Description
前記信号測定には無線LANAP305が送信するビーコン(Beacon)メッセージ317が用いられることができる。信号測定後、前記(311)段階で設定された報告条件に満足すれば、端末は基地局に測定結果を報告することができる(321)。前記報告に用いられるメッセージには例えば、RRC階層のMeasurement Reportメッセージが用いられることができる。

Claims (8)
- 無線通信システムの端末によって行われる方法において、
基地局から、無線リソース制御(RRC、Radio Resource Control)接続を設定する制御メッセージを受信する段階であって、前記制御メッセージは、無線LAN(WLAN、Wireless Local Area Network)のための測定対象を設定する第1情報及び前記測定対象に対する測定の結果の報告を設定する第2情報を含み、前記第1情報は、前記測定対象の国家情報及び動作クラス(Operating Class)情報を含む、前記受信する段階と、
前記第1情報に含まれた前記国家情報及び前記動作クラス情報に基づいて識別された前記WLANのための前記測定対象に対する測定を行う段階と、
前記基地局に、前記第2情報に基づいて前記測定の結果を送信する段階と、を含むことを特徴とする、方法。 - 前記第2情報は、前記測定の結果がしきい値より大きい場合、前記端末が前記測定の結果を報告するように設定することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 無線通信システムの基地局によって行われる方法において、
端末に、無線リソース制御(RRC、Radio Resource Control)接続を設定する制御メッセージを送信する段階であって、前記制御メッセージは、無線LAN(WLAN、Wireless Local Area Network)のための測定対象を設定する第1情報及び前記測定対象に対する測定の結果の報告を設定する第2情報を含み、前記第1情報は、前記測定対象の国家情報及び動作クラス(Operating Class)情報を含む、前記送信する段階と、
前記端末から、前記第2情報に基づいて測定の結果を受信する段階と、を含み、
前記測定は、前記第1情報に含まれた前記国家情報及び前記動作クラス情報に基づいて識別された前記WLANのための前記測定対象に対して行われることを特徴とする、方法。 - 前記第2情報は、前記測定の結果がしきい値より大きい場合、前記端末が前記測定の結果を報告するように設定することを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 無線通信システムの端末において、
信号を送信及び受信するように設定された送受信部と、
前記送受信部に接続された制御部と、を含み、
前記制御部は、
基地局から、無線リソース制御(RRC、Radio Resource Control)接続を設定する制御メッセージを受信し、前記制御メッセージは、無線LAN(WLAN、Wireless Local Area Network)のための測定対象を設定する第1情報及び前記測定対象に対する測定の結果の報告を設定する第2情報を含み、前記第1情報は、前記測定対象の国家情報及び動作クラス(Operating Class)情報を含み、
前記第1情報に含まれた前記国家情報及び前記動作クラス情報に基づいて識別された前記WLANのための前記測定対象に対する測定を行い、
前記基地局に、前記第2情報に基づいて前記測定の結果を送信するように設定されることを特徴とする、端末。 - 前記第2情報は、前記測定の結果がしきい値より大きい場合、前記端末が前記測定の結果を報告するように設定することを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の端末。
- 無線通信システムの基地局において、

前記送受信部に接続された制御部と、を含み、
前記制御部は、

前記端末から、前記第2情報に基づいて測定の結果を受信するように設定され、
前記測定は、前記第1情報に含まれた前記国家情報及び前記動作クラス情報に基づいて識別された前記WLANのための前記測定対象に対して行われることを特徴とする、基地局。 - 前記第2情報は、前記測定の結果がしきい値より大きい場合、前記端末が前記測定の結果を報告するように設定することを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の基地局。
