- 液化天然ガスを貯蔵する貯蔵タンクと、少なくとも天然ガスを燃料として使用するエンジンとを備える船舶であって、
貯蔵タンクから排出される蒸発ガスを熱交換させる第1自己熱交換器;
前記貯蔵タンクから排出された後で前記第1自己熱交換器を通過した蒸発ガスを多段階で圧縮させる多段圧縮機;
前記多段圧縮機によって圧縮された蒸発ガスを予冷させる第2自己熱交換器;
前記第2自己熱交換器及び前記第1自己熱交換器によって冷却された流体の一部を膨張させる第1減圧装置;
前記第2自己熱交換器及び前記第1自己熱交換器によって冷却された流体の他の一部を膨張させる第2減圧装置;及び
前記エンジンとして発電機及び低圧エンジンのうち少なくとも1つ以上を備え、
前記第1自己熱交換器は、前記貯蔵タンクから排出される蒸発ガスを冷媒として用いて、前記多段圧縮機によって圧縮された後で前記第2自己熱交換器を通過した蒸発ガスを冷却させ、
前記第2自己熱交換器は、前記第1減圧装置によって膨張された流体を冷媒として用いて、前記多段圧縮機によって圧縮された蒸発ガスを冷却し、
前記第2自己熱交換器及び前記第1自己熱交換器によって冷却された流体の他の一部を前記第2減圧装置によって膨張させて液化し、
前記第1減圧装置及び前記第2自己熱交換器を通過した蒸発ガスを発電機及び低圧エンジンのうち1つ以上に送るラインと、このライン上に設置される加熱器とをさらに備えることを特徴とする、エンジンを備える船舶。 - 前記第2減圧装置を通過した流体は前記貯蔵タンクに送られることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のエンジンを備える船舶。
- 前記第2減圧装置の後段に設置され、再液化した液化ガスと気体状態の蒸発ガスとを分離する気液分離器をさらに備え、
前記気液分離器によって分離された液化ガスは前記貯蔵タンクに送られ、
前記気液分離器によって分離された気体状態の蒸発ガスは前記第1自己熱交換器に送られることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のエンジンを備える船舶。 - 前記エンジンとして高圧エンジンをさらに備え、前記多段圧縮機を通過した蒸発ガスの一部は高圧エンジンに送られることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のエンジンを備える船舶。
- 液化天然ガスを貯蔵する貯蔵タンクと、少なくとも天然ガスを燃料として使用するエンジンとを備える船舶の蒸発ガスの再液化方法であって、
1)貯蔵タンクから排出された蒸発ガスを多段階で圧縮させ、
2)前記多段階で圧縮された蒸発ガスを熱交換させて予冷させ、
3)前記貯蔵タンクから排出された蒸発ガスを冷媒として用いて、前記2)段階で予冷させた流体を熱交換させて冷却させ、
4)前記3)段階で冷却された流体の一部を第1減圧装置によって膨張させ、
5)前記4)段階で膨張された流体を、前記2)段階で熱交換の冷媒として使用し、
6)前記3)段階で冷却された流体の他の一部を第2減圧装置によって膨張させて再液化させ、
7)前記第1減圧装置によって膨張された後、前記2)段階で熱交換の冷媒として使用された流体を加熱して、発電機及び低圧エンジンのうち1つ以上に送ることを特徴とする、蒸発ガスの再液化方法。 - 8)前記6)段階で膨張された後で一部が液化した液化ガスと、気体状態で残っている蒸発ガスとを分離し、
9)前記8)段階で分離された液化ガスは前記貯蔵タンクに送り、前記8)段階で分離された気体状態の蒸発ガスは、前記貯蔵タンクから排出される蒸発ガスと合流させて、前記3)段階の熱交換の冷媒として用いる、請求項5に記載の蒸発ガスの再液化方法。 - 前記1)段階で多段階で圧縮された蒸発ガスの一部を高圧エンジンに送る、請求項5に記載の蒸発ガスの再液化方法。
