Claims (8)
- レーザ光を出射するフォトニック結晶レーザと、
前記フォトニック結晶レーザを出射したレーザ光の光路上に配置され、入射したレーザ光の一部の波長を変換する波長変換部材と、
前記波長変換部材を出射したレーザ光の光路上に配置され、前記波長変換部材の位置の前記レーザ光の像を投影する投影レンズと、
前記フォトニック結晶レーザからのレーザ光の出射を制御する第1制御装置を有し、
前記フォトニック結晶レーザは、光共振状態形成用フォトニック結晶構造と光出射用フォトニック結晶構造とが形成されているフォトニック結晶層を有し、
さらに前記フォトニック結晶レーザ構造は、相互に電気的に分離された複数の電極を備え、複数の前記電極に対応する前記フォトニック結晶層の複数の領域はそれぞれ所定の方向に前記レーザ光が出射されるように規定され、
前記第1制御装置は複数の前記電極に印加される電圧のバランスを制御することで前記レーザ光の傾斜角θおよび出射方位面Psの回転角度φを変化させ、
前記レーザ光は楕円状領域内を走査する車両用前照灯。 - 前記第1制御装置は、前記フォトニック結晶レーザから出射されるレーザ光の出力を制御する請求項1に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 前記第1制御装置は、前記フォトニック結晶レーザから出射されるレーザ光の点滅周波数を制御する請求項1に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 前記第1制御装置は、前記フォトニック結晶レーザから出射されるレーザ光のパルス幅を制御する請求項1に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 前記第1制御装置は、前記フォトニック結晶レーザから出射されるレーザ光の数を制御する請求項1に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 更に、センシング情報に基づいて配光パターンを決定する第2制御装置を含み、
前記第1制御装置は、前記第2制御装置で決定された配光パターンの情報に基づいて、前記フォトニック結晶レーザからのレーザ光の出射を制御する請求項1に記載の車両用前照灯。 - 前記第2制御装置では、書き換え可能なプログラムによって、任意の配光を動的に制御する配光制御ソフトウェアが用いられる請求項6に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 前記第1制御装置は、
前記楕円状領域の中心部を照射する前記レーザ光の出力を、左右領域を照射する前記レーザ光の出力よりも大きくなるように制御すること、
もしくは、前記楕円状領域の中心部を照射する前記レーザ光の周波数を、左右領域を照射する前記レーザ光の周波数より小さくするように制御すること、
のいずれか一方を行う、
請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の車両用前照灯。
