Claims (21)
- エミッション試験装置と共に使用するための排気流管システムであって、前記システムは、エンジン排気管の開放端に嵌合されるように構成され、
前記エンジン排気管の前記開放端からの排気ガスを受けて、前記排気ガスをエミッション試験装置に送るように構成された一次流管と、
前記エンジン排気管の開放端からの排気ガスを受けて、前記排気ガスを前記エミッション試験装置に送るように構成された二次流管と、
前記二次流管を通る排気ガスの流れを制御するように構成された弁と、
前記エンジン排気からの排気ガスの流量又は予想流量を示す信号を受けて、前記信号に応じて前記弁の動作を制御して前記二次流管を通る排気ガスの流れを変更するように構成された制御システムと、
を有し、
前記エンジン排気管の前記開放端は、排気ガスがそこを通って大気にエミッションされる端部であり、
前記一次流管は、前記二次流管とは異なる断面積を有することを特徴とする、排気流管システム。 - 前記流量又は予想流量を示す前記信号は、前記一次流管を通るガスの流量を示す信号を含む請求項1に記載の排気流管システム。
- 前記流量又は予想流量を示す前記信号は、前記エンジンの動作のための制御信号を含む請求項1又は請求項2に記載の排気流管システム。
- 前記弁は、蝶形弁である請求項1から請求項3の何れか1項に記載の排気流管システム。
- 前記制御システムは、前記エミッション試験装置から前記流量又は予想流量を示す信号を受けるように構成された請求項1から請求項4の何れか1項に記載の排気流管システム。
- 前記弁は、第1の閉状態と、第2の開状態との間で作動可能である請求項1から請求項5の何れか1項に記載の排気流管システム。
- 前記弁は、前記第1の状態と第2の状態との間の状態を採るように作動可能である請求項6に記載の排気流管システム。
- 更に、前記エンジン排気管からの排気ガスを受けて、前記排気ガスを前記エミッション試験装置に送るように構成された1つ又はそれ以上のさらなる流管を含む請求項1から請求項7の何れか1項に記載の排気流管システム。
- 更に、前記1つ又はそれ以上のさらなる流管のうちの1つを通る排気ガスの流れを制御するように構成されたさらなる弁を含む請求項8に記載の排気流管システム。
- 前記さらなる流管は、前記一次及び二次流管の少なくとも1つと異なる断面積を有する請求項8又は請求項9に記載の排気流管システム。
- 請求項1から請求項10の何れか1項に記載のシステムで使用するための、一次及び二次流管を含む管又は導管のネットワーク。
- 更に、制御システムを含む請求項11に記載の管又は導管のネットワーク。
- 請求項1から請求項10の何れか1項に記載のシステムで使用するための制御システム。
- 前記エンジン排気からの排気ガスの流量又は予想流量を示す信号が第1の所定閾値を超えたときに前記弁を開くように構成された請求項13に記載の制御システム。
- 前記エンジン排気からの排気ガスの流量又は予想流量を示す信号が第2の所定閾値を下回ったときに前記弁を閉じるように構成された請求項13又は請求項14に記載の制御システム。
- 前記エンジン排気からの排気ガスの流量又は予想流量を示す信号は、前記一次流管を通るガスの流量を示す信号を含む請求項13から請求項15の何れか1項に記載の制御システム。
- 前記エンジン排気からの排気ガスの流量又は予想流量を示す信号は、前記エンジンの動作のための制御信号を示す信号を含む請求項13から請求項16の何れか1項に記載の制御システム。
- 請求項1から請求項10の何れか1項又は請求項13から請求項17の何れか1項に記載のシステム、又は請求項11又は請求項12に記載の管又は導管のネットワークを含むエミッション測定システム。
- 携帯型エミッション測定システムである請求項18に記載のエミッション測定システム。
- 車両によって運ばれるように構成された請求項19に記載のエミッション測定システム。
