Description
以下、燃料供給装置が適用されるエンジンシステムの実施形態について図面を参照しつつ説明する。本実施形態では、エンジンシステムは、ガス燃料である圧縮天然ガス(CNG)を燃料として使用する車載用のエンジンシステムとして具体化している。本システムの全体概略図を図1に示す。
・高温状態では、潤滑油内の炭化水素等が固体化し、固体化した物質がインジェクタ21の噴孔の開口縁部に留まることにより、インジェクタ21の開弁異常を生じさせる場合がある。そこで、制御装置80は、ガス燃料の燃料温度Tfが、判定値TH1より高温の判定値TH2以上と判定した場合に、添加部50による潤滑油のガス燃料への添加を禁止してもよい。判定値TH2は、例えば、潤滑油が高温となることにより炭化水素等が固体化される温度の下限値を示す。この場合、ステップS12では、燃料温度Tfが判定値TH1以上であり、かつ判定値TH2よりも小さいか否かを判定すればよい。
第2実施形態では、第1実施形態と異なる構成を主に説明する。なお、第2実施形態と第1実施形態とで同じ箇所には、同一の符号を付しており、その説明は繰り返さない。

・添加部50は、液体の潤滑剤を燃料通路41に噴射するもの以外にも、液体の潤滑剤を気化させた状態でガス燃料に添加する気化装置であってもよい。
Claims (5)
- 燃料としてのガス燃料をエンジン(10)に供給する燃料供給装置(40)であって、
前記ガス燃料を蓄圧貯蔵する燃料容器(42)と、
前記ガス燃料が前記エンジンで燃焼されるように噴射する燃料噴射弁(21)と、
前記燃料容器と前記燃料噴射弁とを接続し、前記ガス燃料が流れる燃料通路(41)と、
前記燃料通路を流れる前記ガス燃料に、前記燃料噴射弁の内部の摺動性を向上させる潤滑剤を添加する添加部(50)と、
前記燃料通路内の前記ガス燃料の温度が所定温度よりも低い温度であると判定した場合に、前記添加部による前記ガス燃料への前記潤滑剤の添加を禁止する添加禁止部と、を備える燃料供給装置。 - 前記燃料通路には、前記燃料容器から供給される前記ガス燃料を減圧する減圧弁(43)が設けられており、
前記添加部は、前記燃料通路において前記減圧弁と前記燃料噴射弁との間を流れる前記ガス燃料に、前記潤滑剤を噴射することにより、前記ガス燃料に前記潤滑剤を添加する請求項1に記載の燃料供給装置。 - 前記燃料噴射弁は、前記エンジンの複数の気筒に対して気筒毎に設けられており、
前記燃料通路は、前記燃料噴射弁と連通する連通路(32a〜32d)を通じて複数の前記燃料噴射弁に前記ガス燃料を分配する分配容器(30)を備え、
前記添加部は、前記分配容器の前記連通路それぞれに設けられており、前記各連通路を流れる前記ガス燃料に前記潤滑剤を添加する請求項2に記載の燃料供給装置。 - 前記エンジンは、前記燃料噴射弁による前記ガス燃料の燃料噴射量を算出する噴射量算出部を備えており、
前記噴射量算出部により算出された前記燃料噴射量に基づいて、前記添加部により前記ガス燃料に添加される前記潤滑剤の添加量を設定する添加量設定部を備え、
前記添加部は、前記添加量設定部により設定された前記添加量の前記潤滑剤を、前記ガス燃料に添加する請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の燃料供給装置。 - 前記燃料噴射弁は、液体燃料用の燃料噴射弁である請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の燃料供給装置。
