Description
図1は、本実施の形態に係る表示装置の外観を例示する斜視図である。図2は、本実施の形態に係る表示装置の投影光学系を例示する模式図である。
図4は、本実施の形態に係るAPC制御について説明する図であり、図4(a)は図3の一点鎖線で囲まれた部分を詳細に示したブロック図であり、図4(b)はレーザ駆動回路の内部を簡略化して示したブロック図である。図5は、レーザのI−L特性の一例である。
IOUT=i1+i2=V/R+V/R=2V/Rとなる。これと式1より、fi(V)=V/Rとなり、これを変形すると、R=V/fi(V)・・・(式2)を導くことができる。式2より、分解能を2倍にするための各色のレーザと並列に接続する抵抗の抵抗値を求めると表1に示す値となる。表1に示すように、発光波長の異なる(色の異なる)各々のレーザと並列に、抵抗値の異なる抵抗が接続される。
IOUT=i1、V=V1であるから、式1より、IOUT=fi(V)となる。
第1の実施の形態の変形例では、レーザに抵抗以外の分流素子を並列に接続する例を示す。なお、第1の実施の形態の変形例において、既に説明した実施の形態と同一構成部についての説明は省略する場合がある。

Claims (5)
- 網膜走査型の表示装置であって、
標準出力レーザよりも動作電流が低い低出力レーザと、
前記低出力レーザと並列に接続された分流素子と、
前記低出力レーザ及び前記分流素子に電流を供給する駆動回路と、を有し、
前記駆動回路は、前記低出力レーザの動作電流よりも高い動作電流の範囲において電流値を段階的に調整可能な標準出力レーザ用の駆動回路であることを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記低出力レーザは、出射光の波長が異なる複数の低出力レーザを含み、
各々の前記低出力レーザと並列に、特性の異なる分流素子が並列に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記分流素子は抵抗であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 特性の異なる前記分流素子は、抵抗値の異なる抵抗であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の表示装置。
- 前記低出力レーザは、10mW以下の出射パワーで使用するレーザであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4の何れか一項に記載の表示装置。
