Conventionally, in various fields such as automobiles and household electric appliances, it has been studied to improve the appearance of a product by providing a coating layer on the surface of the product and decorating the surface.

One aspect of such decoration is a matte finish for the purpose of producing a high-class feeling, suppressing sunlight reflection, and the like. The matting process is usually performed by forming fine irregularities on the surface of the product. The matting process is generally performed by applying a matte coating material to the product surface. For example, in Patent Document 1, a matte coating material containing a matte material made of a particulate resin is applied to the product surface. It is described that matting is performed by painting. Further, Patent Document 2 describes a method of performing an ice pellet blasting treatment on the surface of the clear coat layer.

Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 2006-231136

In recent years, the required product appearances have been diversified, and a decoration method that can be applied to various product appearances is desired.

Further, in the decoration method of forming a random structure on the product surface such as matte processing, the surface shape formed may change due to a slight difference in processing conditions, and a uniform product appearance may not be obtained.

In addition, when repairing a part of the surface of a decorated product, the appearance of the repaired part may not match the appearance of the non-repaired part and the appearance may be impaired, or the boundary between the repaired part and the non-repaired part may be impaired. It may not be possible to perform uniform processing and the repaired parts may become conspicuous.

One of the objects of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a decorative article, which can be applied to various product appearances and can easily produce a decorative article having a uniform product appearance. It is in. Further, one of the objects of the present invention is to give the repaired portion an appearance similar to that of the non-repaired portion, prevent the boundary between the repaired portion and the non-repaired portion from being conspicuous, and obtain a good product appearance. The purpose is to provide a possible method of repairing decorative articles. Furthermore, one of the objects of the present invention is to provide a transfer member and a decoration kit used in the above-mentioned manufacturing method and repair method.

One aspect of the present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a decorative article, which comprises a preparatory step of preparing a transfer member having a transfer surface on which a predetermined surface shape is transferred, and on a decorated portion of an object or on a decorated portion of the object. The coating process of applying the curable resin material on the transfer surface and the curing of the curable resin material in contact with the transfer surface are applied so that the surface shape of the transfer surface is transferred onto the decorated portion. It includes a curing step of forming a decorative resin layer having a decorative resin surface.

According to this manufacturing method, a desired surface shape can be formed on the surface of the decorative resin layer by transfer to the transfer surface and transfer to the decorative resin surface, so that the product has a uniform appearance based on the surface shape. The decorative article can be easily manufactured. Further, in the above manufacturing method, decorative articles having various product appearances can be manufactured by appropriately changing the surface shape to be transferred to the transfer surface. Further, in the above manufacturing method, since only the portion where the decorative resin layer is formed is decorated, it is easy to decorate only a part of the product.

In the production method according to one aspect, the curable resin material may be cured under reduced pressure in the curing step.

In one aspect, the curable resin material may contain a thermosetting resin.

In one aspect, the transfer surface may be a surface on which a matte surface is transferred.

In one aspect, the transfer surface may be composed of a plastic resin layer containing a silicone resin.

In the production method according to one aspect, the curable resin material may be applied by spray coating in the coating step.

Another aspect of the present invention relates to a repair method for repairing a defect generated in a decorative surface in a decorative article provided with a decorative surface having a predetermined surface shape, and the repair method is the surface shape of the decorative surface. A preparatory step of preparing a transfer member having a transfer surface on which the transfer surface is transferred, a coating step of applying a curable resin material to the defective portion having a defect, and a curing of the curable resin material in a state where the transfer surface is in contact with the transfer surface. A curing step of forming a decorative resin layer having a decorative resin surface on which the surface shape of the transfer surface is transferred is provided on the defective portion.

According to this repair method, by using the transfer surface to which the surface shape of the decorative surface is transferred, it is possible to give an appearance similar to that of the decorative surface on the defective portion. Therefore, according to the above-mentioned repair method, it is possible to prevent the boundary between the repaired portion and the non-repaired portion from being conspicuous and obtain a good product appearance. Further, in the above repair method, since the repair is performed by curing the curable resin material applied to the repaired portion, it is not always necessary to cover the portion other than the repaired portion with a protective material or the like in the curing step.
[Manufacturing method of decorative goods]
The method for producing a decorative article according to the present embodiment includes a preparatory step of preparing a transfer member having a transfer surface on which a predetermined surface shape is transferred, and curability on the decorated portion or the transfer surface of the object. A coating step of applying the resin material and a decoration in which the curable resin material is cured in a state where the transfer surface is in contact to have a decorative resin surface on which the surface shape of the transfer surface is transferred on the decorated portion. It includes a curing step of forming a resin layer.

According to the manufacturing method according to the present embodiment, a desired surface shape can be formed on the surface of the decorative resin layer by transfer to the transfer surface and transfer to the decorative resin surface, so that a uniform product based on the surface shape can be formed. A decorative article having an appearance can be easily manufactured. Further, in the manufacturing method according to the present embodiment, decorative articles having various product appearances can be manufactured by appropriately changing the surface shape to be transferred to the transfer surface. Further, in the manufacturing method according to the present embodiment, since only the portion where the decorative resin layer is formed is decorated, it is easy to decorate only a part of the product.

Hereinafter, each step of the manufacturing method according to the present embodiment will be described in detail.

(Preparation process)
In the preparatory step, a transfer member having a transfer surface on which a predetermined surface shape is transferred is prepared. The preparatory step may be a step of manufacturing the transfer member, or may be a step of preparing the manufactured transfer member.

In the present embodiment, the predetermined surface shape (hereinafter, also referred to as “surface shape A”) is a surface shape having a predetermined appearance (hereinafter, also referred to as “appearance A”). By transferring this surface shape A to the transfer surface, a shape similar to the surface shape A (hereinafter, also referred to as "surface shape A'") can be formed on the decorative resin surface described later. As a result, the decorative resin surface has an appearance similar to the appearance A (hereinafter, also referred to as "appearance A'").

The aspect of the surface shape A is not particularly limited, and may be, for example, uneven or wavy. Specific examples of the surface shape A include a surface shape having a matte appearance, a surface shape having a yuzu skin-like appearance, a surface shape having a cloth-like (for example, woven cloth-like or non-woven fabric-like) appearance, and a leather-like appearance. Examples thereof include a surface shape formed, a surface shape forming a paper-like (for example, Japanese paper-like) appearance, and the like.

The transfer member has a transfer surface, and the transfer surface has a shape obtained by transferring the surface shape A (hereinafter, also referred to as “surface shape B”).

In a preferred embodiment, the transfer member may include a transfer resin layer having a transfer surface on at least one side. The other surface side of the transfer resin layer is not particularly limited, and may have, for example, a second transfer surface on which a surface shape different from the surface shape A is transferred. Further, the other surface side of the transfer resin layer may be an adhesive surface with a film base material described later.

The transfer resin layer preferably has flexibility. When the transfer resin layer is a flexible resin layer, it has excellent followability to the decorated portion and has better adhesion to the curable resin material.

The resin material constituting the transfer resin layer is preferably a resin material capable of forming a flexible resin layer. The shore A hardness of the resin material constituting the transfer resin layer may be, for example, 90 or less, preferably 80 or less, and more preferably 70 or less. When the Shore A hardness of the resin material is low, the transfer resin layer has excellent flexibility, and the followability to the decorated portion tends to be further improved. The shore A hardness of the resin material constituting the transfer resin layer may be, for example, 30 or more, preferably 35 or more, and more preferably 40 or more. When the Shore A hardness of the resin material is high, it is possible to prevent the transfer surface from changing its shape due to excessive pressure or the like, and it is possible to obtain a more uniform product appearance. The shore A hardness indicates a value measured in accordance with JIS K6253: 2012 (ISO7619-1).

The transfer surface of the transfer resin layer preferably has excellent releasability after the curable resin material is cured in the curing step. In the curing step, after curing the curable resin material, it is necessary to peel off the transfer member from the formed decorative resin layer. At this time, if the transfer surface is excellent in releasability, it becomes easy to prevent damage to the decorative resin surface at the time of peeling. The releasability of the transfer surface can be ensured by, for example, making the resin material constituting the transfer resin layer excellent in releasability, surface-treating the transfer surface with a release agent, and the like.

The resin material constituting the transfer resin layer preferably contains a silicone resin from the viewpoint of excellent flexibility and releasability. The silicone resin may be, for example, a cured product of liquid silicone rubber. The resin material preferably contains a silicone resin as a main component (for example, 50% by mass or more based on the total amount of the resin material). The resin material constituting the transfer resin layer may further contain a solvent, a lubricant, a dispersant, a filler and the like.

The thickness of the transfer resin layer is not particularly limited, and may be appropriately changed depending on the presence or absence of the film base material, the hardness of the resin material, the desired handleability, and the like. The thickness of the transfer resin layer may be, for example, 3 mm or less, preferably 1 mm or less, 100 μm or more, and preferably 200 μm or more.

The transfer member may further include a film substrate. By forming the transfer resin layer on the film base material, the strength and handleability of the transfer member are improved, and the work efficiency is further improved.

The film substrate may be, for example, a flexible film substrate. As a result, the followability of the transfer member to the decorated portion is improved, and the adhesion to the curable resin material is further improved. The thickness of the film base material is not particularly limited, and may be, for example, 350 μm or less, preferably 150 μm or less, 15 μm or more, and preferably 50 μm or more.

The material of the film base material is not particularly limited, and may be, for example, a resin such as polyethylene terephthalate, polyethylene naphthalate, polyethylene, polypropylene, acrylic, polyimide, polyphenylene sulfide, and polycarbonate. Further, the film base material may be a metal foil such as an aluminum foil.

The transfer resin layer and the film base material may be directly bonded, or may be bonded via an adhesive layer or the like.

The method for manufacturing the transfer member is not particularly limited. A preferred embodiment of the method for manufacturing a transfer member includes a first step of applying a resin component on a decorative surface having a predetermined surface shape, and curing the resin component to transfer the surface shape of the decorative surface. Examples thereof include a manufacturing method including a second step of forming a transfer resin layer having a transferred surface.

In the method for manufacturing a transfer member according to the above aspect, a transfer resin layer composed of a cured product of the resin component is formed by curing the resin component. At this time, since the resin component is cured in a state of being in contact with the surface shape (surface shape A) on the decorative surface, the surface shape A is transferred to the surface of the transfer resin layer on the decorative surface side. A transfer surface is formed.

The resin component may contain, for example, a curable resin and a curing agent thereof. The resin component may contain a thermosetting resin and a thermosetting agent, may contain a photocurable resin and a photocuring agent, and may contain liquids A and B of a two-component curable resin. May be good.

The resin component may be applied on the decorative surface without being diluted, or may be diluted with a solvent and applied on the decorative surface. The solvent is not particularly limited as long as it can dissolve or disperse the resin component and can be easily removed by drying or the like after coating.

The curing method of the resin component is not particularly limited, and may be appropriately selected depending on the type of the curable resin and the curing agent contained in the resin component. For example, the resin component may be cured by light irradiation or heating.

In the method for manufacturing a transfer member according to the above aspect, a film base material is arranged on a resin component before curing or on a transfer resin layer after curing to manufacture a transfer member including the transfer resin layer and the film base material. May be good.

FIG. 1 is a diagram for explaining a preferred embodiment of a method for manufacturing a transfer member. The transfer member 10 shown in FIG. 1 includes a film base material 12 and a transfer resin layer 11 provided on the film base material 12. A surface shape B to which a predetermined surface shape is transferred is formed on the surface of the transfer resin layer 11 opposite to the film base material 12.

In the preparation step, in addition to the transfer member, a vacuum device for performing curing under reduced pressure, which will be described later, may be further prepared. The vacuum device may be any device capable of depressurizing a predetermined space including the transfer member, and by performing curing in the space, curing under reduced pressure, which will be described later, can be performed.

FIG. 2 is a diagram for explaining a preferred embodiment of the vacuum device. The vacuum device 20 shown in FIG. 2 includes a vacuum pad 21 for depressurizing a predetermined space including a transfer member, a control box 23 for controlling depressurization conditions, and a tube 22 for connecting the vacuum pad 21 and the control box 23. It has.

The vacuum pad 21 includes a disk-shaped plate 31 and a tubular silicon pad 32 that covers the outer periphery of the plate 31. In one aspect of the curing step, after arranging the transfer member on the decorated portion of the object via the curable resin material, the vacuum pad 21 is placed on the transfer member so as to cover the transfer member and the decorated portion. Deploy. At this time, the end portion of the silicon pad 32 is positioned so as to be in contact with the peripheral edge portion of the decorated portion of the object. As a result, the decorated portion, the curable resin material, and the transfer member are positioned in the space surrounded by the vacuum pad 21 and the object, and the curable resin material can be cured under reduced pressure. Further, the plate 31 may have a heating means, and the curable resin may be cured by heating the transfer member via the plate 31.

A vacuum pump 24 is installed in the control box 23, and the vacuum pump 24 is connected to the vacuum pad 21 via a tube 22. Further, the control box 23 includes a pressure display unit 25 that displays the decompression pressure by the vacuum pump 24, a regulator 26 that displays the decompression pressure, a temperature adjustment unit 27 that adjusts the temperature of the plate 31, and a panel that displays various information. 28 and.

The transfer member and the vacuum device according to the present embodiment are not limited to the transfer member 10 and the vacuum device 20.

(Applying process)
In the coating step, the curable resin material is coated on the decorated portion or the transfer surface of the object. When applied on the decorated portion, the curing step is carried out by placing the transfer surface of the transfer member on the applied curable resin material. When applied on the transfer surface, the transfer member is placed on the object so that the transfer surface coated with the curable resin material and the decorated portion of the object face each other, and the curing step is carried out. To. In the coating step, the curable resin material may be coated on both the decorated portion and the transfer surface of the object.

The curable resin material is a resin material that contains a curable resin and forms a decorative resin layer by curing. The curable resin material may be appropriately selected according to the desired form of the decorative article, and its composition and the like are not particularly limited.

The curable resin may be a thermosetting resin or a photocurable resin, and is preferably a thermosetting resin. The curable resin is not particularly limited, and may be, for example, an acrylic resin, a urethane resin, an epoxy resin, a phenol resin, a silicone resin, or the like.

The curable resin material may further contain components other than the curable resin. For example, the curable resin material may further contain a colorant, inorganic particles, organic particles, metal particles and the like.

The curable resin material may be applied on the decorated portion or the transfer surface without being diluted, or may be diluted with a solvent and applied on the decorated portion or the transfer surface. The solvent is not particularly limited as long as it can dissolve or disperse the curable resin material and can be easily removed by drying or the like after coating.

The coating method is not particularly limited, and may be appropriately selected depending on the shape of the decorated portion of the object, the viscosity of the curable resin material, and the like. In a preferred embodiment, the curable resin material may be applied on the decorated portion or the transfer surface by spray coating in a state of being diluted with a solvent. The conditions for spray application are not particularly limited, and may be, for example, a spray pressure of 0.2 to 0.5 MPa and a spray distance (distance from the tip of the nozzle to the object to be applied) of 5 to 30 cm.

In the coating step, it is desirable to apply the curable resin material to the region forming the decorative resin surface. Therefore, in the coating step, for example, a masking treatment is applied to a region other than the decorated portion of the object or a portion of the decorative surface other than the decorated portion, and these regions are curable. It may prevent the resin material from being applied.

(Curing process)
In the curing step, the curable material is cured in a state where the transfer surfaces are in contact with each other to form a decorative resin layer on the decorated portion. The surface shape (surface shape B) of the transfer surface is transferred to the contact surface (decorative resin surface) of the decorative resin layer with the transfer surface, and a surface shape A'having an appearance similar to the surface shape A is formed. To.

The curing method in the curing step is not particularly limited, and may be appropriately selected depending on the composition of the curable resin material and the like. For example, when the curable resin material contains a thermosetting resin, the curing step may be a step of curing the curable resin material by heating, and when the curable resin material contains a photocurable resin material, the curing step may be a step of curing the curable resin material. It may be a step of curing the curable resin material by light irradiation.

In the present embodiment, the transfer member and the object are arranged so that the transfer surface and the decorated portion face each other, and the curable resin material interposed between the transfer member and the object is cured to form a decorative resin. Layers may be formed. At this time, the transfer member may be pressed against the object. By pressing, the curable resin material interposed between the transfer member and the object easily penetrates into the unevenness of the transfer surface, and a uniform product appearance can be more easily obtained.

In the curing step, the curable resin material may be cured under reduced pressure. When the transfer surface has fine irregularities, air may remain in the recesses and the curable resin material may not be sufficiently filled in the recesses. By performing the curing under reduced pressure, even if the transfer surface has fine irregularities, the residual air in the recesses can be avoided, and the curable resin material can be sufficiently adhered to the transfer surface. The depressurizing condition is not particularly limited, and may be, for example, 0.04-0.1 MPa, preferably 0.05-0.08 MPa.

The depressurization at the time of curing may be carried out by, for example, sealing the space including the decorated portion, the transfer surface, and the curable resin material arranged between them, and depressurizing the space with a vacuum pump or the like. .. The depressurization during curing may be performed by, for example, the vacuum device described above.

The object to be decorated in the present embodiment is not particularly limited as long as it has a decorated portion capable of carrying out each of the above-mentioned steps. The decorative article produced in this embodiment is not particularly limited. The decorative article may be, for example, a product such as an automobile, a household electric appliance, a mobile phone, a game machine, a building member, a cosmetic tool, or one of the members.

[How to repair decorative items]
The repair method according to the present embodiment is a repair method for repairing a defect generated on a decorative surface in a decorative article having a decorative surface having a predetermined surface shape (surface shape A). In the repair method according to the present embodiment, the decorative article is repaired by forming a decorative resin layer having an appearance similar to the original appearance in the defective portion of the decorative article.

The repair method according to the present embodiment includes a preparatory step of preparing a transfer member having a transfer surface on which the surface shape of the decorative surface is transferred, a coating step of applying a curable resin material to the defective portion, and a transfer. A curing step is provided in which a curable resin material is cured in a state where the surfaces are in contact with each other to form a decorative resin layer having a decorative resin surface on which the surface shape of the transfer surface is transferred.

According to the repair method according to the present embodiment, by using the transfer surface to which the surface shape (surface shape A) of the decorative surface is transferred, it is possible to give an appearance similar to the decorative surface on the defective portion. .. Therefore, according to the repair method according to the present embodiment, it is possible to prevent the boundary between the repaired portion and the non-repaired portion from being conspicuous and obtain a good product appearance. Further, in the repair method according to the present embodiment, the repair is performed by curing the curable resin material applied to the repaired portion, so that it is necessary to cover the portion other than the repaired portion with a protective material or the like in the curing step. There is no. Therefore, the repair method according to the present embodiment can be said to be a repair method having excellent work efficiency.

In the present embodiment, the defective portion may be a scratch, a chip, a dent, or the like generated on the decorative surface. Further, the defective portion may be formed by removing the defective portion existing on the decorative surface (for example, bumps due to poor coating, small holes, etc.) by polishing. That is, the repair method according to the present embodiment may further include a polishing step of removing the defective portion existing on the decorative surface by polishing to form the defective portion.

In the polishing step, for example, the defective portion is removed by polishing to form a flattened defective portion. The polishing method may be appropriately selected depending on the shape of the decorative surface, the shape of the defective portion, and the like. For example, the polishing process may be sandpaper polishing, film polishing material polishing, compounding, polishing with a single or orbital sander tool, and the like.

The preparatory step may be the same step as the preparatory step in the method for manufacturing a decorative article. The transfer member prepared in the present embodiment has a transfer surface on which the surface shape of the decorative surface (surface shape A) is transferred, whereby the surface shape has an appearance similar to the appearance of the surface shape A. A'can be formed on the defect.

The transfer member prepared in the preparatory step is a transfer surface from the decorative surface of the decorative article itself to be repaired (for example, a decorative surface other than the defective portion or a decorative surface before the defective portion is generated). It may be formed. Further, the transfer member may have a transfer surface formed by using a prototype having an appearance equivalent to that of the decorative surface of the decorative article to be repaired. Further, the transfer member may be manufactured after the decorative article needs repair, or may be manufactured before the decorative article needs repair.

In the coating step, the curable resin material may be coated on the region including the defective portion. The coating step may be carried out by directly applying the curable resin material to the defective portion, and by applying the curable resin material to the transfer surface of the transfer member and then placing the transfer member on the defective portion. It may be carried out. The curable resin material and the coating method in the coating step may be the same as the coating step in the manufacturing method of the decorative article.

When the decorative surface of the decorative article is composed of a resin layer, the curable resin material applied in the coating step is a resin material capable of forming a resin layer having the same or similar composition as the resin layer. Is preferable. For example, when the decorative surface is a painted surface, it is preferable to use a paint having the same composition as the paint as the curable resin material.

In the curing step, the curable resin material is cured in a state where the transfer surfaces are in contact with each other to form a decorative resin layer on the defective portion. The surface shape (surface shape B) of the transfer surface is transferred to the contact surface (decorative resin surface) of the decorative resin layer with the transfer surface, and a surface shape A'having an appearance similar to the surface shape A is formed. To. The curing conditions and the like in the curing step may be the same as the curing step in the method for manufacturing a decorative article.

The decorative article to be repaired in the present embodiment is not particularly limited as long as it has an exterior that can be repaired by the decorative resin layer. The decorative article may be, for example, a product such as an automobile, a household electric appliance, a mobile phone, a game machine, a building member, a cosmetic tool, or one of the members.

<Confirmation test 1>
(1) Preparation of transfer member A matte coated plate was prepared as a prototype having a predetermined surface shape. A curing agent was added to the liquid silicone rubber, kneaded, and applied onto a matte coated plate. After putting it in a vacuum chamber and vacuum defoaming, a PET film was laminated and allowed to stand at room temperature to cure the resin component. As a result, a transfer member having a silicone resin layer formed on the PET film was obtained. The shore A hardness of the obtained silicone resin layer was 60 degrees. The uneven shape of the matte coating plate was transferred to the surface of the silicone resin layer opposite to the PET film.

(2) Decoration with transfer member A part of the matte painted plate was polished to form a flat decorated portion (defective portion). Add 27 parts by mass of a curing agent (BASF Japan, "H9000") to 100 parts by mass of matte paint (BASF Japan, "Silica Top"), stir, and vacuum defoam in a vacuum chamber to remove the solvent. It was volatilized to obtain a paint (curable resin material).

The obtained paint was dropped onto the decorative portion, the transfer member was placed on the paint, and heated under reduced pressure (0.06 MPa) at 150 ° C. for 5 minutes to cure the paint. The depressurization and heating were performed using the vacuum device according to the preferred embodiment described above. The pressing plate of the vacuum device had a disk shape with a diameter of 11 cm and a height of 5 cm. After the paint was cured, the transfer member was peeled off under a normal pressure environment to form a decorative resin surface having a matte appearance on the decorated portion.

From the results of this confirmation test, it was confirmed that the decorative resin surface having the same appearance as the matte surface used for producing the transfer member can be easily formed by the decoration with the transfer member. In addition, the boundary between the decorative resin surface and its surroundings (non-decorative surface) was inconspicuous, and a uniform product appearance similar to that before polishing was obtained. FIG. 3A is a diagram showing a micrograph of the decorative resin surface obtained in the confirmation test 1, and FIG. 3B is a microscope of the matte surface of the matte coated plate used in the confirmation test 1. It is a figure which shows the photograph. From these micrographs, it was confirmed that the uneven shape of the matte surface of the matte coated plate was reproduced on the decorative resin surface.

<Confirmation test 2>
