Claims (6)
- エラストマー材料を処理する方法であって、前記方法は、
第1の熱への曝露をすでに有し、第1の半径方向強度を有するエラストマー・チュービングのセグメントを提供するステップと、
所定の曝露時間にわたって、特定の温度において、熱への曝露によって前記セグメントを加熱するステップと、
75キログレイの特定の放射線量によって前記セグメントを照射することによって、前記第1の半径方向強度を、前記第1の半径方向強度よりも大きい第2の半径方向強度へ増加させるステップと、
エラストマー・チュービングの強化されたセグメントとして、前記セグメントを提供するステップと
を含む、方法。 - 前記曝露時間は2時間であり、前記特定の温度は華氏400度である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- エラストマー・チュービングのセグメントを提供するステップは、シリコン・ベースのエラストマー・チュービングのセグメントを提供するステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
