Claims (11)
- 内燃機関の排出ガス後処理システム(1)であって、
反応チャンバ(3)内に配置された触媒コンバータ(2)を備え、
前記反応チャンバ(3)に、したがって前記触媒コンバータ(2)に通じた排出ガス供給ライン(4)、および前記触媒コンバータ(2)から、したがって前記反応チャンバ(3)から離れていく排出ガス放出ライン(5)を備えた排出ガス後処理システム(1)において、
排出ガス偏向デバイス(7)が前記排出ガス供給ライン(4)の下流端部(6)に割り当てられ、前記排出ガス供給ライン(4)は、前記下流端部(6)とともに前記反応チャンバ(3)内に開口しており、前記排出ガス偏向デバイス(7)は、前記排出ガス供給ライン(4)の下流端部(6)を通じて前記反応チャンバ(3)内に流れる前記排出ガスを、約180°、または180°偏向させ、
前記排出ガス偏向デバイス(7)は除荷デバイス(8)を具備し、排出ガス圧力が過度に高くなった場合、前記排出ガスを前記触媒コンバータ(2)を通り越して導くために、前記除荷デバイスが開き、
前記除荷デバイス(8)に隣接した排出ガス偏向デバイス(7)は流れ制御要素(9)を具備し、該流れ制御要素は、前記除荷デバイス(8)を起点として、前記排出ガス供給ライン(4)の下流端部(6)の方向に延びており、且つ少なくともセクションにおいて、前記排出ガス供給ライン(4)の下流端部の外側を取り囲んでおり、前記流れ制御要素(9)は、少なくともセクションにおいて前記排出ガス供給ライン(4)の下流端部(6)の外側を取り囲んでおり、前記排出ガスは、前記流れ制御要素(9)により再度約180°、または180°さらに偏向され、続いて前記触媒コンバータ(2)進入することを特徴とする排出ガス後処理システム(1)。 - 前記除荷デバイス(8)は、特に流れの偏向の上流における前記排出ガス圧力が、制限値よりも大きくなった場合に開くことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排出ガス後処理システム。
- 前記除荷デバイス(8)は、自動開放除荷デバイスとして設計されていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の排出ガス後処理システム。
- 前記自動開放除荷デバイス(8)は、過度に高い排出ガス圧力において破壊する破裂デバイスとして設計されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の排出ガス後処理システム。
- 前記除荷デバイス(8)は、アクチュエータを介して積極的に開放される除荷デバイスとして設計されていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の排出ガス後処理システム。
- 前記排出ガス偏向デバイス(7)の除荷デバイス(8)は、前記排出ガス供給ライン(4)の長手軸にほぼ直交してまたは直交して、したがって前記排出ガス供給ライン(4)を通じた排出ガスの流れにほぼ直交してまたは直交して、前記排出ガス供給ライン(4)の下流端部(6)に対して所定の距離(X)を有するように広がっていることを特徴とする請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の排出ガス後処理システム。
- 前記排出ガス供給ライン(4)の下流端部(6)と、前記排出ガス偏向デバイス(7)の除荷デバイス(8)と、の間の前記距離(X)は、0.1×U/π~0.8×U/πの間の大きさであり、Uは前記下流端部(6)における前記排出ガス供給ライン(4)の周長であることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の排出ガス後処理システム。
- 前記除荷デバイス(8)が開放された状態において、前記排出ガスは前記触媒コンバータ(2)を通り越してバイパス(12)内へと流れ、該バイパス(12)を通じて周囲環境へとまたは前記排出ガス放出ライン(5)へと、前記反応チャンバ(3)から離れるように流れることを特徴とする請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の排出ガス後処理システム。
- 前記除荷デバイス(8)は、前記反応チャンバ(3)の外壁の一部であることを特徴とする請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載の排出ガス後処理システム。
- 前記排出ガス供給ライン(4)は第1流れ断面積(Q1)を有し、
前記排出ガス供給ライン(4)と前記排出ガス偏向デバイス(7)との間には、第2オーバーフロー断面積(Q2)が形成され、該第2オーバーフロー断面積は、前記下流端部(6)の領域における前記排出ガス供給ライン(4)の直径から、および前記排出ガス供給ライン(4)の下流端部(6)と前記排出ガス偏向デバイス(7)の除荷デバイス(8)との間の距離から得られ、
前記排出ガス偏向デバイス(7)は第3流れ断面積(Q3)を確定し、該第3流れ断面積は、前記排出ガス供給ライン(4)の下流端部(6)と、その外側に配置された前記排出ガス偏向デバイス(7)の流れ制御要素(9)との間の自由流れ断面積から得られ、
前記オーバーフロー断面積(Q2)は、前記第1流れ断面積(Q1)よりも大きいかもしくはそれに等しく、且つ/または前記第3流れ断面積(Q3)は、前記第2オーバーフロー断面積(Q2)よりも大きいかもしくはそれに等しいことを特徴とする請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載の排出ガス後処理システム。 - 請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載の排出ガス後処理システム(3)を備えた内燃機関(1)。
