Description
本発明は、こうした従来技術の問題を解決することを技術課題としており、振動の抑制効果が一層高い工具ホルダを提供することを目的としている。
図6において、工作機械100は横形マシニングセンタを構成しており、複数の工具Tを収納する工具マガジン120と、工具マガジン120に収納された工具Tの1つと、工作機械100の主軸108の先端に装着された工具Tとを交換する工具交換装置140を備える。工作機械100、工具マガジン120および工具交換装置140はカバー130によって包囲されている。工具Tはエンドミルのような回転工具であるが、本明細書では単に工具Tと記載する。

Claims (3)
- 工作機械の主軸に装着される工具を把持する工具ホルダにおいて、
工作機械の主軸のクランプ機構で該主軸に把持される工具ホルダ把持部と、
工具ホルダの中心軸線に沿って工具ホルダ把持部より先端側に工具ホルダ把持部と一体で形成されたボス部と、
工具ホルダの中心軸線に沿ってボス部に形成された工具装着穴と、
工具装着穴の周囲に工具ホルダの中心軸線を中心として渦巻状に延びるようにボス部に形成された少なくとも1本の渦巻溝と、
工具ホルダの中心軸線に沿って延びる軸方向通路と、
工具ホルダの中心軸線に関して半径方向に渦巻溝を横断して延びる径方向通路と、
を具備し、
前記径方向通路が、一端において軸方向通路に開口しており、径方向通路を介し渦巻溝が軸方向通路に連通することを特徴とした工具ホルダ。 - 工具ホルダの中心軸線に関して対称に配置された2本の渦巻溝を備える請求項1に記載の工具ホルダ。
- 工具ホルダ把持部とボス部との間で半径方向に突出したフランジ部を更に備え、該フランジ部は、その外周面に沿って延びる周溝が形成されている請求項1に記載の工具ホルダ。
