Claims (4)
- 陽子ビームを照射して中性子を発生させるためのターゲットと、
前記ターゲットに照射された陽子が停止したときに生じる水素を拡散させるための支持材と、
前記支持材を筐体内に設置するためのベース材と、を備え、
前記支持材は、前記ターゲットが接合された面に拡散した水素を真空中へ放出するための空スペースを有し、
前記ベース材は、チタンであり、前記支持材と間にアルミニウムを介して拡散接合される、
ことを特徴とする中性子発生装置。 - 前記ターゲットは、厚さを前記陽子ビームの飛程の2分の1にしたリチウムである、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の中性子発生装置。 - 前記支持材は、中性子照射によって生成される放射性核種の半減期が1日よりも短いバナジウム又はパラジウムである、
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の中性子発生装置。 - 前記ベース材は、前記筐体に差し込んで電子ビーム溶接により設置される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3の何れか一に記載の中性子発生装置。
