Description

Claims (31)
- レーザ光を用いて毛を切断する装置であって、前記装置は、ハンドル部と結合可能に構成された剃毛部を備え、前記剃毛部は、
支持体と、
前記支持体によって支持された導波路と、
センサと、
を有し、
前記導波路は、第1の位置と、第2の位置と、外壁と、前記第2の位置に向かって前記外壁の一部において前記導波路の長手方向に沿って延在する切断領域と、を備え、
前記剃毛部は、毛幹を効果的に切断するために所定の発色団を標的とするように選択された波長を有するレーザ光を放射するように構成されているとともに、
前記導波路は前記第1の位置においてレーザ光源から前記レーザ光を受け取り、前記レーザ光を前記第1の位置から前記第2の位置に向かって導光し、前記切断領域を毛に接触させると前記毛に向かって前記切断領域から前記レーザ光の少なくとも一部を放出させるとともに、
前記センサは、前記剃毛部に結合されている
装置。 - 前記センサは、毛との接触を検出するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記センサは、前記導波路からの光の漏れを検出するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記センサは、前記導波路の破損を検出するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記センサは、前記センサに入射する光量を検出するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記センサは、毛に存在する発色団を検出するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記発色団は、メラニンまたは皮脂である、請求項6に記載の装置。
- 前記センサは、反射光を検出するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記センサは、分光計として機能するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記センサは、前記導波路の第2の位置若しくはその近傍、前記支持体、または前記導波路の切断領域に設けられている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記センサは、切断面が毛と接触しているときに切断領域にレーザ光を送出するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記センサは、前記導波路にレーザ光が送出されないようにするか、または前記導波路に送出されるレーザ光の量を減少させるように構成されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記センサは、前記導波路にレーザ光を送出し得るか、または前記導波路に送出されるレーザ光の量を増大させるように構成されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記導波路は、さらに、前記切断領域が毛に接触すると、前記レーザ光の少なくとも一部を前記切断領域から毛に向けて光を放出させるように構成されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記導波路は、さらに、切断領域が毛に接触していない場合には、切断領域からの光の放出を防止するように構成されている、請求項14に記載の装置。
- 前記導波路と前記毛との間に位置するように構成された結合強化媒体をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記支持体は、T字型である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記支持体は、前記導波路を収納するように構成された溝を備え、前記導波路は前記溝の内部に配置されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記波長は、380nm〜480nm、380nm〜500nm、400nm〜500nm、2500nm〜3500nm、2950nm〜3050nm、及び2700nm〜3500nmから成る群から選択される1つ以上の範囲内にある、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記剃毛部は前記ハンドル部に取り外し自在に結合されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記導波路は前記支持体に取り外し自在に結合されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記所定の発色団は、皮質、脂肪酸、植物スフィンゴ脂質、セラミド、コレステロール、硫酸コレステロール、及びオレイン酸コレステロールから成る群から選択される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記レーザ光源からの前記レーザ光を前記導波路の前記第1の位置へ向かわせるように構成された光学系をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記導波路は、約4μm〜約1000μmの範囲の直径を有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記導波路の前記第2の位置に位置し、かつ前記導波路の前記第1の位置に向かって光を反射させるように構成された反射板をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記支持体に結合され、かつ前記切断領域の付近で吸引するように構成された、真空源をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記導波路は、コアと、前記切断領域を除いて前記導波路の長さに沿って前記コアを取り囲むクラッド部と、を備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記切断領域は、前記導波路の第1の位置付近における曲率半径とは異なる曲率半径を有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記切断領域における前記導波路の断面形状は楔形である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記導波路は、前記切断領域に沿って直径が先細となっている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記レーザ光の少なくとも一部を2mm〜20mmの長さを有する直線状の導波路に導く少なくとも1つの光断面整形光学系を備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
