Description
一般に、ヒドロキシアパタイト(Ca10(PO4)(OH)2)(HAp)は、静電気的相互作用によりさまざまな物質を吸着・保持することができる。また、イオン交換性に優れているという特徴も有する。本発明のヒドロキシアパタイトは、擬似体液法を用いた湿式法により製造される。このとき、擬似体液の組成を調整することで、一般的な板状ないしリボン状のヒドロキシアパタイト(HAp)が凝集し、球状で多孔質な構造となっている。これにより、本発明の球状多孔質ヒドロキシアパタイト(一般的な「HAp」に対して「sHAp」と称す)は、一般的なヒドロキシアパタイト(HAp)よりも吸着特性に優れる。sHApの粒径は0.100〜5.00μmの範囲で、0.100〜0.400μm程度の細孔を有する。なお、本発明の球状多孔質ヒドロキシアパタイトは、光活性を有しない。
TiO2は、太陽や蛍光灯などの紫外光が当たると、その表面で強力な酸化力が生まれ、接触する有機化合物などの環境汚染物質や細菌を分解・除去することができる。また、TiO2は安定な物質であるため、理論的には半永久的に使用できる。更には、地殻中に豊富に存在するため枯渇の心配はほぼなく、安全・無害で、比較的長い波長(380nm程度)の紫外線で活性化する。TiO2にはアナターゼ型とルチル型が存在するが、光触媒活性作用が強いアナターゼ型が好ましい。TiO2は、有害物質や細菌を分解するのみならず、有機樹脂をも酸化分解するため、基材には有機樹脂を使用し難い。これに対し、基材が無機物であるヒドロキシアパタイトであれば、TiO2によって分解されることは無い。
本発明の光触媒複合体は、擬似体液を使用した湿式方によって得られる。具体的には、リン酸カルシウムクラスターが存在する擬似体液中で調製した球状多孔質ヒドロキシアパタイトのスラリーと、酸化チタン微粒子ゾルとを、イオン性界面活性剤の不存在下で混合して得られる。
<球状多孔質ヒドロキシアパタイトの合成>
sHAp合成のための擬似体液を調製した。擬似体液はPBS−(NaCl:2.74mol/L,KCl:0.0537mol/L,KH2PO4:0.0294mol/L,Na2HPO4:0.162mol/L)、PBS+(CaCl2・2H2O:0.068mol/L)を蒸留水で希釈してから混合して合成した。希釈割合は、最終的な擬似体液の組成がPBS−:PBS+:蒸留水=20.000:1.690:978.310となるようにすることで、Ca/P=0.300の条件を満たすように調整した。この擬似体液中には、Na+が61.2mmol/L、Cl−が58.1mmol/L、K+が1.66mmol/L、HPO4 2−が3.83mmol/L、Ca2+が1.15mmol/L含有されている。
スラリー状のsHAp0.150gと、TiO2ゾル(TKS−203;テイカ株式会社製)を1.00Lの水中で1時間攪拌した。なお、イオン性界面活性剤は使用していない。TiO2の混合量は、sHAp0.150gに対して0.0500g(実施例1)、0.100g(実施例2)、0.150g(実施例3)となるよう、各ゾルのTiO2含有量から計算したうえで調節した。1日静置した後にデカンテーションを行い,水が濁らなくなるまで遠心分離機(5420;KUBOTA製)を用いて洗浄し、試験用の試料とした。
<球状多孔質ヒドロキシアパタイトの合成>
実施例1〜3とは異なる擬似体液を用いて、sHAp合成を行った。具体的には、実施例4はPBS−:PBS+:蒸留水=50.000:1.548:948.452の割合で、実施例5はPBS−:PBS+:蒸留水=29.000:1.632:969.368の割合で、実施例6はPBS−:PBS+:蒸留水=10.000:1.970:988.030の割合で混合し、擬似体液の組成がそれぞれ表1に示すものとなるよう調整した。この擬似体液を用いて、実施例1〜3と同様に攪拌、デカンテーション、脱塩処理を行って、sHApを合成した。
上述のように合成したスラリー状のsHApと、TiO2ゾルを表1で示す量1.00Lの水中で1時間攪拌した。なお、イオン性界面活性剤は使用していない。攪拌後は、実施例1〜3と同様に静置、デカンテーション洗浄を行い、試験用の試料とした。
sHApとTiO2とを複合化する際に、イオン性界面活性剤としてスルホこはく酸ジ−2−エチルヘキシルナトリウム(関東化学株式会社)を5g混合した以外は、実施例3と同様にして複合体を調整した。その結果、形状は崩れており、球状多孔質ヒドロキシアパタイトは得られなかった。
TiO2と複合化させず、各実施例用と同様に作製したsHAp単体を、比較例2として使用した。
各試料の表面を走査型電子顕微鏡(S−2600;日立製作所製)で観察した。測定条件は、加速電圧15.0kVである。図1にTiO2単体、図2に比較例1、図3に比較例2、図4〜6に実施例1〜3、図7〜9に実施例4〜6の表面SEM画像をそれぞれ示す。これにより、sHApは0.100〜0.400μmの細孔を有し、粒径1.00〜5.00μmの球状で多孔質となっていることが確認された。
各試料の比表面積を、比表面積測定装置(モノソーブMS−21;ユアサアイオニクス株式会社製)でBET法により窒素ガスとヘリウムガスを流して測定した。また、各試料の表面電位を、表面電位測定装置(ゼータナノサイダーナノシリーズNano−Z;シスメックス株式会社製)により測定した。その際、設定温度は20℃とし、光源にHe−Neレーザー(633nm)を使用した。その結果を表1に示す。表1の結果から、複合化材料の比表面積がsHAp単体よりも大きくなっていることがわかった。また、複合化材料の表面電位がsHAp単体よりも負に大きく帯電していることがわかった。
L−FE−SEMの最表面観察では、試料を固定するためにグラファイト片を含むカーボンペーストを使用した。図10,11に、実施例3の表面L−FE−SEMが像を示す。図7,8より、sHApの表面に30.0〜50.0nmの微細なTiO2粒子が担持していることが確認された。
実施例1〜6及び比較例2の試料0.0500gを10.0ppmのメチレンブルー(Mb)水溶液50.0mlに添加し、撹拌しながら30分間は暗所、90分間はブラックライト(三共電気株式会社製;27W;紫外線強度3.60×103μW/cm2)を当て、10分ごとに5.00ml注射器で2.50ml程度サンプリングし、プラスチック製セル(45.0×10.0×10.0mm)に入れた。この時、サンプリングしたMb水溶液中に混合している試料は、メンブレンフィルター(孔径0.200μm)で取り除き、メチレンブルーの吸収波長である660nmの光の吸光度をレシオビーム分光光度計(U−5100;HITACHI製)で測定した。

前記擬似体液の組成が、
Na+:18〜160mmol/L、
K+:0.5〜4.5mmol/L、
Cl-:20〜142mmol/L、
HPO4 2-:1.2〜10.0mmol/L、
Ca2+:1.0〜2.1mmol/L
である、光触媒複合体の製造方法。 - 球状多孔質ヒドロキシアパタイトからなる基材に、酸化チタン微粒子が担持されており、
