Description
近赤外領域の光は、水や人体への透過率の高さや、から、生体イメージング装置や糖度センサ、静脈認証装置など、様々な分野への応用が広まっている。
本発明の一態様の発光素子は非常に簡単かつ少ない操作で近赤外発光を呈する発光素子を得ることができる。
本実施の形態では、本発明の一態様の発光素子を用いた静脈認証システムについて図2を参照しながら説明する。
まず、ガラス基板上に、酸化珪素を含むインジウム錫酸化物(ITSO)をスパッタリング法にて成膜し、陰極102を形成した。なお、その膜厚は70nmとし、電極面積は2mm×2mmとした。
発光素子2は発光素子1の正孔注入層111、及び正孔輸送層112におけるDBT3P−IIを上記構造式(ii)で表される4,4−ジ(N−カルバゾリル)ビフェニル(略称:CBP)に変えた他は、発光素子1と同様に形成した。
発光素子3は発光素子1の正孔注入層111、及び正孔輸送層112におけるDBT3P−IIを上記構造式(iii)で表される4,4’,4’’−トリ(N−カルバゾリル)トリフェニルアミン(略称:TCTA)に変えた他は、発光素子1と同様に形成した。
発光素子4は発光素子1の正孔注入層111、及び正孔輸送層112におけるDBT3P−IIを上記構造式(iv)で表される4,4’−ビス[N−(1−ナフチル)−N−フェニルアミノ]ビフェニル(略称:NPB)に変えた他は、発光素子1と同様に形成した。
発光素子5は発光素子1の正孔注入層111、及び正孔輸送層112におけるDBT3P−IIを上記構造式(v)で表されるN,N’−ビス{4−[ビス(3−メチルフェニル)アミノ]フェニル}−N,N’−ジフェニル−(1,1’−ビフェニル)−4,4’−ジアミン(略称:DNTPD)に変えた他は、発光素子1と同様に形成した。

前記EL層は、第1の層、第2の層及び第3の層を有し、
前記第1の層は、前記陽極に接し、
前記第2の層は、前記第1の層と前記第3の層との間に位置し、
前記第1の層は、第1の物質と第2の物質とを含み、
前記第2の層は、第3の物質を含み、
前記第3の層は、第4の物質を含み、
前記第1の物質は、正孔輸送性を有する第1の有機化合物であり、
前記第2の物質は、前記第1の有機化合物にアクセプタ性を示す物質であり、
前記第3の物質は、前記第1の有機化合物であり、
サイクリックボルタンメトリ測定により求めた前記第1の有機化合物のHOMO準位は、−5.5eVよりも低く、
前記第4の物質は、酸化亜鉛である発光装置。 - 請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項において、
発光を呈する物質が前記酸化亜鉛である発光装置。 - 請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項において、
前記第1の層と前記第2の層が、前記第2の層と前記第3の層が各々接している発光装置。 - 請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項において、サイクリックボルタンメトリ測定により求めた前記第1の有機化合物のHOMO準位は−5.7eV以下である発光装置。
- 請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項において、
前記第2の物質が、遷移金属酸化物又は元素周期表における第4族乃至第8族に属する金属の酸化物である発光装置。 - 請求項1乃至7のいずれか一項において、
前記第2の物質が、バナジウム酸化物、ニオブ酸化物、タンタル酸化物、クロム酸化物、モリブデン酸化物、タングステン酸化物、マンガン酸化物、レニウム酸化物、チタン酸化物、ジルコニウム酸化物、ハフニウム酸化物及び銀酸化物から選ばれるいずれか一又は複数である発光装置。 - 請求項1乃至8のいずれか一項において、
前記第2の物質が、モリブデン酸化物である発光装置。 - 請求項1乃至9のいずれか一項において、
前記発光装置が発する光が、赤色領域から近赤外領域にピークを有する光である発光装置。 - 請求項1乃至10のいずれか一項において、
前記発光装置が発する光が、赤色領域から近赤外領域まで連続的に強度を有する光である発光装置。 - 請求項1乃至11のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置を用いた静脈認証システム。
- 請求項1乃至11のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置を用いた透過型静脈認証システム。
