Description
かかる構成によれば、集電端子に対して電極体が相対的に動いて一部の極板の集電端子接合用タブが切断された場合でも、全集箔用タブによって全ての極板が電気的に接続されているので、該タブが切断された極板が電気的に孤立しない。このことにより、該極板が電気的に孤立することに起因するリチウムの析出を抑制することができる。
電池ケースは、積層電極体10と電解質と集電端子70、72とを収容する容器である。本実施形態において、電池ケースは、有底角型(直方体形状)の外形を有している。電池ケースは、上端に開口部を有する扁平な有底のケース本体と、ケース本体の開口部を塞ぐ蓋体とを備えている。電池ケースの材質は、例えば、アルミニウムやスチール等の金属材料である。

Claims (2)
- 複数の極板が積層方向に積層されて構成された積層電極体と、
前記積層電極体に電気的に接続された集電端子と
を備え、
前記複数の極板は、該極板の一辺から突設された第1タブであって、前記積層方向に寄せ集められて相互に接合されるとともに、前記集電端子と接合されていない全集箔用タブをそれぞれ備えており、
前記複数の極板のうち前記積層方向の中央側に配置された複数の極板は、該極板の一辺から突設された第2タブであって、前記積層方向に寄せ集められて相互に接合されるとともに、前記集電端子と接合された集電端子接合用タブを備えており、
前記複数の極板のうち前記積層方向の中央側に配置された複数の極板以外の該積層方向の両端側に配置された複数の極板には、前記集電端子接合用タブは備えられていない、リチウムイオン二次電池。 - 前記積層方向に寄せ集められて相互に接合された前記全集箔用タブの先端部分は、該積層方向に折り返されている、請求項1に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
