アッパーケースと、
前記アッパーケースと回動自在に組み合わされるロワーケースと、を備え、
前記ロワーケースは、
筒状のロワーケース本体と、
前記ロワーケース本体の外周面から径方向外方へ張り出したフランジ部と、
前記フランジ部の外周面に形成された凹部と、を有し、
前記凹部は、前記ロワーケース本体の軸方向の下方に位置する壁面が、径方向内方に向かうにつれて当該軸方向の上方へ傾斜しており、
前記ロワーケース本体の軸方向の下方に位置する前記凹部の壁面の、当該軸の垂線に対する傾きが、前記滑り軸受を支持対象に取り付けた場合における当該軸の鉛直線に対する傾きより大きい。
フランジ部32の上面33に形成され、ロワーケース3がアッパーケース2と回動自在に組み合わされた場合に、アッパーケース2のアッパーケース本体21の下面24に形成された環状凹部25に収容されて環状空間7を形成する環状凸部34と、を備えている。

- 荷重を支持する滑り軸受であって、
アッパーケースと、
前記アッパーケースと回動自在に組み合わされるロワーケースと、を備え、
前記ロワーケースは、
筒状のロワーケース本体と、
前記ロワーケース本体の外周面から径方向外方へ張り出したフランジ部と、
前記フランジ部の外周面に形成された凹部と、を有し、
前記凹部は、前記ロワーケース本体の軸方向の下方に位置する壁面が、径方向内方に向かうにつれて当該軸方向の上方へ傾斜しており、
前記ロワーケース本体の軸方向の下方に位置する前記凹部の壁面の、当該軸の垂線に対する傾きが、前記滑り軸受を支持対象に取り付けた場合における当該軸の鉛直線に対する傾きより大きい
ことを特徴とする滑り軸受。 - 請求項1に記載の滑り軸受であって、
前記凹部は、
前記フランジ部の外周面の周方向に等間隔で複数形成されている
ことを特徴とする滑り軸受。 - 請求項1または2に記載の滑り軸受であって、
前記アッパーケースと前記ロワーケースとの間に配されて、前記アッパーケースおよび前記ロワーケース間の相対的な回動を実現する環状のセンタープレートをさらに備える
ことを特徴とする滑り軸受。 - 請求項3に記載の滑り軸受であって、
前記センタープレートと前記アッパーケースあるいは前記ロワーケースとの間に配された環状の摺動シートと、をさらに備える
ことを特徴とする滑り軸受。 - 請求項1ないし4のいずれか一項に記載の滑り軸受であって
前記アッパーケースと前記ロワーケースとの隙間を外部から遮断するシール材をさらに備える
ことを特徴とする滑り軸受。 - 請求項4に記載の滑り軸受であって、
前記滑り軸受は、軸部材の回動を許容しつつ、当該軸部材に加わる荷重を支持し、
前記アッパーケースは、前記軸部材が挿入された状態で前記軸部材の支持対象に取り付けられ、
前記ロワーケースは、前記軸部材が挿入された状態で前記アッパーケースに回動自在に組み合わされ、
前記センタープレートおよび前記摺動シートは、前記軸部材が挿入された状態で、前記アッパーケースと前記ロワーケースとの間に配される
ことを特徴とする滑り軸受。
