Description

Claims (10)
- 遠位端に光学系を有する挿入チューブを含む本体を備えた内視鏡と共に使用される使い捨てシースデバイスであって、
上記挿入チューブを覆い、当該挿入チューブを本体汚染から保護するための第1管腔と、
上記第1管腔の近位端に取り付けられ、上記使い捨てシースデバイスを上記内視鏡の本体に接続するように構成および配置されたコネクタと、
所望のツールを収容する半径を有し、ある長さにわたって上記第1管腔の外側に取り付けられ、インサートを内部に有する第2管腔と、を備え、
上記インサートは、上記第2管腔と長さが釣り合い、
上記インサートは、当該インサートの長さにわたって延在する長手方向のスリットが形成された管状本体を備え、
上記スリットは、上記第2管腔の長手軸に平行に延在し、上記第2管腔の半径よりも大きい半径を有するデバイスを収容するために半径方向の拡張を可能にする、使い捨てシースデバイス。 - 上記第1管腔の近位端に取り付けられた上記コネクタは、さらに、異なる長さの挿入チューブを収容するように長手方向に延在するように構成および配置された、請求項1に記載の使い捨てシースデバイス。
- 上記コネクタは、以下(a)〜(d)から選択される長手方向拡張デバイスを含む、請求項2に記載の使い捨てシースデバイス。
(a)スプリングであって、当該スプリングが圧縮されるときに収容され得るよりも長い挿入チューブを有する内視鏡を収容するために長手方向に拡張するスプリング。
(b)複数のエラストマーバンドであって、当該複数のエラストマーバンドが伸ばされていないときに収容され得るよりも長い挿入チューブを有する内視鏡を収容するために当該複数のエラストマーバンドを伸ばすことによって上記コネクタを長手方向に拡張するためにエンドピースに固定的に取り付けられる複数のエラストマーバンド。
(c)エラストマー管状部分であって、当該エラストマー管状部分が伸ばされていないときに収容され得るよりも長い挿入チューブを有する内視鏡を収容するために当該エラストマー管状部分を伸ばすことによって上記コネクタを長手方向に拡張するためにエンドピースに固定的に取り付けられるエラストマー管状部分。
(d)ベローズ部分であって、当該ベローズ部分が伸ばされていないときに収容され得るよりも長い挿入チューブを有する内視鏡を収容するために当該ベローズ部分を伸ばすことによって上記コネクタを長手方向に拡張するためにエンドピースに固定的に取り付けられるベローズ部分。 - 上記使い捨てシースデバイスを上記内視鏡の本体に接続するように構成および配置される、上記コネクタに取り付けるためのアダプタをさらに備える、請求項1または2に記載の使い捨てシースデバイス。
- 上記第1管腔が、医療用途に適した可撓性材料で作製されたチューブを含む、請求項1から4の何れか1項に記載の使い捨てシースデバイス。
- 上記第2管腔が、医療用途に適した可撓性材料で作製されたチューブを含む、請求項1から4の何れか1項に記載の使い捨てシースデバイス。
- 上記可撓性材料は、半径方向の拡張に対して弾性を有する、請求項6に記載の使い捨てシースデバイス。
- 上記インサートが、上記第2管腔の摩擦係数よりも低い摩擦係数を有する、請求項1から7の何れか1項に記載の使い捨てシースデバイス。
- 上記第1管腔及び上記第2管腔はいずれも、可撓性ポリウレタン材料で作製されたチューブを含む、請求項1から8の何れか1項に記載の使い捨てシースデバイス。
- 上記インサートが、可撓性を有するMylar(登録商標)材料から作製される、請求項1から9の何れか1項に記載の使い捨てシースデバイス。
