Claims (10)
- 挿入軸に沿って圧力を加えることによって対応するメスコネクタと嵌合するオスコネクタにおいて、前記オスコネクタが、
接点パッド基板と、
コネクタシェルと、
を有し、
前記接点パッド基板は、2つの最外側の接点パッド及び2つの最内側の接点パッドを含む接点パッドの線形アレイを有し、前記2つの最外側の接点パッドは、一緒に電気的に接続され、
前記2つの最内側の接点パッドは、2.0ミリメートルのピッチを有し、各最内側の接点パッドとそれに最も近い最外側の接点パッドとの間のピッチは、USBシリーズAレセプタクル接点パッドピッチ仕様に準拠する前記対応するメスコネクタの接点ベアリング舌部の対応する接点と整列するために2.5ミリメートルであり、
前記コネクタシェルは、絶縁材料から形成され、前記対応するメスコネクタに挿入するための管状部分と、挿入中に操作するための操作部分とを含み、
前記管状部分は、空洞への入口を規定する開口部を有する端面を含み、前記空洞は、前記対応するメスコネクタの前記接点ベアリング舌部を前記管状部分内に受け入れるために、前記挿入軸に沿って延在し、
前記接点パッド基板は、前記線形アレイの前記接点パッドが、前記端面に対して横方向に分布し、前記オスコネクタが前記メスコネクタと嵌合する場合に、前記メスコネクタの前記接点ベアリング舌部の前記対応する接点と電気的に接触するように、前記接点パッドが、前記空洞内で露出されるように、前記空洞内に配置される、
オスコネクタ。 - 前記管状部分が、USBシリーズAレセプタクルへの前記管状部分の挿入を防止するために、前記挿入軸に沿って前記空洞に対して外向きに延在する挿入キーを有する、請求項1に記載のオスコネクタ。
- 前記接点パッド基板は、基板平面内に存在し、前記挿入キーは、前記基板平面に対して法線方向に外向きに延在する、請求項1乃至2のいずれか一項に記載のオスコネクタ。
- 前記接点パッド基板は、第1の表面と第2の表面とを更に有し、前記接点パッドは、前記第1の表面上に配置され、前記挿入キーは、前記第1の表面に対して垂直に外向きに延在する、請求項3に記載のオスコネクタ。
- 前記線形アレイに平行な前記管状部分の前記端面の最大幅が、12.1ミリメートルよりも大きく、及び/又は前記線形アレイに垂直な前記管状部分の前記端面の最大高さが、4.6ミリメートルよりも大きく、USBシリーズAレセプタクルへの前記管状部分の挿入を防止する、請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載のオスコネクタ。
- 前記挿入軸に垂直である平面における前記管状部分の外側断面は、湾曲した又は面取りされた角を有する、請求項1に記載のオスコネクタ。
- 前記操作部分は、前記線形アレイに垂直なテーパ厚さを有するテーパ領域を更に有し、前記テーパ厚さは、前記管状部分に向かって増加し、前記対応するメスコネクタと前記オスコネクタの嵌合中に、ユーザの指が前記管状部分に向かって滑ることを防止する、請求項1に記載のオスコネクタ。
- 前記オスコネクタが、センサ及び電気ケーブルを更に有し、
前記センサは、第1の電気接点及び第2の電気接点を有し、
電気ケーブルは、第1の信号導体と、第2の信号導体と、前記第1の信号導体及び前記第2の信号導体を電気的にシールドするように構成された電気シールドとを有し、
前記センサの前記第1の電気接点は、前記第1の信号導体によって、前記オスコネクタの前記2つの最内側の接点パッドのうちの1つに電気的に接続され、前記センサの前記第2の電気接点は、前記第2の信号導体によって、前記オスコネクタの前記2つの最内側の接点パッドのうちの他方に電気的に接続され、前記電気シールドは、前記接点パッド基板の前記2つの最外側の接点パッドの両方に電気的に接続される、
請求項1に記載のオスコネクタ。 - 請求項8に記載のオスコネクタを有する医療装置において、前記センサが、前記医療装置に取り付けられる、医療装置。
- 請求項2に記載のオスコネクタと、メスコネクタとを有するアセンブリにおいて、前記メスコネクタが、
前記オスコネクタの前記コネクタシェルの前記管状部分を受け入れるためのハウジング開口部を有するハウジングであって、前記ハウジング開口部が、前記挿入キーを受け入れるように構成されたノッチを含む、前記ハウジングと、
前記オスコネクタの前記空洞内への挿入のための接点ベアリング舌部と、
を有し、
前記接点ベアリング舌部は、前記オスコネクタの前記2つの最内側の接点パッド及び前記2つの最外側の接点パッドと電気的に接触するためにそれぞれ配置された2つの内側バネ接点及び2つの外側バネ接点を含む接点の線形アレイを有する、
アセンブリ。
