Description

Claims (6)
- ガイドカテーテルアセンブリであって、
ダイレータであって、近位端、遠位端、前記遠位端の遠位開口部から前記近位端の近位開口部まで延在するダイレータ管腔、及び前記遠位開口部の近位の側面出口ポートを含み、前記側面出口ポートが、前記ダイレータ管腔と連通している、ダイレータと、
ガイドカテーテルであって、近位端、遠位端、及び前記ガイドカテーテルアセンブリの前記近位端と前記遠位端との間に延在するガイド管腔を含み、前記ダイレータ及び前記ガイド管腔は、前記ダイレータが前記ガイド管腔を通過することができるように寸法決定され、前記ダイレータ及び前記ガイドカテーテルは、前記ダイレータの前記近位端が前記ガイドカテーテルの前記近位端と軸に沿って軸に沿って概ね整列した状態で、前記ダイレータの前記遠位端が、前記ガイドカテーテルの前記遠位端を越えて遠位に延在し、かつ前記側面出口ポートが、前記ガイドカテーテルの前記遠位端の遠位に配置されるように、寸法決定される、ガイドカテーテルと、
前記ダイレータ管腔内に配置される閉塞具と、を備えており、
前記閉塞具の遠位端は、前記遠位開口部から近位に前進するガイドワイヤが、前記側面出口ポートを出るように前記閉塞具によって偏向されるように、前記側面出口ポートに隣接して、かつその近位に配置されており、
前記閉塞具が、前記側面出口ポートの近位の前記ダイレータ管腔を選択的に遮断する又は遮断解除するように軸方向に移動可能である、ガイドカテーテルアセンブリ。 - 前記側面出口ポートを通って前記ダイレータ管腔内へ配置される取り外し可能なチューブを更に備え、前記取り外し可能なチューブが、前記ダイレータ管腔よりも小さい直径を有するチューブ管腔を含む、請求項1に記載のガイドカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記側面出口ポートが、前記側面出口ポートを通って公称0.018〜0.021インチの直径のガイドワイヤを摺動可能に受容するように寸法決定される、請求項2に記載のガイドカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記ダイレータ管腔が、公称0.035又は0.038インチのガイドワイヤを摺動可能に受容するように寸法決定される、請求項3に記載のガイドカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記ダイレータの前記近位端を前記ガイドカテーテルの前記近位端に取り外し可能に連結するための連結機構を更に備える、請求項1に記載のガイドカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記ガイドカテーテルが、90〜150cmの範囲のガイドカテーテルの長さを有し、前記ダイレータが、前記ガイドカテーテルよりも長い、請求項1に記載のガイドカテーテルアセンブリ。
