Claims (15)
- 触媒コンバータ(9)と前記触媒コンバータ(9)に通じている排ガス供給導管(8)とを具備する内燃機関の排ガス後処理システム(3)において、
前記排ガス供給導管(8)は、下流側端部(15)において、前記触媒コンバータ(9)を受容している反応チャンバ(10)に通じており、
排ガス背圧上昇装置(25)が、前記反応チャンバ(10)の内部において、且つ、前記排ガス供給導管(8)の前記下流側端部(15)と前記触媒コンバータ(9)との間において、前記触媒コンバータ(9)の上流に配置されており、
少なくとも1つのブロー装置(24)が、前記反応チャンバ(10)内部に、且つ、前記排ガス背圧上昇装置(25)と前記触媒コンバータ(9)との間に配置されており、前記ブロー装置は、前記排ガス背圧上昇装置(25)のパージ、及び/又は、前記触媒コンバータ(9)のパージに用いられ、
1つ又は各ブロー装置(24)が、前記排ガス背圧上昇装置(25)及び/又は前記触媒コンバータ(9)の、貫流方向に対して横に延在する表面において、渦流れ又は旋回流を形成するように方向付けられていることを特徴とする排ガス後処理システム(3)。 - 前記排ガス後処理システム(3)が、SCR触媒コンバータ(9)として構成されており、前記SCR触媒コンバータ(9)から延在する排ガス排出導管(11)と、前記排ガス供給導管(8)に配設された、特にアンモニア又はアンモニア前駆物質といった還元剤を排ガスに導入するための導入装置(16)と、前記SCR触媒コンバータ(9)の上流において前記排ガスを前記還元剤と混合するための、前記排ガス供給導管(8)によって、前記導入装置(16)の下流に供給された混合区間(18)と、を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排ガス後処理システム(3)。
- 前記排ガス背圧上昇装置(25)が、自由な流れ断面を有しており、前記流れ断面は、前記触媒コンバータ(9)の自由な流れ断面の最大で2倍に相当することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の排ガス後処理システム(3)。
- 前記排ガス背圧上昇装置(25)の自由な流れ断面が、前記触媒コンバータ(9)の自由な流れ断面の最大で1倍に相当することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の排ガス後処理システム(3)。
- 前記排ガス背圧上昇装置(25)の自由な流れ断面が、前記触媒コンバータ(9)の自由な流れ断面の最大で0.5倍に相当することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の排ガス後処理システム(3)。
- 貫流方向における、前記排ガス背圧上昇装置(25)の厚さ又は長さと、貫流方向における、前記触媒コンバータ(9)の厚さ又は長さとの比が、少なくとも1:50であることを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の排ガス後処理システム(3)。
- 前記排ガス背圧上昇装置(25)の厚さ又は長さと、前記触媒コンバータ(9)の厚さ又は長さとの比が、少なくとも1:100であることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の排ガス後処理システム(3)。
- 前記排ガス背圧上昇装置(25)の厚さ又は長さと、前記触媒コンバータ(9)の厚さ又は長さとの比が、少なくとも1:200であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の排ガス後処理システム(3)。
- 前記排ガス背圧上昇装置(25)と前記触媒コンバータ(9)との間の貫流方向における距離に相当する距離と、前記触媒コンバータ(9)の貫流方向における厚さ又は長さとの比が、最大で2:1であることを特徴とする請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の排ガス後処理システム(3)。
- 前記距離と前記触媒コンバータ(9)の厚さ又は長さとの比が、最大で1:1であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の排ガス後処理システム(3)。
- 前記距離と前記触媒コンバータ(9)の厚さ又は長さとの比が、最大で1:2であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の排ガス後処理システム(3)。
- 前記排ガス背圧上昇装置(25)が、格子構造として構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の排ガス後処理システム(3)。
- 請求項1から12のいずれか一項に記載の排ガス後処理システム(3)を有している内燃機関(1)であって、特にディーゼル燃料又は重油燃料で動作することを特徴とする内燃機関(1)。
- 前記内燃機関(1)が、高圧タービン(6)を含む第1の排ガスターボチャージャ(4)と、低圧タービン(7)を含む第2の排ガスターボチャージャ(5)とを備えた多段排ガスターボチャージャシステム(2)を有しており、前記排ガス後処理システム(3)は、前記高圧タービン(6)と前記低圧タービン(7)との間に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の内燃機関(1)。
- 前記内燃機関(1)が一段過給式内燃機関である場合には、前記排ガス後処理システム(3)が、タービンの上流に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項13又は14に記載の内燃機関(1)。
