Claims (15)
- 可撓性の細長い部材と、

半導体基板上に形成された、制御回路の複数のトランジスタと、

を有する当該半導体基板を含み、
前記超音波スキャナアセンブリが丸められた形態であるときに、前記半導体基板が、実質的に円筒形状を有するように湾曲され、
前記超音波スキャナアセンブリが前記丸められた形態であるときに、前記複数のトランジスタ及び前記複数の超音波トランスデューサが円筒形構成で構成される、
超音波撮像デバイス。 - 前記複数の超音波トランスデューサの各トランスデューサが、並列に電気接続された複数のトランスデューサ要素を含む、請求項1に記載の超音波撮像デバイス。
- 前記複数のトランスデューサ要素がCMUTトランスデューサ要素を含む、請求項2に記載の超音波撮像デバイス。
- 前記複数のトランスデューサ要素が薄膜圧電トランスデューサ要素を含む、請求項2に記載の超音波撮像デバイス。
- 前記複数の超音波トランスデューサの各トランスデューサが、少なくとも2グループのトランスデューサ要素を含み、前記少なくとも2グループのトランスデューサ要素が、前記制御回路によって個別にアドレス指定可能である、請求項1に記載の超音波撮像デバイス。
- 前記半導体基板が、元素半導体基板及び化合物半導体基板の1つを含み、前記超音波スキャナアセンブリが前記丸められた形態であるときに、前記元素半導体基板及び前記化合物半導体基板の前記1つが円筒形状を有するように湾曲される、請求項1に記載の超音波撮像デバイス。
- 前記複数のトランジスタ及び前記複数の超音波トランスデューサの上に形成された絶縁層を更に備え、それにより、前記超音波スキャナアセンブリが前記丸められた形態であるときに、前記絶縁層が、前記複数のトランジスタ及び前記複数の超音波トランスデューサの外側である、請求項1に記載の超音波撮像デバイス。
- 前記超音波スキャナアセンブリが、前記丸められた形態であるときに前記半導体基板の前記円筒形状内に配設されるフェルールを更に含む、請求項1に記載の超音波撮像デバイス。

- 丸め可能な前記半導体基板が、10μm未満又は実質的に10μmの厚さを有する、請求項1に記載の超音波撮像デバイス。
- 超音波撮像デバイスを製造する方法であって、
半導体基板を受け取るステップと、
トランジスタを前記半導体基板上に形成するステップと、
超音波トランスデューサを前記半導体基板上に形成するステップと、
前記トランジスタを有する前記半導体基板と、前記半導体基板上に形成された前記超音波トランスデューサとを、実質的に円筒形状を有するように丸めるステップとを含む、
方法。 - 前記半導体基板を10μm未満又は実質的に10μmの厚さに薄層化するステップを含む、前記半導体基板を丸める前記ステップの前に、前記半導体基板を剛性の状態から丸め可能な状態に変えるためのプロセスを実施するステップを更に含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記半導体基板を薄層化する前記ステップが、研削と化学機械的研磨プロセスとの1つを含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
