の構成を備えてもよい。この場合、図示の構成を備えた側において、上記各実施形態の作用効果を得ることができる。なお、図示の構成を備えた側と反対の側では、接着剤層3の厚さはX方向に一定にしてもよい。
接合構造体では、接着剤層3の面方向XYの特定の位置で、接着面4に対する接着面5の面方向XYの移動(相対変位)が規制されている場合がある。例えば、図7に示すように、部材1に形成された凹部6に部材2に形成された凸部7が係合している場合、図示しない固定具により部材1,2が互いに固定されている場合、接着面4,5同士が互いに機械的に干渉するような表面形状を有している場合などである。
第5実施形態にかかるセンターピラー8は、図8Aに示すように、ボディサイドパネルの車両前後方向中央部において、車両上下方向に延在している。センターピラー8は、図8Bに示すように、中空閉断面構造を有し、ピラーインナー9と、ピラーインナー9に接合されたピラーアウター10とを備えている。
第6実施形態にかかるフード13は、車体前部の上面を構成し、エンジンルームの上方を覆う。フード13は、図9に示すように、鋼板製のフードアウタパネル15と、炭素繊維強化プラスチック製のフードインナパネル14と、それらの間に介在してそれらを接合する接着剤層3とを備えている。フードインナパネル14は、フードアウタパネル15の下面に接着剤Adにより貼り合わされている。

Claims (8)
- 線膨張係数が異なる材料からなる2つの部材と、
前記2つの部材間に介在して、それらを接合している接着剤層と、
を備え、
前記接着剤層は、その面方向に平行な一方向に長手方向を有し、かつ、前記長手方向における端部と、前記長手方向における中央部と、を少なくとも備えており、
前記端部における厚さが、前記中央部における厚さより大きい、接合構造体。 - 前記接着剤層の厚さが、前記中央部から前記長手方向の外側に向かうに従って増加する、請求項1に記載の接合構造体。
- 前記接着剤層は、
前記中央部を含む中央領域と、
前記中央領域の前記長手方向の両外側の境界部からそれぞれ前記長手方向の外側に延び、かつ、前記端部をそれぞれ含む一対の外縁領域と、
を備え、
前記中央領域の厚さは、前記長手方向に一定であり、
前記一対の外縁領域の厚さは、それぞれ前記中央領域と前記外縁領域との境界部から前記長手方向の外側に向かうに従って増加する、請求項1に記載の接合構造体。 - 前記接着剤層は、
前記中央部を含む中央領域と、
前記中央領域の前記長手方向の両外側の境界部からそれぞれ前記長手方向の外側に延びる一対の中間領域と、
前記一対の中間領域の前記長手方向の両外側の境界部からそれぞれ前記長手方向の外側に延び、かつ、前記端部をそれぞれ含む一対の外縁領域と、
を備え、
前記中央領域及び前記一対の外縁領域の厚さは、それぞれ前記長手方向に一定であり、
前記一対の中間領域の厚さは、それぞれ前記中央領域と前記中間領域との境界部から前記長手方向の外側に向かうに従って増加する、請求項1に記載の接合構造体。 - 線膨張係数が異なる材料からなる2つの部材と、
前記2つの部材間に介在して、それらを接合している接着剤層と、
を備え、
前記接着剤層の前記2つの部材との界面と、前記接着剤層の面方向に垂直な直線とが交わる2つの交点について、それらの前記面方向の相対位置が前記2つの部材の熱膨張または熱収縮の前後で変化しないとき、当該2つの交点の面方向位置を、前記面方向における基準点とすると、
前記基準点から前記面方向に最も離れた端部における前記接着剤層の厚さが、前記基準点における前記接着剤層の厚さより大きい、接合構造体。 - 電着塗装された、請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項に記載の接合構造体。
- 線膨張係数が異なる材料からなる2つの部材を、未硬化状態の接着剤層を介して重ね合わせ、仮固定する工程と、
前記仮固定した2つの部材に対して電着塗装を行う工程と、
前記電着塗装された2つの部材を加熱し、前記電着塗装で形成した塗膜を前記2つの部材に焼き付けつつ、前記接着剤層を硬化させ、前記2つの部材を接合する工程と、
を備え、
前記加熱により硬化した前記接着剤層は、その面方向に平行な一方向に長手方向を有し、当該接着剤層の厚さは、前記長手方向における中央部よりも、前記長手方向における端部においてより大きい、接合構造体の製造方法。
