Description
本出願は、2013年6月27日出願の米国特許仮出願第61/840,408号、2013年10月21日出願の米国特許仮出願第61/893,816号、及び2013年8月16日出願の米国特許仮出願第61/959,144号に対する優先権の利益を主張するものであり、各出願の全体を参照により本明細書に組み込む。本出願は、2012年3月7日出願のPCT/US12/028071にも関連し、この出願を全体を参照により本明細書に組み込む。
排出ライン112、次にフォーリー・カテーテルを通じて患者の膀胱に送出される真空は、真空が適所にない場合よりも良好な排出を促進する。一態様では、真空は、尿収集デバイス又は貯蔵器5に取り付けた蛇腹111によってもたらされる。蛇腹111は、その自然状態では拡張するが、尿カテーテルが患者体内に挿入される前に圧縮させる。カテーテルを所定位置に置くと、蛇腹111は解放され、回復力により尿収集デバイス内に負圧がもたらされる。別の実施形態では、回復力は、蛇腹111内のばねによってもたらすこともできる。別の態様では、真空は、ポンプによってもたらされる。ポンプは、限定はしないが、ダイアフラム・ポンプ、ぜん動ポンプ又はベーン・ポンプを含むあらゆる適切なポンプとすることができる。ポンプは、壁電源、バッテリ、人力又はあらゆる他の適切な供給源によって電力供給できる。別の態様では、真空は0から−50mmHgの範囲内である。
この閉塞物を掃除するために、圧力を急激に低下させ、膀胱内の圧力と一致するまで、マッサージ・ローラを使用して更なる負圧を生成できる。このことは、閉塞物が排除されたことを示す。更に別の実施形態では、血栓によるもの等の閉塞は、排出管腔/管の内径のみを大きくするか、又は膀胱から排出バッグまで同じ大きさに維持することを保証することによって防止できる。その逆のことが起こると、進行を阻害する障害を引き起こす可能性があり、障害部位となることがある。
Claims (20)
- 流体圧力感知組立体において、
長さ部及び拡張可能保持部材を有するカテーテルであって、前記拡張可能保持部材は、前記カテーテルの遠位端付近又は前記遠位端に位置し、前記カテーテルは、少なくとも部分的に前記カテーテルの前記長さ部を通る排出管腔を画定し、前記排出管腔の遠位端が前記カテーテルの前記遠位端付近又は前記遠位端に画定した排出開口で終端するようにする、カテーテル;
排出管及び貯蔵器であって、前記排出管が前記排出開口と流体連通するように前記排出管腔に流体結合され、流体が、前記排出管腔を通して、前記排出開口に受け入れられる、排出管および貯蔵器;
一方向弁を有し、且つ前記排出管と連通するとともに前記排出管に対して通気するように構成される通気機構;
前記排出管を通る流体の流れが妨げられないように、前記排出管内で流体に及ぼされる負圧を形成するように連通されたポンプと、を備える流体圧力感知組立体。 - 前記カテーテルの前記遠位端付近又は前記遠位端に位置する圧力感知機構であって、前記圧力感知機構が、前記圧力感知機構に加わる圧力の変化に応答して信号を生成する、圧力感知機構を備える、請求項1に記載の組立体。
- 前記圧力感知機構によって感知した圧力変化に部分的に基づいて腹腔内圧を決定するように構成した制御装置を更に備える、請求項2に記載の組立体。
- 患者のデータを記憶するように構成される制御装置を更に備える、請求項1に記載の組立体。
- 前記ポンプは、負圧を形成するためにタイマーを介して周期的に作動されるように構成されている、請求項1に記載の組立体。
- 前記ポンプは、前記負圧を形成するように自動的に作動されるように構成されている、請求項1に記載の組立体。
- 前記ポンプは、エアロックの検出時に前記負圧を形成するために周期的に作動されるように構成されている、請求項1に記載の組立体。
- 前記エアロックは、尿の排出に基づいて検出される、請求項7に記載の組立体。
- 前記エアロックは、前記貯蔵器内の感知された圧力に基づいて検出される、請求項7に記載の組立体。
- 前記カテーテルは、フォーリー型カテーテルを含む、請求項1に記載の組立体。
- 前記圧力感知機構は、機械的圧力センサ又は光ファイバ圧力センサを備える、請求項2に記載の組立体。
- 前記圧力感知機構は、圧力感知バルーンを備える、請求項2に記載の組立体。
- 前記流体と連通する分析物センサを更に備える、請求項1に記載の組立体。
- 前記分析物センサは、pH、気体、電解質、代謝基質、代謝物、酵素及びホルモンからなる群から選択される分析物を感知するように構成される、請求項13に記載の組立体。
- 1つ又は複数の電気活動センサを更に備える、請求項1に記載の組立体。
- 前記圧力感知機構を介して収集されたデータが、睡眠の持続時間または質を検出するために使用される、請求項2に記載の組立体。
- 前記圧力感知機構を介して収集されたデータが、患者の動きを検出するために使用される、請求項2に記載の組立体。
- 前記圧力感知機構を介して収集されたデータは、患者の水分を検出するために使用される、請求項2に記載の組立体。
