Description
一の実施例に係るポリエチレンテレフタレートバルキー連続フィラメントの製造方法は、ポリエチレンテレフタレートチップを溶融紡糸する工程を含むことができる。
テレフタル酸100重量部に対して、エチレングリコール50重量部を混合して製造したスラリーをエステル化反応器に投入し、250℃にて4時間、0.5torrの圧力で加圧して水を反応器の外に流出させながら、エステル化反応を進行させ、ビス(2-ヒドロキシエチル)テレフタレート[bis(2-hydroxyethyl)terephthalate]を製造した。この時、リン系の耐熱安定剤をエステル化反応末期に300ppm投入した。また、エステル化反応後、重合触媒としてアンチモン触媒を重縮合反応の初期に300ppmを投入し、250℃〜285℃まで60℃/hrで昇温するとともに、圧力を0.5torrまで減圧して重縮合反応を進行した。前記重合物を高状重合を実施し、液状重合物の粘度を上げる。一般的な高状重合の過程の中で、バッチ高状重合機を利用して、真空条件下で140℃で4時間、水分を除去するための乾燥を進め、235℃まで4時間から6時間にかけて昇温を行い、235〜245℃の温度範囲で最終的な目標の粘度まで高状重合を実施する。
重合物の分子量及び低分子物質の含量を下記の表1に記載されたように調整したことを除いては、実施例1と同一な過程を経てポリエチレンテレフタレートBCF原糸及びカーペットをそれぞれ製造した。
1)モノフィラメントの強度及び伸度
温度25℃、相対湿度65RH%にて24時間放置した原糸(マルチフィラメント)から10個のモノフィラメントを抽出した後、Lenzing社のモノフィラメント引張試験機Vibrojet2000を用いて、初荷重をVibroietにてデニール別に規定する荷重(約、モノデニールx60(mg))を加えた後、試料長20mm、引張速度20mm/minで測定する。測定された10個の値のうちに最大値及び最小値をそれぞれ1つずつ除いた残り8つの平均値でモノフィラメント物性を測定した。初期モジュラスは降伏点以前のグラフの傾きを示す。
カーペットの耐摩耗性を下記のように評価し、その結果を下記の表1に示した。

試験条件
- 摩耗輪:H-18
- 回転速度:70回/分
- 荷重:1000g
- 回転数1000回
- 評価方法:外観評価1〜5級(現代自動車MS343-15規格3級以上(3,4,5級))合格
- 評価基準:5級 摩耗が全く見えない、4級 摩耗が若干見えたり、ほとんど目立たないもの、3級 摩耗が若干あるが見えるもの、2級 摩耗が若干激しいもの、1級 摩耗が相当に激しいもの
HPLC(High-performance liquid chromatography)法を用いて、PET重合物及びフィラメント内の低分子物質の含量を分析した。この時、前処理は0.1g内外の試料をHFIP(Hexafluoro-2-propanol)/CH2Cl2=1/3(v/v)5mlに溶解した後、アセトニトリル10mlで再沈殿した後、UPLCでインジェクション(Injection)した。また、HPLCの詳細な分析条件は下記の通りである。

- Eluent: A/B=90/10→A/B=0/100→A/B=90/10, A: 0.3%H3PO4, B: CH3CN
- Flow rate: 1.0ml/min (5.0μL Inj, Runtime: 40min)
- Detection: UV Detector at 242nm

Claims (5)
- ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)重合体を溶融紡糸して製造されるポリエチレンテレフタレートバルキー加工連続フィラメント(BCF)を含むパイル層;及び少なくとも一つ以上のバッキング(Backing)層を含み、
前記BCFのモノフィラメントは、1.0g/dの初期応力で5%以上伸び、3.0g/dの中期応力で25〜35%伸びており、破断引張強度が4.0〜6.0g/d、伸び率が40〜60%であり、
前記ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)重合体内の高分子を形成しなかったオリゴマーの数が(n)3〜7個である低分子物質の含量が1.0重量%以下であり、前記BCFのモノフィラメント内の前記低分子物質の含量が1.3重量%以下である、自動車用タフテッドカーペット。 - 前記ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)重合体の重量平均分子量は、50,000〜70,000である、請求項1記載の自動車用タフテッドカーペット。
- 前記ポリエチレンテレフタレートバルキー加工連続フィラメントは、モノフィラメントが50〜300個の集合体からなるマルチフィラメントである、請求項1記載の自動車用タフテッドカーペット。
- 前記ポリエチレンテレフタレートバルキー加工連続フィラメントの全体繊度が700〜1500デニールである、請求項1記載の自動車用タフテッドカーペット。
- MS343-15規格に沿った耐摩耗が3級以上である、請求項1記載の自動車用タフテッドカーペット。
