Description
H2(TaF7)(水溶液)+2KF(水溶液)→K2(TaF7)(固体)+2HF(水溶液)
ヘプタフルオロタンタル酸カリウム沈殿物を収集し、溶融ナトリウムで還元して、精錬され純化されたタンタル金属を生成することができる。
K2(TaF7)(液体)+5Na(液体)→Ta(固体)+5NaF(液体)+2KF(液体)
あるいは、フッ化タンタルは、アンモニアで処理して、五酸化タンタルを沈殿させてもよい。
2H2(TaF7)(水溶液)+14NH4OH(水溶液)→Ta2O5(固体)+14NH4F(水溶液)+9H2O
アンモニアを使用する五酸化タンタルの生成は、ナトリウム還元プロセスより安価であり、したがって五酸化タンタルは、バージンのナトリウム還元タンタル金属より安価な汎用化学製品である。

Claims (6)
- 五酸化ニオブ粉末;
酸化鉄(III)粉末及び/または酸化銅(II)粉末;
過酸化バリウム粉末;
アルミニウム金属粉末;ならびに
二酸化ハフニウム粉末及び五酸化バナジウム粉末のうちの少なくとも1つ
を含む反応混合物を使用してアルミノテルミット反応を行うことを含む、
ニオブ合金を生成するための方法。 - 前記アルミノテルミット反応が、ニオブ合金レギュラス及び分離したスラグ相を生成する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ニオブ合金レギュラスを電子ビーム溶解し、ニオブ合金インゴットを生成することをさらに含む、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記ニオブ合金インゴットが、
ハフニウム及びバナジウムのうちの少なくとも1つ;ならびに
残部のニオブ及び不可避的不純物を含む、
請求項3に記載の方法。 - 五酸化ニオブ粉末;
酸化鉄(III)粉末及び/または酸化銅(II)粉末;
過酸化バリウム粉末;
アルミニウム金属粉末;
五酸化タンタル粉末;ならびに
二酸化ハフニウム粉末及び五酸化バナジウム粉末のうちの少なくとも1つ
を含む反応混合物を使用してアルミノテルミット反応を行うことを含む、
ニオブ合金を生成するための方法。 - 前記アルミノテルミット反応が、ニオブ合金レギュラス及び分離したスラグ相を生成し、前記方法が、前記ニオブ合金レギュラスを電子ビーム溶解し、ニオブ合金インゴットを生成することをさらに含み、前記ニオブ合金インゴットが、
