Claims (10)
- 距離計で情報を視認する方法であって、
風データを前記距離計内に設けられたプロセッサに提供するステップを含み、前記距離計は、ディスプレイ、測距システム、及び慣性航法ユニットを有し、
弾道学的データを前記距離計内の前記プロセッサに提供するステップを含み、
前記距離計の前記測距システムを用いて第1の標的までの距離測定値を取得するステップを含み、前記プロセッサは、前記取得した距離測定値、弾道学的データ、及び提供された風データに基づいてエレベーション及びウィンデージ保持値を計算し、
前記計算したエレベーション及びウィンデージ保持値を前記距離計ディスプレイ内で視認するステップを含み、
前記距離計の前記測距システムを用いて第2の標的までの距離測定値を取得するステップを更に含み、前記プロセッサは、前記取得した距離測定値、弾道学的データ、提供された風データ及び前記慣性航法ユニットからのデータに基づいてエレベーション及びウィンデージ保持値を計算し、
前記第2の標的について前記計算したエレベーション及びウィンデージ保持値を前記距離計ディスプレイ内で視認するステップを更に含み、
前記風データ及び前記弾道学的データは、前記第1の標的と前記第2の標的との両方について同一のデータである
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記距離計上に設けられている入力部を用いて、前記風データが前記プロセッサに提供される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記風データは、風速及び風向を含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記風向は、風指標入力を用いて前記プロセッサに提供される
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。 - 前記弾道学的データは、前記プロセッサ内に記憶されている弾道学的データである
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記慣性航法ユニットは、3軸コンパス及び3軸加速度計を有する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 当該距離計は、ワイヤレス接続方式を用いて、遠隔装置と通信可能である
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記風データを提供するステップは、前記距離計の多位置型ボタンを用いて、当該距離計が前記第1の標的に向いたときに風がやってくる場所の時計コード位置まで風指標を動かすステップを含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記風指標は、前記ディスプレイの中心に向いた矢印であり、前記ディスプレイの外縁に沿って360°回転可能である
ことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。 - 前記多位置型ボタンは、5位置ボタンである
ことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
