Description
電池セルとして、社内で作製した周縁部26を含む寸法が縦140mm、横55mm、厚み4.5mm、セル容量3Ahのラミネート型のリチウムイオン電池セルを使用した。この電池セル4枚のうち最下面に配置する電池セル外層に、(株)八光電機製シリコンラバーヒーター(SBH2012、25×50mm)を設置した。その後、各電池セル間に絶縁性シートを配置し、絶縁性シートを配置した組電池を作製した。
シリコンラバーヒーターに100Vの電圧を印加し200℃以上に加熱した。このヒーターの接する電池を熱源電池とし、熱源電池に隣接する電池を隣接電池として、25℃環境下において隣接電池の温度を測定しながら、熱源電池から他の電池に類焼が発生するか否かを確認した。
樹脂成分としてウレタン樹脂(商品名:エイムフレックスEF−243、第一工業製薬株式会社製)、並びに、無機充填剤として水酸化アルミニウム(住友化学株式会社製 C−310)を用い、無機充填剤の含有量が65質量%の樹脂組成物を調製した。また、繊維強化材として、ガラスロービング(ダイソーケミカル株式会社製、マルチエンドロービング、品番「ER550E−2400」)からなるガラス繊維基材を用いた。
実施例1〜3と同様の樹脂組成物を使用し、繊維強化材として、ポリエステル糸(グンゼ株式会社製、グンゼステッチ、品番「K5」)からなるポリエステル繊維基材を用いた。実施例1〜3と同様にして、厚さが3.0mm(実施例4)、2.0mm(実施例5)および1.0mm(実施例6)の3種類の厚さの絶縁性シートを作製した。ポリエステル繊維基材は、上記ポリエステル糸を複数本撚り合わせた糸を平行に引き揃えてなるものであり、その引き揃え間隔は、上記ポリエステル糸(即ち、撚り合わせる前の糸)の本数で、実施例4では幅10mmあたり88本、実施例5では幅10mmあたり58本、実施例6では幅10mmあたり37本となるように設定した。実施例4〜6の絶縁性シートを用いて、実施例1〜3と同様に耐類焼試験を実施した。その結果を表1に示す。
繊維強化材を用いることなく、その他は実施例1〜3と同様にして、厚さが3.0mm(実施例7)、2.0mm(実施例8)および1.0mm(実施例9)の3種類の絶縁性シートを作製し、耐類焼試験を実施した。その結果を表1に示す。
無機充填剤として水酸化マグネシウム(神島化学工業株式会社製、スターマグA)を用いた以外は実施例1〜3と同様にして、厚さが3.0mm(実施例10)、2.0mm(実施例11)および1.0mm(実施例12)の3種類の厚さの絶縁性シートを作製し、耐類焼試験を実施した。その結果を表1に示す。
繊維強化材を用いることなく、その他は実施例10〜12と同様にして、厚さが3.0mm(実施例13)、2.0mm(実施例14)および1.0mm(実施例15)の3種類の絶縁性シートを作製し、耐類焼試験を実施した。その結果を表1に示す。
無機充填剤として炭酸水素ナトリウム(株式会社トクヤマ製 工業用途品Pグレード)を用いた以外は実施例1〜3と同様にして、厚さが3.0mm(実施例16)、2.0mm(実施例17)および1.0mm(実施例18)の3種類の厚さの絶縁性シートを作製し、耐類焼試験を実施した。その結果を表1に示す。
無機充填剤として炭酸水素ナトリウム(株式会社トクヤマ製 工業用途品Pグレード)を用いた以外は実施例4〜6と同様にして、厚さが3.0mm(実施例19)、2.0mm(実施例20)および1.0mm(実施例21)の3種類の厚さの絶縁性シートを作製し、耐類焼試験を実施した。その結果を表1に示す。
繊維強化材を用いることなく、その他は実施例16〜18と同様にして、厚さが3.0mm(実施例22)、2.0mm(実施例23)および1.0mm(実施例24)の3種類の絶縁性シートを作製し、耐類焼試験を実施した。その結果を表1に示す。
無機充填剤として硫酸マグネシウム水和物(馬居化成工業株式会社製、精製硫酸マグネシウム結晶(7水塩)工業用TC)を用いた。使用前にボールミルにて平均粒径(D50)が40μmとなるように粉砕した。それ以外は実施例1〜3と同様にして、厚さが3.0mm(実施例25)、2.0mm(実施例26)および1.0mm(実施例27)の3種類の厚さの絶縁性シートを作製し、耐類焼試験を実施した。その結果を表1に示す。
無機充填剤として、水酸化アルミニウム(住友化学株式会社製 C−310)および炭酸水素ナトリウム(株式会社トクヤマ製 工業用途品Pグレード)を1:1(質量比)で混合したものを用いた以外は実施例1〜3と同様にして、厚さが3.0mm(実施例28)、2.0mm(実施例29)および1.0mm(実施例30)の3種類の厚さの絶縁性シートを作製し、耐類焼試験を実施した。その結果を表1に示す。
無機充填剤として、水酸化マグネシウム(神島化学工業株式会社製、スターマグA)および炭酸水素ナトリウム(株式会社トクヤマ製、工業用途品Pグレード)を1:1(質量比)で混合したものを用いた以外は実施例1〜3と同様にして、厚さが3.0mm(実施例31)、2.0mm(実施例32)および1.0mm(実施例33)の3種類の厚さの絶縁性シートを作製し、耐類焼試験を実施した。その結果を表1に示す。
実施例3と同様の樹脂成分および無機充填剤を使用し、無機充填剤の含有量が45質量%、55質量%、75質量%の樹脂組成物を調製した。繊維強化材として、実施例3と同様のガラスロービング(ダイソーケミカル株式会社製、マルチエンドロービング、品番「ER550E−2400」)からなるガラス繊維基材を用いた。実施例3と同様に加工し、厚み1.0mmで無機充填剤含有量が45質量%(実施例34)、50質量%(実施例35)、75質量%(実施例36)の3種類の絶縁性シートを作製し、耐類焼試験を実施した。結果を表1に示す。
樹脂組成物に無機充填剤を配合しなかった(すなわちウレタン樹脂のみを用いた)以外は実施例1〜3と同様にして、厚さが3.0mm(比較例1)、2.0mm(比較例2)および1.0mm(比較例3)の3種類の厚さの絶縁性シートを作製し、耐類焼試験を実施した。その結果を表1に示す。
繊維強化材を用いることなく、その他は比較例1〜3と同様にして、厚さが3.0mm(比較例4)、2.0mm(比較例5)および1.0mm(比較例6)の3種類の絶縁性シートを作製し、耐類焼試験を実施した。その結果を表1に示す。
Claims (6)
- 平面部同士が対向配置される電池セル間に挟み込まれる絶縁性シートであって、無機充填剤を含有する樹脂組成物により形成され、かつ繊維強化材として織物、編物、不織布又は糸を平行に引き揃えたものが埋設され、前記繊維強化材の繊維がガラス繊維及び/又は合成繊維からなることを特徴とする、絶縁性シート。
- 前記無機充填剤の含有量が前記樹脂組成物100質量%中30〜95質量%の範囲内である、請求項1に記載の絶縁性シート。
- 前記無機充填剤は、二価もしくは三価の金属水酸化物、二価の金属硫酸塩水和物、亜鉛のオキソ酸塩、シリカ、アルミナ、ドーソナイト、および炭酸水素ナトリウムからなる群より選択される少なくとも1種である、請求項1又は2に記載の絶縁性シート。
- 前記樹脂組成物は、樹脂成分として、ウレタン樹脂、エポキシ樹脂、シリコーン樹脂、フェノール樹脂、不飽和ポリエステル樹脂、およびメラミン樹脂からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の樹脂を含有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の絶縁性シート。
- 前記樹脂組成物は、前記樹脂成分がウレタン樹脂であり、前記無機充填剤が二価もしくは三価の金属水酸化物である、請求項4に記載の絶縁性シート。
- 平面部を持つ複数の電池セルと、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の絶縁性シートとを備え、前記平面部同士が対向配置された前記複数の電池セルの少なくとも1つの対向配置部に前記絶縁性シートが挟み込まれたことを特徴とする、組電池。
