Description
(1)表面弾性波は、弾性媒体の表面上に沿って伝播する機械波であり、エネルギーの大部分は媒体表面に集中し、深度が深くなるに従って減衰する指数を表す。そのエネルギーの指向的集中特性が、霧状化効率を高め、連続的に安定して粒径が均一な所望のエアロゾルを生成することができ、超音波と比較して更に適合した高粘度のたばこ液を霧状化する。これ以外に、表面弾性波の励振周波数は、通常10MHz〜500MHzであり、超音波の20kHz〜3MHzより一桁以上高い程度の数量である。エアロゾルの粒径と周波数との関係式d=0.34×3√(8πλ/ρf2)(ここで、dはエアロゾルの粒径であり、λはたばこ液の表面張力であり、ρはたばこ液の密度であり、fは励振周波数である)を知ることによって、エアロゾルの粒径は励振周波数の2/3乗に反比例することとなる。このために、超音波霧状化と比較して、表面弾性波の霧状化が生成するエアロゾルの粒径は更に小さく、口腔粘膜或いは舌面の上に残留しにくく、吸引の快適性が更に強く、香りの純正な繊細さをまた更に加える。

Claims (6)
- 圧電基板(1)、誘導液キャビティ(2)、霧状化キャビティ(3)、及び給電ポート(4)を含み、前記誘導液キャビティ(2)と前記霧状化キャビティ(3)は前記圧電基板(1)の表面上に設けられ、前記誘導液キャビティ(2)と前記霧状化キャビティ(3)の中間には隔離板(13)が設けられ、前記給電ポート(4)は前記圧電基板(1)の外側に設けられ、前記誘導液キャビティ(2)は第1のインターデジタルトランスデューサー(51)、貯液槽(6)、及び微流道(8)を含み、前記第1のインターデジタルトランスデューサー(51)と前記微流道(8)は前記貯液槽(6)の両側に配置され、前記貯液槽(6)と前記微流道(8)は相互に連通し、前記貯液槽(6)の頂部には注液ポート(7)が有り、前記霧状化キャビティ(3)の底部には出液ポート(9)を介して前記微流道(8)に嵌入されたT字型繊維紙(10)が設けられ、T字型繊維紙(10)の両側に且つT字型繊維紙(10)とは接触しないで第2のインターデジタルトランスデューサー(52)と第3のインターデジタルトランスデューサー(53)が配置され、前記霧状化キャビティ(3)の側部に入気ポート(11)が設けられ、前記霧状化キャビティ(3)の頂部に吸引ノズル(12)が設けられている、ことを特徴とする、表面弾性波電子たばこシステム。
- 前記第1のインターデジタルトランスデューサー(51)、貯液槽(6)、微流道(8)、第2のインターデジタルトランスデューサー(52)、第3のインターデジタルトランスデューサー(53)、及びT字型繊維紙(10)が、何れも圧電基板(1)の表面に取り付けられている、ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の表面弾性波電子たばこシステム。
- 前記圧電基板(1)の材料が、石英、圧電セラミックス、タンタル酸リチウム、又はニオブ酸リチウムのうちの1つである、ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の表面弾性波電子たばこシステム。
- 前記圧電基板(1)は、YカットXが128.68°の方向のニオブ酸リチウムであり、その厚さ、機械電気結合係数、温度係数、及び表面弾性波の伝播速度が、それぞれ、0.5mm、5.5%、−72×10−6/℃、及び3992m/sである、ことを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の表面弾性波電子たばこシステム。
- 前記第1のインターデジタルトランスデューサー(51)が励起した進行波パターンの表面弾性波が、貯液槽(6)内に入れられたたばこ液を、前記微流道(8)の出液ポート(9)まで主導してポンピングし、前記第2のインターデジタルトランスデューサー(52)と前記第3のインターデジタルトランスデューサー(53)が共同作用して生成した定常波パターンの表面弾性波が、前記T字型繊維紙(10)上のたばこ液の液膜を霧状化しエアロゾルを生成する、ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の表面弾性波電子たばこシステム。
- 前記貯液槽(6)及び前記微流道(8)の材料が、高ホウケイ酸ガラス又はポリジメチルオキソシランであり、前記T字型繊維紙(10)が、有機多孔材料である、ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の表面弾性波電子たばこシステム。
