Description
塊茎の処置のための低温噴霧における使用に好適な組成物を下記の通り調製した。オレンジ油、食品グレードを出発材料として選択した。このリモネンリッチのテルペン油に、乳化性界面活性剤、具体的に非イオン性界面活性剤及びイオン性界面活性剤を添加した。組成物は、リモネン抗酸化剤を更に含んだ。リストされた組成物に、溶媒は添加しなかった。組成物は、表1に提供される。

第2の実施例、実施例1に係る600ECリモネン組成物の使用について、ジャガイモの処置が示される。処置のスケジュールは、表2にまとめられる。

本願では、リモネンを含む組成物の低温噴霧の技術が示される。処置のプロトコルは、表3にまとめられる。
−処置前約15分間、自動調節をオフにし、手動の内部換気をオンにし(フォースIII)、用いられた換気率は、約900m3/hに相当する。それは、留まる空気循環をかきまわす。
−セル中の塊茎の正確な重量が分かるので、配合された製品の正確な量を、算出し、調製した。
−スプレー/噴霧の間及びスプレー後約15分間まで、内部換気のスイッチをオンにしたままにし(フォースIII)、製品と塊茎との間の良好な接触を保証した。
−スプレー後約15分、内部換気のスイッチをオフにした。
−(スプレーの終わった後最小12時間)の後の日に、次の適用まで又は試験の終わりまで、自動調節のスイッチをオンにした。
表3:処置のプロトコル
実施例2に記載される処置から得られた処置された農作物における品質管理試験を実行した。ジャガイモ材料について、2つの種々の、食味試験及びフライカラー試験は、それぞれ、リサーチセンターであるPCA及びCRA−Wで行われた。
フライカラー試験を、CKA−標準法を用いて行い、the Munsell USDA Frozen French Fry Standardに準拠し、フライの色を評価した。
ジャガイモのフライの質を試験するために、1cm×1cmの幅を有する塊茎の中心から取られた「中心の」フライ20個があった。それらを水ですすぎ、その後短時間、好ましくは10分間で乾燥した。乾燥後、それらを3分間熱油に置いた。油の温度は180℃であった。フライした後、その色をカラーカードと比較し、スコアをつけた。
2.5以下:優良、2.5〜3.0:良好、3.0〜3.5:中程度、3.5〜4.0:並、及び4.0超:悪い

図1は、両方のフライ色試験の試験結果を表す。本試験は、毎週の適用を含む本発明の第1の態様に係る方法が、Mussel USDA カラー試験において、非処置のサンプル及びミント油で処置したサンプルよりも、より良好な成果(値が低いと良好である)を有することを示す。リモネンを含む組成物の適用において、3週間毎の間隔は、ミント油の適用よりも更に良好である。
袋詰め及びセルの頂部との間の保存セルの上部において、ジャガイモのミスト機VEUGENを用いた低温噴霧による適用を介して、3週間毎に、100%のオレンジ油を用いて、ジャガイモを処置した。

品種:ビンチェ、イノベーター、及びニコラからのジャガイモを保存室で保存し、抗出芽処置における種々の製品で、各保存室(試験番号)を処置した。表5は、各保存室の処置条件を表す。BIO−024は、少なくとも900gのリモネン/リットルを含むオレンジ油を表す。BIOX Mは、抗出芽剤として商業的に利用可能なミント油系の製品の商標名である。Gro Stop fogは、ジャガイモの出芽の処置のためのCIPC含有製品の商標名である。

スペアミント油処置とオレンジ油処置との間の比較を行った。スペアミント油処置は、主にカルボン(65%〜85%)をベースとし、電気による噴霧のために配合させた製品であるBiox Mを用いた。オレンジ油処置は、リモネン(少なくとも900gのリモネン/リットル)の含量を増加させたオレンジ油であるBIO024を用いた。処置の1つのグループとしては、低温噴霧(グループA)であり、他のグループとしては、高温噴霧、詳細には電気による噴霧によるものであった。非処置試験も同様に含まれた。処置条件(保存温度、換気、湿度、用いられた品種、荷積み/荷降ろし/散布)は、同じであった。ジャガイモは、2014年9月23日に収穫し、2014年9月30日に実験用の保存室に積んだ。ジャガイモを乾燥し、その後7℃まで冷却した。最初の適用は、2014年10月21日に行われた。
高温噴霧によるジャガイモの品種(ビンチェ、シャーロット、及びニコラ)上のBIO024(940g/lのオレンジ油)の適用における幾つかのタイミングでの評価を行った。結果を図5にまとめる。
Claims (20)
- 芽を有する塊茎の芽の除去のための、噴霧による適用に好適な組成物であって、
少なくとも3ヶ月の塊茎の保存期間に対して、少なくとも3日間毎〜6週間毎に繰り返し適用され、
前記組成物の総重量に対するリモネンの重量として、少なくとも50%のリモネンを含み、
500g/l〜750g/lのリモネン、10重量%未満の溶媒、及び1以上のエマルション安定化界面活性剤を含む乳剤(EC)の形態であり、
塊茎に適用されるとき、塊茎1トン当たり60mlから400mlの容量のリモネンが塊茎に提供されることを特徴とする組成物。 - 600g/l〜650g/lのリモネン、及び240g/l〜260g/lの前記1以上のエマルション安定化界面活性剤を含む請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 合成の芽の阻害剤を含んでいない請求項1に記載の組成物。
- リモネンが精油として含まれている請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記リモネンが、90%超のD−リモネンの形態である請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記精油が、オレンジ油、レモン油、ライム油、グレープフルーツ油、及びタンジェリン油からなる群から選択される請求項4に記載の組成物。
- 5重量%未満の溶媒又は水を含む請求項1に記載の組成物。
