Description
炭素成分の含量が50質量%、平均直径(D50)が6μm、平均長さ(L50)が90mmである炭素繊維を含む炭素繊維強化プラスチックスクラップを1,300℃で炭化させ、炭素成分の含量が98質量%、平均直径(D50)が6μm、平均長さ(L50)が90mm、引張弾性率が250GPa、体積抵抗率が1×10−4Ω・cmである炭素繊維ステープル(A1)を製造した。その後、製造された炭素繊維ステープル(A1)と、平均直径(D50)が6μm、平均長さ(L50)が90mmである熱可塑性樹脂繊維(ナイロン(PA6)繊維、製造社:KPケムテク)(B)とを下記の表1に記載した含量で混合し、カージング、コーミング及び精紡段階を経て紡績することによって紡績糸を製造した。製造された紡績糸における炭素繊維ステープル(A1)の平均直径(D50)は6μmで、平均長さ(L50)は50mmであった。製造された紡績糸の引張弾性率及び体積抵抗率を測定し、その結果を下記の表1に示した。
炭素成分の含量が50質量%、平均直径(D50)が6μm、平均長さ(L50)が90mmである炭素繊維を含む炭素繊維強化プラスチックスクラップを250℃で炭化させ、炭素成分の含量が60質量%、平均直径(D50)が6μm、平均長さ(L50)が90mm、引張弾性率が15GPa、体積抵抗率が1×101Ω・cmである炭素繊維ステープル(A2)を製造した後、下記の表1に記載した含量で炭素繊維ステープル(A2)と熱可塑性樹脂繊維(ナイロン(PA6)繊維、製造社:KPケムテク)(B)とを混合し、カージング、コーミング及び精紡段階を経て紡績することによって紡績糸を製造した。製造された紡績糸における炭素繊維ステープル(A2)の平均直径(D50)は6μmで、平均長さ(L50)は50mmであった。製造された紡績糸の引張弾性率及び体積抵抗率を測定し、その結果を下記の表1に示した。
(1)引張弾性率(単位:GPa):ASTM D3379に基づいて、万能試験機(Universal Testing Machine、UTM)で引張弾性率を測定した。
Claims (10)
- 炭素成分の含量が97質量%以上である炭素繊維ステープル;及び
熱可塑性樹脂繊維;を含むことを特徴とする紡績糸であって、
前記炭素繊維ステープルは、炭素繊維強化プラスチックスクラップの炭化物であり、
前記炭素繊維ステープルは、ASTM D3379に基づいて測定した引張弾性率が100GPa〜1,000GPaで、ASTM D257に基づいて測定した体積抵抗率が1×10 −5 Ω・cm〜1×10 −3 Ω・cmであることを特徴とする、紡績糸。 - 前記炭素繊維ステープルは、平均直径が5μm〜10μm、平均長さが20mm〜80mmであることを特徴とする、請求項1のいずれか1項に記載の紡績糸。
- 前記熱可塑性樹脂繊維は、ポリアミド繊維、ポリエステル繊維及びアクリル系繊維のうちの1種以上を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の紡績糸。
- 前記熱可塑性樹脂繊維は、平均直径が5μm〜30μm、平均長さが10mm〜110mmであることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の紡績糸。
- 前記紡績糸は、前記炭素繊維ステープル10質量%〜60質量%、及び前記熱可塑性樹脂繊維40質量%〜90質量%を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の紡績糸。
- 前記紡績糸は、ASTM D3379に基づいて測定した引張弾性率が30GPa〜120GPaであることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の紡績糸。
- 前記紡績糸は、ASTM D257に基づいて測定した体積抵抗率が1×102Ω・cm〜1×107Ω・cmであることを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の紡績糸。
- 炭素繊維強化プラスチックスクラップを900℃〜1,400℃で炭化させることによって炭素繊維ステープルを製造する段階;及び
前記炭素繊維ステープルと熱可塑性樹脂繊維とを混紡することによって紡績糸を製造する段階;を含むことを特徴とする紡績糸の製造方法。 - 前記炭素繊維ステープルは、炭素成分の含量が97質量%以上で、ステープルの製造時、平均直径が5μm〜10μm、平均長さが60mm〜120mmで、紡績糸の製造後、平均直径が5μm〜10μm、平均長さが20mm〜80mmであることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の紡績糸の製造方法。
- 前記炭素繊維ステープルと熱可塑性樹脂繊維とを混紡することによって紡績糸を製造する段階は、カージング、コーミング及び精紡段階を含むことを特徴とする、請求項8または9に記載の紡績糸の製造方法。
