Claims (12)
- シート状インプラントを外科的部位に送達するための送達システムであって、
遠位端部、近位端部、および前記近位端部から前記遠位端部まで延在する内腔を特徴とする送達チューブ、
遠位端部および近位端部を有する第1の展開アーム、
遠位端部および近位端部を有する第2の展開アーム、ならびに
遠位端部および近位端部を有する押し棒シャフトであって、前記押し棒シャフトの遠位端部が、前記第1の展開アームの近位端部および前記第2の展開アームの近位端部に取り付けられた、押し棒シャフト
を備える送達チューブ組立体と、
駆動ハンドルとを備え、
前記送達チューブ組立体が前記駆動ハンドルに動作可能に連結され、それにより、前記駆動ハンドルを操作することによって、前記送達チューブの前記内腔の中で前記押し棒シャフトが並進し、
前記第1の展開アームおよび第2の展開アームが、前記送達チューブの前記内腔よりも幅広い開構成に向かって弾性的に付勢され、前記送達チューブの前記内腔の中に前記展開アームを配設することができる閉構成になるよう圧縮可能であり、
それぞれの展開アームが、実質的に前記展開アームの長さにわたって通る長手方向スロットを備え、それぞれの前記スロットが、前記展開アームのスロットと前記シート状インプラントとの摩擦嵌めによって前記シート状インプラントの一部分を保持するようにサイズ設定され、
前記押し棒シャフトの一部分が、前記送達チューブの前記近位端部から近位方向に延在し、前記送達チューブ組立体がさらに、前記送達チューブの前記近位端部の近くに配設されたフランジを備え、前記押し棒シャフトがさらに、前記送達チューブの前記近位端部から近位方向に延在する前記押し棒シャフトの前記一部分に配設されたピンを備え、
前記駆動ハンドルが、前記フランジを受けるようにサイズ設定および寸法設定されたリテーナ・スロットであって、前記送達チューブを前記駆動ハンドルに長手方向に固定するリテーナ・スロットを備え、
前記駆動ハンドルがさらに、前記駆動ハンドルに対して長手方向にヨークを並進させるために前記ヨークに動作可能に連結されたトリガを備え、前記ヨークが、前記送達チューブの前記近位端部から近位方向に延在する前記押し棒シャフトの前記一部分を受けるよう
にサイズ設定および寸法設定された、長手方向に配向されたスロットと、前記押し棒シャフトの前記ピンを受けるようにサイズ設定および寸法設定された横方向スロットであって、前記押し棒シャフトを前記ヨークに固定する横方向スロットとを備え、それにより、前記送達チューブ組立体が前記駆動ハンドルに取り付けられたときに、前記トリガを操作することによって、前記送達チューブ内で前記押し棒シャフトが長手方向に並進する、送達システム。 - シート状インプラントをさらに備え、前記シート状インプラントの第1の部分が、前記第1の展開アームの前記長手方向スロット内に配設され、前記シート状インプラントの第2の部分が、前記第2の展開アームの前記長手方向スロット内に配設される、請求項1に記載の送達システム。
- 前記送達チューブ組立体が、前記駆動ハンドルに解放可能に取り付けられる、請求項1に記載の送達システム。
- 前記送達チューブの前記内腔の中に配設されたホルダをさらに備え、前記ホルダは、遠位端部および近位端部を有し、前記ホルダの遠位端部が、前記送達チューブの前記遠位端部から遠位方向に延在し、前記ホルダの遠位端部が、前記シート状インプラントの上面に動作可能に連結されることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の送達システム。
- 前記送達チューブが、前記押し棒シャフトの周りに回転可能である、請求項1に記載の送達システム。
- 前記シート状インプラントの送達チューブ組立体と流体連通する流体マニホールドをさらに備え、前記送達チューブが、前記送達チューブの遠位端部の近くの前記送達チューブの側壁に孔をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の送達システム。
- 前記押し棒シャフトの一部分が前記送達チューブの前記近位端部から近位方向に延在し、前記送達チューブ組立体が、前記送達チューブの前記近位端部の近くに配設されたフランジをさらに備え、
前記駆動ハンドルが、前記フランジを受けるようにサイズ設定および寸法設定されたリテーナ・スロットであって、前記送達チューブを前記駆動ハンドルに長手方向に固定するリテーナ・スロットを備え、
前記駆動ハンドルがさらに、前記押し棒シャフトに動作可能に連結されるスライド・アクチュエータをさらに備え、前記スライド・アクチュエータを操作することによって、前記送達チューブ内で前記押し棒シャフトが長手方向に並進する、請求項1に記載の送達システム。 - 前記押し棒シャフトが、前記押し棒シャフトの前記遠位端部の近くで屈曲可能である、請求項1に記載の送達システム。
- 前記押し棒シャフトが、前記押し棒シャフトの前記遠位端部の近くでヒンジ連結された、請求項1に記載の送達システム。
- 流体源と流体連通する送達針をさらに備え、前記送達針が、前記送達チューブの前記内腔の中に配設され、前記送達針は、遠位端部および近位端部を有し、前記送達針の遠位端部が、前記送達チューブの前記遠位端部から遠位方向に延在し、前記送達針の近位端部が
