Description

本発明は、2種類の薬液を混合して製造される発泡樹脂の製造装置に関する。
従来、発泡樹脂成形品、例えば発泡シリコン成形品を製造する方法として、液状シリコンと発泡剤との混合材料を成形型内に充填した後発泡させて所定形状の発泡シリコン部品を成型する様にした方法が見受けられる(例えば、特許文献1参照)。
特開2000−254927号公報
しかし、上記従来技術にあっては、例えば成形体内に別部品を内蔵させる場合、成形型内に充填した後発泡して徐々に膨張しながら徐々に硬化していくため、成形型内にセットされた別部品が徐々に膨張、硬化する混合材料に押圧されて、別部品の位置ズレが発生したり、最悪のケースとして別部品が破損してしまう危険性があるなど、解決せねばならない課題があった。
本発明は、上記従来技術に基づく、成形型内への充填後に発泡して徐々に膨張しながら硬化してしまう課題に鑑み、2種類の薬液の供給部と、該薬液供給部から供給された前記2種類の薬液を混合するミキサーとを有し、少なくとも一方の薬液供給部の薬液貯留タンクに、貯留された薬液に加圧溶解させる気体の貯留タンクを接続して、前記2種類の薬液の混合材料が外部吐出した瞬間に溶解した気体成分を発泡可能にしたことにより、硬化反応進行前の軟質な混合材料が成形型内に発泡膨張状態で充填した後に完全硬化可能にして、上記課題を解決する。
要するに本発明は、2種類の薬液の供給部と、該薬液供給部から供給された前記2種類の薬液を混合するミキサーとを有し、少なくとも一方の薬液供給部の薬液貯留タンクに、貯留された薬液に加圧溶解させる気体の貯留タンクを接続して、前記2種類の薬液の混合材料が外部吐出した瞬間に溶解した気体成分を発泡可能にしたので、発泡が完了した硬化未了の柔らかい混合材料を充填可能なため、他部品を埋め込む際の位置ズレ、破損を防止することが出来る。
又、どの様な樹脂、ゴムであっても、フォーム、スポンジの様な多孔質にすることが出来るため、成形された製品の軽量化を図ることが出来る。
2液混合システムでは、2種類の薬液の配合比が重要で、気泡を含んだ薬液の供給量は液体用の計量手段では事実上不可能であることから、本発明では薬液に気体成分が溶解状態であるため、液体用の計量手段で正確に計測することが出来る等その実用的効果甚だ大である。
本発明に係る発泡樹脂製造装置の概略図である。
本発明に係る発泡樹脂製造装置は、基本的に、2種類の薬液A、B(例えば、主剤A及び硬化剤B)の供給部1、2と、該薬液供給部1、2から供給された2種類の薬液を混合するミキサー3とを有している。
薬液供給部1、2は、薬液A、Bを貯留するタンク4、5と、該貯留タンク4、5とミキサー3との間に設けた薬液A、Bの流路6、7とを有している。
一方の薬液Aの貯留タンク4は、貯留された薬液Aに加圧溶解させる気体の貯留タンク8を接続している。
薬液流路6、7は、上流端を薬液貯留タンク4、5の下部に、下流端をミキサー3の流入口3a、3bに接続し、中間部にポンプ10、11を設けて、該ポンプ10、11により薬液貯留タンク4、5内の薬液A、Bを設定量計量して、薬液流路6、7、流入口3a、3bを介してミキサー3内に供給可能に、混合された薬液A、Bの混合材料をミキサー3下部のノズル3cから外部吐出可能にし、該ノズル3cの内径を小径にしたり、内部にオリフィスを設けたりして、加圧状態を維持可能にして、吐出前での発泡を防止可能にしている。
薬液流路6、7におけるポンプ10、11より下流側に切替弁12、13を設け、該切替弁12、13は1つの流入口と2つの出口を有し、薬液流路6、7の上流部位の下流端を切替弁12、13の流入口に、薬液流路6、7の下流部位の上流端を切替弁12、13の一方の出口に接続すると共に、切替弁12、13の他方の出口と薬液貯留タンク4、5の上部との間に薬液A、Bの戻し流路14、15を設けている。
戻し流路14、15に圧力調整弁16、17を設けて、薬液供給部1、2内での発泡を確実に防止可能にしている。
そして、先ず貯留タンク8から一方の薬液貯留タンク4に気体を供給して必要量を薬液Aに加圧溶解させ、次に切替弁12、13により一方の出口を開き他方の出口を閉じて、両方の薬液A、Bを薬液貯留タンク4、5から、薬液流路6、7、流入口3a、3bを介してミキサー3内に設定量供給し、次に該ミキサー3内で薬液A、Bを混合し、混合完了後にミキサー3下部のノズル3cから混合材料を外部吐出して、混合材料が内部で瞬時に発泡し膨張して徐々に硬化して、発泡樹脂成形品が製造される。
又、切替弁12、13により一方の出口を閉じ他方の出口を開いて薬液A、Bを、薬液貯留タンク4、5から、薬液流路6、7、戻し流路14、15を介して薬液貯留タンク4、5に戻すことで、薬液A、Bを循環させて、薬液供給部1、2内の薬液A、Bを均質化可能にすることで、発泡樹脂製品の品質が均一化される。
尚、本発明の製造方法及び製造装置の樹脂は、2液混合タイプのものであれば何でも良い。
又、薬液A、Bの混合材料の粘度及びその経時変化(チキソトロピー)、硬化速度を状況に応じて適宜設定することで、硬化するまでに混合材料から気体成分が抜けて気泡が消失しない様にしている。
又、上記実施例では、一方の薬液貯留タンク4だけに貯留タンク8が接続されているが、要するに薬液貯留タンク4、5の少なくとも一方に貯留タンク8が接続されていれば良い。

  1. 2種類の薬液の供給部と、該薬液供給部から供給された前記2種類の薬液を混合するミキサーとを有し、少なくとも一方の薬液供給部の薬液貯留タンクに、貯留された薬液に加圧溶解させる気体の貯留タンクを接続して、前記2種類の薬液の混合材料が外部吐出した瞬間に溶解した気体成分を発泡可能にしたことを特徴とする発泡樹脂の製造装置
